◾TUESDAY, JANUARY 5th, 2021 ◾ ABIDING IN GOD'S GRACE ©MINISTRIES ◾SPIRITUAL NOURISHMENT FOR TODAY #163: EPHESIANS 5:15-16 KJV. ◾REDEEMING THE TIME: ▪Do you earnestly desire to MAXIMIZE your life for Christ? ▪Do you want to have an ETERNAL IMPACT on people? ▪MOST people live to satisfy the daily needs of life, and to enjoy the temporal pleasures of this world. ▪But for the Christian, LIFE has MUCH GREATER SIGNIFICANCE and PURPOSE that takes us into the ETERNAL realms. ▪So let's DIG DEEPER as we STUDY these 2 verses from Paul. ◽1. Paul was instructing the Church in Ephesus to live circumspectly - wisdom in the use of our resources, and to minimize undesirable influences that have the power to hinder our effectiveness as vessels of God. ◽2. The pagans of the Roman Empire lived as fools, primarily focused on satisfying their fleshly desires with no concern for eternity. ◽3. Paul instructs Christians to redeem the time. This means to maximize our limited time for Kingdom work. Time is a valuable commodity that can never be regained. Time past is time lost! ◽4. Therefore, we should be alert to anybody, anything, or any circumstance that may cause us to waste time. The devil uses circumstances and people to divert our attention from the essential goals, and waste time on the trivialities of life. ▪Beloved in Christ, when Paul wrote to the Ephesians, the TIMES were ALREADY EVIL. ▪HOW MUCH MORE, EVIL - IT IS ,TODAY! ▪OUR TIME TO ENGAGE IN KINGDOM WORK IS VERY LIMITED. ▪We dare NOT fritter away our PRECIOUS TIME on petty things. ▪We ALL NEED to properly prioritize our time so that we MAXIMIZE OUR LIVES FOR CHRIST and HIS KINGDOM. ▪DECLUTTER YOUR LIFE. ▪ Nevertheless, YESHUA THE CHRIST SHOULD BE SOLELY FOCUSED ON and CELEBRATED! CHRIST SHOULD ALWAYS BE FIRST! CHRIST SHOULD ALWAYS COME FIRST! IT SHOULD BE FOR and ABOUT CHRIST ONLY and HIS BIRTH!!!!

▪NOT Christmas, NOT Presents, and MOST DEFINITELY and MOST IMPORTANTLY NOT About Santa [Satan]!!!!

▪BUT, Regardless If You CELEBRATE His Birthday On Christmas - OR - On HIS ACTUAL BIRTHDAY [ The one in the Bible (September)], HIS [Yeshua] BIRTH, is absolutely amazing, astounding and foundational for our Christian theology.

▪It is a wonderful thing to rehearse this event each year as one way of renewing our faith, and increasing our passion for Christ as Savior, God, and King.

▪Let's FOCUS on a few remarkable FACTS concerning the Child Yeshua and the Wise men:

◽1. The wise men (not necessarily 3) had been following a special star for over 1,000 miles. This star literally stopped and hovered over a house in Bethlehem. So then, the wise men were not at the manger where Yeshua was born. He was already almost 2 years old.

◽2. Notice their response. They rejoiced with exceedingly great joy, then entered the house. They fell down and worshipped the King! Obviously, GOD had already revealed this truth to them that this Child was no ordinary Child. The wise men entered, they bowed, they worshipped and they gave gifts to HIM.

◽3. These costly precious gifts were a great financial blessing to Joseph and Mary (who by this time were married and living together) who were poor. This would provide the resources to help them on their journey to Egypt.

◽4. Of even greater significance theologically are the symbolism of the 3 gifts: Gold represented His status as King; Frankincense used for worship represents His deity; and Myrrh which was typically used in embalming represents His death.

▪Beloved in Christ, let's be sure to NOT miss the RESPONSE of these wise men who recognized the uniqueness of Yeshua as King and God even as a Child.

▪These wise men journeyed a very long distance through difficult terrain, and rejoiced when they found The Child.

