Natasha and Wanda jumped as they heard an ear-splitting scream come from beside them. The two women turned to the source of the noise and their hearts broke at what they saw.

You were obviously having a nightmare. You were sweating and moving around frantically, as if you were reaching out for someone, but couldn’t quite get to them.

You abruptly shot up as you breathed heavily. Your eyes adjusted to the dark room as tears streamed down your face. You whipped your head side-to-side and were met with your two concerned girlfriends.

“Shh, it’s okay detka (baby). It was just a dream.” Nat spoke softly as she pulled you into her arms. Wanda softly caressed your hair, her fingers softly untangling the knots that had formed during your slumber.

You cried into Natasha’s neck as her arms tightened around you. The Russian rubbed your back while Wanda continued playing with your hair.

This wasn’t the first time you’ve had a bad dream. You had them quite often, so the women knew that you’d talk to them when you were ready to. They knew not to push you, and you were so grateful for that.

After a few minutes of whispered reassurances from your girlfriends, you had finally calmed down as you pulled your face away from the assassin.

“Please don’t leave me.” Your voice cracked when you spoke. It broke their hearts. They had figured out that your dream had something to do with them.

“We would never leave you, honey. You’re our home.” Wanda placed a kiss on the back of your head, considering you were still in Nat’s embrace.

“We wouldn’t even think about it, sweetheart.” Nat’s words came out muffled as she kissed the top of your head.

You couldn’t help but smile at the two women. Even in the dark, they could make out your pearly whites.

“Come on, let’s go back to sleep.” Wanda cooed as she gently pulled you away from Natasha and laid you down.

The two women followed after you. Natasha wrapped her arms around your waist from behind while Wanda’s rested right above the redhead’s.

“I love you guys. Thank you.” You whispered out as your eyes began to feel heavy. You slowly shut your eyes and were met with darkness.

You were already half-asleep, but you were still able to make out their words.

“We love you too, moya lyubov (my love).”

“We love you more. You never need to thank us.”
