◾TUESDAY, JANUARY 5th, 2021 ◾ ABIDING IN GOD'S GRACE ©MINISTRIES ◾SPIRITUAL NOURISHMENT FOR TODAY #163: EPHESIANS 5:15-16 KJV. ◾REDEEMING THE TIME: ▪Do you earnestly desire to MAXIMIZE your life for Christ? ▪Do you want to have an ETERNAL IMPACT on people? ▪MOST people live to satisfy the daily needs of life, and to enjoy the temporal pleasures of this world. ▪But for the Christian, LIFE has MUCH GREATER SIGNIFICANCE and PURPOSE that takes us into the ETERNAL realms. ▪So let's DIG DEEPER as we STUDY these 2 verses from Paul. ◽1. Paul was instructing the Church in Ephesus to live circumspectly - wisdom in the use of our resources, and to minimize undesirable influences that have the power to hinder our effectiveness as vessels of God. ◽2. The pagans of the Roman Empire lived as fools, primarily focused on satisfying their fleshly desires with no concern for eternity. ◽3. Paul instructs Christians to redeem the time. This means to maximize our limited time for Kingdom work. Time is a valuable commodity that can never be regained. Time past is time lost! ◽4. Therefore, we should be alert to anybody, anything, or any circumstance that may cause us to waste time. The devil uses circumstances and people to divert our attention from the essential goals, and waste time on the trivialities of life. ▪Beloved in Christ, when Paul wrote to the Ephesians, the TIMES were ALREADY EVIL. ▪HOW MUCH MORE, EVIL - IT IS ,TODAY! ▪OUR TIME TO ENGAGE IN KINGDOM WORK IS VERY LIMITED. ▪We dare NOT fritter away our PRECIOUS TIME on petty things. ▪We ALL NEED to properly prioritize our time so that we MAXIMIZE OUR LIVES FOR CHRIST and HIS KINGDOM. ▪DECLUTTER YOUR LIFE. MINIMIZE WASTE. ▪ AVOID, if possible, NOXIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES and OFFENSIVE people who will EXHAUST your time and DEPLETE your ENTHUSIASM FOR LIFE. ▪BE WISE! What a remarkable opportunity! ▪But herein lies the SPIRITUAL DANGER - the capacity to INFECT the WHOLE WORLD with FALSE KNOWLEDGE, and DERAIL the FAITH of SOME CHRISTIANS. [The Evil Powers That Be, Are ALREADY Doing This, and Sadly, It Will Get WORSE!]. ▪This is WHY it is imperative that THOSE OF US [🙋] who KNOW THE TRUTH should USE GLOBAL MEDIA to WARN this DECEIVED WORLD .... BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE! TIME IS RUNNING OUT! ▪Let's LEARN from Paul's letter to Timothy: ◽1. Timothy was Paul's spiritual son in Christ. Paul was Timothy's mentor and guide. So Paul was instructing Timothy to GUARD the knowledge he was receiving from Paul. ◽2. Back then, Gnosticism had already infiltrated the Church. This was secret knowledge of spiritual mysteries that was not from God. It was worldly philosophy. ◽3. Already, some Christians had fallen victims to this false knowledge. So, it was urgent that Paul warn Timothy against any false teachings. ◽4. The application is clear for us today: Many "Christians" (including many pastors) are deceived, and are agents of deception. Be on guard! ▪Beloved in Christ, as this world edges CLOSER to the RETURN OF MESSIAH, the DECEPTION WILL ESCALATE and INFECT the WHOLE WORLD. ▪CHRIST prophesied it, and the APOSTLES also prophesied it. ▪Therefore, I am WARNING ALL who READ THIS - STUDY YOUR BIBLE!
