My CD Collection! (As Of 4/22/24)

I wanted to share my current CD collection since collecting them is something I enjoy and I thought it'd be fitting to post it here! I currently have seven CDs in my collection and I'll be listing them in the order I got them in with pictures and stuff!

The first in my collection was PORTALS by Melanie Martinez. (BTW, I know the controversy, so I'm not listening to her as much anymore, but she was my favorite artist for a long time and I loved this album when it came out.)

It has a disc (ofc) and a little booklet. No lyrics, just pictures of them in their pink alien form. I got it off Amazon when the album first came out.

My favorite tracks are NYMPHOLOGY, VOID, EVIL, and BATTLE OF THE LARYNX.

The second one I got was GUTS by Olivia Rodrigo.

It came with a lyric booklet with pictures, the disc and another booklet with the lyrics in other languages. This one was from Amazon as well but it came from Japan.

My favorite tracks are vampire, all American bitch, making the bed, teenage dream and lacy. (I honestly like all the songs on this album, but those are my favorites.)

Next is Bewitched by Laufey.

It came with the disc and a booklet with lyrics and pictures. This one was from Amazon as well.

My favorite tracks are From The Start, Lovesick, While You Were Sleeping, Letter To My 13 Year Old Self, and Promise.

Here's my first Mitski CD; Puberty 2.

This one only came with the disc, but it opens up and has the lyrics on the inside of the case. This is also from Amazon.

My favorite tracks are Happy, Dan the Dancer, Your Best American Girl, and I Bet On Losing Dogs. (I love pretty much all of them though.)

Recently I went to Barnes and Noble and got two new ones. The first one I got was Found Heaven by Conan Gray.

It came with a lyric booklet with photos and the disc.

My favorite tracks are Found Heaven, Alley Rose, Never Ending Song, Boys & Girls, Lonely Dancers, and Winner. (It's SUCH a good album and I like all the songs, these are just my favorites at the moment.)

The second one from B&N is Punisher by Phoebe Bridgers.

It came with the disc and a lyric booklet with really cool illustrations inside. The one in the picture is for Kyoto.

My favorite tracks are Garden Song, Kyoto, I Know The End, ICU, Savior Complex and Moon Song. (I love all of them LOL.)

The latest one I got (and my current favorite as well as the most special one in my collection) was The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess by Chappell Roan.

OKAY THIS ONE IS SO SO SO SPECIAL TO ME BECAUSE IT CAME WITH A SIGNED PHOTO CARD!!! YIPPEEE!!! It also came with the disc and a lyric map type thing with a dedication letter inside as well. This one came from Ebay since the signed ones were sold out on her store.

My favorite tracks are Casual, Red Wine Supernova, HOT TO GO!, Pink Pony Club, My Kink Is Karma, Femininomenon, and Picture You. (I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ALL THE SONGS ON THIS ALBUM but these are just some of my main picks.)

Can't believe that im A) scientifically and mathematicaly planning out conditions for what i need to do before i get my self-care day and that B) my plans for that self-care day is researching peekaboo galaxy and getting an official word doc for all the info i get to be more accessible for when i want to talk to people about it. Yes this includes researching the myth of Heracles, specificly the 12 labors in regards to the hydra. This also is probably going to include general more understanding of galaxies and the specific star that moved out the way to reveal peekaboo galaxy.

Black hole ramble

holy shit what the fuck oh my balls

black holes?? they’re fucking REGIONS?? How big are they? Why do they exist? Just random parts of spacetime that have such strong gravity NOTHING can escape?? The hell? Does time not exist in them either? I always talk about how time will never ended but if black holes are actually strong enough to slow down time so much (700 years to one minute apparently) right now could they just grow stronger to completely stop it? By then we’d be powerless against them and they could probably end the universe should they spawn enough. What the fuck. That’s so cool I would love for the universe to END like that, just black holes getting so strong they completely stop time and. Oh my gid there’s a supermassive black hole in every large galaxy? What about the smaller ones? How did we even figure this out if our galaxies are so far apart and still spreading apart? Do small galaxies just have smaller black holes or none at all? What if black holes fuse?? These things will keep my up at night thinking oh my god black holes are so cool. It’s 1:00 AM I should get sleep

ok hold on let's play in my "sausage is joining the life series" conspiracy space for a moment

what we know:

season 5 is coming VERY SHORTLY

cleo and jimmy are both adjusting their stream schedules for very vague reasons today

gem and sausage both changed into their "default" skins within like 20 minutes of each other a few hours ago (sausage's new hardcore skin, gem's overalls skin)

sausage was the first person to get out of new life, and lost his last three origins shockingly quickly

martyn has expressed wanting sausage to be in the life series, sausage has expressed wanting to play more with martyn and many other life series members

what we THINK we know:

gem is going to be in season 5

they are testing or POTENTIALLY filming season 5 today

LOOK. LOOK. I'M RED-STRINGING THIS I KNOW but stick with me. sausage seemed to speedrun his last few origins which would be kinda weird if he didn't have anything else lined up to replace new life, considering he tends to upload weekly and he has been consistently uploading new life for months now. of course he could be shifting to pirates but with how far behind his two pirates videos are from his stream i'm nooot confident in that.

also, sausage is very aware of the lore martyn has going on with the life series and we all know he LOVES THAT SHIT, plus he kinda set up a reason for his character from new life to end up in the life series- he's just learned how to world hop. also also the hardcore skin he's currently wearing is the only one that doesn't have that arm band that he has pretty consistently established as "the thing that helps him world jump" and i mean. why would he be able to do that here. idk i KNOW i'm red stringing but YOU SEE WHERE I'M COMING FROM, RIGHT.

I do want to mention peekaboo galaxy in my aliens au but i fear if i do i will actually not be able to normal about it. The metaphors i could make it would make me ill. Something about the star right next to it and how it moved out of the way because sometimes things move and it shouldnt mean anything but it does. Something something small galaxy being a star that is both big and bright. Dim and young galaxy filled with blue stars hidden behind a star. It's in the hydra constalation im sure i could be insane about that. The hydra has nine heads but there's only one in the sky - the immortal one. Heracles twelve labours, the hydra is the second and maybe that should mean something i dont know. Another story with it is with it being a water snake and Apollo's crow is supposed to fetch him a cup or something but it get distracted and blames the water snake for being late. The water snake didnt do anything but it's being blamed for tardiness and that might make me insane with the metaphors of my story. Apollo sees through the crow and he ends up putting both it and the cup in the sky but the constalation of the hydra is between the both of them so the crows never gonna get the cup again. The star that covered peekaboo galaxy doesnt have a name, well it does but it's numbers it isnt personal it's a name but it's a title more than anything and something is wrong with me but i cling to that so hard because it's so important but it also doesnt matter at all.

now that Caleb has been confirmed as Wittebro’s name, the idea of Hunter changing his name to Caleb in the future really rubs me the wrong way. Like... It just goes against his entire arc of becoming his own person and not who Belos wanted him to be; Caleb’s replacement.

Besides, I think Hunter suits him much more.
