How would Star Butterfly come out as a lesbian? How her family and friends react to her coming out as a lesbian?

Well here it is! I was gonna write about Star coming out to Marco and her parents too, but this became way too long as it is?

So here it is for now, i hope its ok! Its basically Star coming out to her lady friends!

Star looked at the faces in front of her. Sitting on her bed was Kelly, Starfan13 and Ponyhead (Of course Pony wasnt really sitting asmuch as floating, but that’s beyond the point). Ponyhead was face deep in hercellphone and Starfan13 and Kelly were talking. Star wasstaring at each one of them.

After a while, Kelly broke the silence.

–So, Star… its not that i am not having a great time here,but…

–What the heck are we doing here B-fly?! –said Ponyhead,interrupting the other girl -. You got us here for half an hour, looking at uswith that… that constipated look on ya face.

–Whaaaat? I am-I am-i am not doing that –said Star.

–You’re right, it looks more like you stepped on a pointyrock –said Kelly.

–Haha, yeah! Or-or like you ate too many hot dogs and got,like, super sick –said Ponyhead.

–Yeah! Or you look like-

–Alright! –yelled Star-. Alright, alright i got it, maybe ido have a constipated face. Aaand maybe i got a reason for inviting you girlshere today. And ma-maybe i did that cause i got something super important thati need to tell yall.

When she Heard this, Ponyhead closed her cellphone anddropped it in bed.

–Lets hear it then! I got a party tonight that i so need togo to! By the way, you girls can come too.

–I’m in –said Kelly.

–Guys, please –said Star, interrumping what already felt like a derailing conversation-. What i got to tell you it’s, well it’s shocking. Imean really shocking. Not gonna lie it-it may change the way you girls see me.

–I could never hate you, Star! –yelled Starfan13, adding hertwo cents in the conversation.

Star stared at her.

–You know i never really said “hate me” but now that’s athought, so thanks Starfan13 –she said. She was playing with her own hair,tugging it a little. That bit of pain was somewhat relaxing.

Ponyhead didn’t miss that. She has seen Star do thatbefore, when she was ultra stressed after a nag from her mother.

–Girl just spit it, i can promise you, we will not hate you –shesaid.

Star smiled a bit at this. She was right. She need to behonest with herself. Or she was already honest with herself, and now she just needed tobe honest with her besties.

–Ok. Here goes nothing. I’ll just say it –said Star. She wasready. –Girls, i like girls!

There was silence in the room.

–I mean not you girls! Other girls!

More silence.

–And it’s not cause you girls are not pretty or whatever.You are all beautiful!

And even more silence. The teens looked at each other.

–I’m not saying i wouldn’t date any of you girls, i would! Imean i will not, but i could, you are all hot. And i mean that in a nice waynot a flirty way, cause that would be weird cause we are friends and all that,but also kinda like, you can like your friends sometimes. But not you guys! Other friendsthat-please don’t let me keep talking!

–Yeah, please stop –said Ponyhead.

Star took a deep breath, cause that was one long exposition.For a momento they stayed in silence. Star breathing heavily, trying not to have a heartattack. Starfan13 was very jumpy in her seat (as Star asumed she would be). Ponyheadlooked upset. Kelly face was a mistery.

–So, yeah. That’s it –said Star.

Ponyhead was the first one to talk.

–Alright B-fly, not to break ya bubble or anything. And iknow that was something, like, super important and i can tell it was difficultfor you to say it and all that… But we already knew it.

That was like a punch in the liver. Not, actually it waslike somebody suddenly stuck your head in a washing machine while it was…washing.

-Come again?

Ponyhead laughed loudly.

–Aww B-fly come on. It was obvious.

–Yeah, sorry but i agree with Pony –said Kelly, anaccomplice smile on shined on her face -. You always, kinda, gave me that vibe.I thought it was just me cause i don’t know you that well. But hey! I ain’tjudging. I like both boys and girls, you know?

–…come again?

–Yeah, come again?! –said a voice, but they didn’t seenobody.

The top of Kelly huge mane of hair was moving. While itstand up on it’s own, it became clear.

–I didn’t knew any of this! –said Tad, Kelly’s boyfriend(A.K.A exboyfriend and then boyfriend again) that lived in her hair.

–Tad, go back down there! This is a girl’s party! –Kelly pushedher hair down and Tad dissapeared in her mane.

Starfan13, who has been pretty calmed up until that point(if by calm we mean bouncing in her seat the whole time), jumped from the bedand got Star in a tight embrace.

–I would never hate! –she said. There was amixture of bubbling happiness and a strange sadness on her voice. –Speciallynot for that! Or for anything.

