I finished playing Spiritfarer a couple weeks ago.  It was an amazing and beautiful game, and so here’s a handful of our beloved spirits, along with the Spiritfarer herself, Stella, and her fluffy cat Daffodil!  I think Gwen’s picture turned out the best, but I’m rather proud of all of these.

And yes, I know that Buck is lactose intolerant, but his favorite food is pizza, and I just read that mozzarella cheese would probably be okay for him to eat because it’s “virtually lactose-free”.  Wow, you learn something new everyday!

Today is the first of a few days to remember those who have left us and to honor their memory. And since tomorrow I plan on doing a traditional facepaint, today I wanted to do a piece I have been wanting to do since I finished playing this game. Spiritfarer was one of the most amazing gaming experiences that my husband and I very experienced, and we are not ashamed to say we cried hard while playing. So I wanted to draw out the spirit that left the biggest impact within the game for us... and not gonna lie, I did cry while drawing this piece. That's how impactful this game was.

I feel so bad for Atul in my playthrough. Since I'm going for the Platinum and wanted him to keep playing his flute for the other passengers for the "Make everyone Ecstatic" trophy, he was kept on my boat for way longer than normal so, while I'm ferrying everyone else to the Everdoor, Atul just kept saying "hey, don't forget about my party!" over and over as Stella just kinda politely ignored him.

Then, when I finally did do his dinner party quest, no one showed up and the dinner party was just Stella awkwardly smiling at Atul as they just kinda stood outside by themselves in the middle of the night.

Playing Spiritfarer atm and so far I haven't cried at any of the sendoffs (Gwen, Summer, Alice) but holy SHIT Atul's just hit me like a tonne of bricks and I started sobbing... The fact that there was no fanfare for him... When you ask the others where he is they (Astrid) say they don't know but they're going to be glad not to hear his snoring anymore... And then the flower just appearing... I was so stunned and googled what happened and saw that that's it and started crying so hard... My boy you deserved so much more <3

N - Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice)

For OFMD:

1. More things with physical textiles!!!!!

For a show with so many examples of beautiful clothing, assigning important symbolism to specific scraps of fabric, colours, patterns, etc, I feel like this part of the fandom is still heavily unutilised, even with some absolutely amazing examples of fanwork in this area.

2. More men's tits. There's lots of AMAZING fanart, but as a men's tits connoisseur I think we can do even better.

3. More snau. I miss it :<

I got back into This Is Not Fiction recently and good LORD I almost forgot how deeply beloved they are to me. If you haven't read it yet, get on with it!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have over 13 years worth of stuff to catch up on!!!!