▪How about us today?

▪Are we rejoicing that we know Yeshua?

▪Do we enter His presence with reverence, joy and worship?

◾WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 16th, 2020 ◾ABIDING IN GOD'S GRACE ©MINISTRIES ◾SPIRITUAL NOURISHMENT FOR TODAY #147: COLOSSIANS 3:12-14 KJV. ◾THE CHARACTER OF GOD'S ELECT: ▪As it was in the days of the early apostles, so it is even today in matters of spirituality. ▪Many people prefer to spend more time debating theology than living as God expects. ▪The Christians at Colosse were facing some serious challenges to their faith including : Judaism, Legalism, Asceticism, Ritualism, etc (often referred as the Colossian Heresy). ▪After warning them about these false philosophies, Paul explained to them the practical aspects of the Christian lifestyle. ▪It is wise for us who claim to be followers of Christ to heed Paul's advice. ◽1. All born again believers in Christ are described as the elect of God, holy and beloved. ◽2. As GOD'S elect (The True Church), we are instructed to put on a new set of spiritual clothes. In order to put on new clothing, we should first remove the old clothing. Should be common sense! ◽3. Here a few items of the New Clothes: Tender mercies, Kindness, Humility, Meekness, Longsuffering, Bearing with one another, Forgiving one another, and Loving one another. ◽4. What Paul is teaching here is absolutely foundational for Christians. The true evidence of salvation (which is by God's Grace) is not what we claim by word but by the new life in Christ, empowered by the indwelling power of The Holy Spirit. ▪Beloved in Christ, I urge you to HEED PAUL'S WARNINGS and COUNSEL. ▪Many people who claim to be followers of CHRIST are NOT ALIGNED WITH GOD'S WORD. ▪Authentic salvation must be evidenced by a new character - a spiritual transformation. ▪So FOCUS MORE ON SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION - putting on the new clothing rather than than the futility of philosophy and theological debates. ◾WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 9th, 2020 ◾ABIDING IN GOD'S GRACE ©MINISTRIES ◾SPIRITUAL NOURISHMENT FOR TODAY #141: COLOSSIANS 2:6-7 KJV. ◾ROOTED, BUILT UP AND ESTABLISHED IN CHRIST: ▪In a world of 7.8 billion people with different religions, competing ideologies and conflicting philosophies, it is easy to drift away from Christ. ▪This was the problem facing the Church at Colosse in the days of Paul. ▪The members lived in the Roman world of pagan philosophy which exalted secret knowledge as the way to fulfillment. ▪So some were tempted to forsake CHRIST and follow after these cultural trends that "have an appearance of wisdom" (verse 23) but in fact were dangerous to their relationship with Christ. ◽1. Believers have received Christ not just knowledge of doctrines. Christ is living in us via the presence of The Holy Spirit. Therefore, we are commanded to walk in Him - conduct our lives in every way in union with the indwelling Christ. ◽2. We are rooted in Christ. As a plant derives nourishment from its roots which are in the soil, so too we draw life-giving strength from Christ in whom we are firmly rooted! ◽3. Once we are properly rooted, then we can grow - be built up in Him. This is a continuous action until death. We don't need human philosophies to be built up. On the contrary, such human wisdom will cause damage to us. ◽4. We are to be established in the faith. The actual meaning of this word has a legal implication. It's a legal contract. We dare not seek any other source of strength and power for our growth. ▪Beloved in Christ, as this world hurtles towards ARMAGEDDON and its final demise, let us be vigilant. ▪This is no time to seek answers in human religions, theological debates, political ideologies or cultural trends. ▪ALL we need is already provided by Christ and in Christ. ▪Be filled with Christ! GOD offered His only begotten (Unique) Son, Yeshua as the way to eternal life with Him in His Eternal Kingdom. ◽2. Whoever accepts this offer has the the assurance of everlasting life - name entered into The Book of Life. ◽3. Anyone whose name is not in this Book of Life shall be cast into The Lake of Fire.