For Star, this was all very surreal (a handy word that Marcoteached her, but she hasn’t used until now). She thought a lot about the posiblescenarios, some included inmediate acceptance, and other some fighting andarguments. But she didn’t thought that… well that her friends could tell.

–Wait a minute, wait a minute. How did you guys knew? –said Star.

–Girls, how couldn’t we? You could see it from another dimensión.You always check out other girls when we go to clubs –said Ponyhead. For thefirst time since the talk started, she stand up and floated next to her friend-. Also no offense at all, but you haven’t dated anyone since the demon boy.And he was your only boyfriend, AND it felt kinda fakey.

Star had to admit that was true.

–Yeah i guess i was… kinda forcing myself to like Tom. He isstill a good friend tho, i mean, when he is not a jerk –said Star. She wantedto add “which is not often”, but she decided not to. –And you… i mean, you guys areok with this then?

Ponyhead frowned.

–Well, i am a bit upset that my bestie decided to tell me atthe same time and momento that these other two –she said, and when she realicedhow it sounded, she enchanged a lookwith Kelly and Starfan13 -.No offense girls, but i am the main Bestie here.

–Right –said Kelly. –And you know Star? The thing is, itdoesn’t really matter what we think? You are who you are. If we haven’t beenaccepting that would have been our problem, not yours. But for the record, weare.

–Big time! –said Starfan13.

Star felt like someone was pumping air in her heart, causeit no longer fitted in her chest.

–Aww girls!

She grabbed her friends and hugged them tighly, as strong asshe could. She didn’t stop until she hear a groan and a snap. She turned pale.

–Uhh, who’s back was that? –she said.

–Mi-mine –breathed Kelly. Star quickle let go of them.

–Sorry Kelly. Got that, super mewman strenght, you know?

Kelly cracked her back in a fast movement. It gave a painful noise, but she could stand taller now.

–No problem, its better now. Kinda.

The air in the room felt lighter, at least for Star. Ormaybe it was just that she could breath a bit easier now.

–So, did you tell her? –said Kelly, trying to find somethingmore to add.

–Who? –asked Star.

–Janna. Did you tell her you like her?

Star became pale as a ghost. Ponyhead and Tad gasped.Starfan13 gasped and fainted, but she landed in the soft rug, so she was ok.

–What.the.ever.loving.Mewni!? –yelled Star. –How could you…possibly… i mean… ugh! I dont even now what i am saying!

Kelly burst into laughter.

–Chill Star, i just guessed it! I mean, she is the only oneof the gang that is not here, isn’t she.

Star wanted to faceplant herself. Mostly cause she didn’tthought about that, but also because she didn’t imagine Kelly was so smart andobserving. You learn something knew everyday, they say. And they are friggingright (whoever “they” are supposed to be).

Ponyhead got close to Star face, almost close enough to gether horn through Star eyeball.

–What the hey girl, now i AM offended! You got a crush andyou didn’t told me! –said Ponyhead, breathing loudly.

–I am sorry Pony, i myself am still trying to process thiswhole… les-bian thing –said Star.

–… the what now?

–That’s the earth Word for woman that like other womens.

–Ok i don’t care about that –said Ponyhead -. Besides, comeon B-fly, couldn’t you get anything better than the bean hat girl? I mean she isnice and everything but a BOMB like you? You could girl any chick you want!What do you even see in her?

Star thought about this. She could explain to Pony aboutJanna. About the way she looked at Star, like she was both the person she knowsmore about, and the greatest mistery in the Universe. The way she laughs,loudly and weird but cute. The way she always knows what to say to get what shewants, or to get Star to smile. She could tell Pony of Janna’s big brown eyesand weirdly shaped hair that she is super sensitive about but that Star thingsits beautiful. She could tell her that Janna is dangerous, and smart, andromantic, and insecure but in a way that she wouldn’t let anyone see but Star.

She could say all of that, but she doesn’t have the guts.Not to tell it to Ponyhead, less of the less to Janna.

Instead, she just sighted and said:

–Janna is Janna.

It didn’t satisface Ponyhead, but it calmed her. They talkeda little more about the matter. About Star and how she found out, about hercrush. But then they talked about everything. They even woke up Starfan13. Shewas devastated but she calmed quickly, still happy about being Star’s only Fan.Kelly enchanged a few reasurring words with her.

After that they went to the party Ponyhead was going to, andcelebrated without a care in the world.

Later that night, when Star was in bed, at no less than sixin the morning, she reflected in what an amazing group of friends she has.

And that Kelly and Starfan13 would make a cute couple. Sheneeded to set them up.
