Tumblr media
*not my gif*
A/N: So I am writing this for @writingsbychlo and her Tom-uary event. (check it out btw if you haven’t. Lots of amazing stuff.) It’s an au with an OFC because this baby is going to be more than one chapter long lol. I have never seen the movie so go easy on me if I mess up some things. Thank you to @dylinski for looking it over and Chloe for her amazing brainstorming ideas. Without further adue...my story.
Description: Soulmates have existed since mankind was made. But with the outbreak of the Flare, the concept had been long forgotten...until now.

Prologue
The room was dark when Tommy snuck into it. It didn’t matter though, he had been in that specific place so many times he could probably navigate it with his eyes closed. He came up on the glass enclosed room where the scientists kept her. The figure that was lying on the bed was pulled up into a ball as if to try and vanish into nothing. Tommy’s heart clenched looking at the sight knowing that he had been part of the reason why you wanted to do nothing but disappear. Heading over to the keypad, he was about to enter his password to open the door when he heard footsteps. Turning around, Tommy’s eyes were wide as he expected guards to walk around the corner. When he saw Teresa’s worried face instead his breath released and his body relaxed as he went back to work.
“Thomas, what are you doing?” The brunette ran over to the man as she watched him enter his code and swipe the card. “Stop. Tell me what you’re doing!” Teresa pleaded with him as she grabbed his arm. Tommy quickly yanked away as he pulled a pair of jeans and a tank top out of the bag on his back, ignoring the other girl. He didn’t want to talk to her or tell her his plan..he couldn’t risk it. Thomas also knew Teresa and that she wouldn’t stop till he told her.
“I’m getting her out of here,” was all he said as he walked over to the door and slowly opened it. The figure on the bed had finally realized what was going on and started to turn over, blinking at the light that filled her room with the flashlight Tommy held. Hazel eyes were shielded by a pale hand, squinted as Tommy slowly walked closer to her. “Mick...hey it’s me,” he said carefully. He saw the confused look on her face as Teresa followed him in.
“Tommy, you can’t just take her out of here. She’s important to us,” she whispered. Tommy waved her off as he kneeled in front of Mick.
“What do you two want? I thought the tests in the middle of the night were done for now?” The girl was tired and honestly after the day that she had, all she wanted to do was sleep for the next three days. “Tommy...you said that it was the last time for a long time.” Her voice never rose above a whisper as she felt his hand rest on her arm.
“I know, and I’m keeping that promise. Get dressed..I’m getting you out of here Mikayla.” He spoke quickly as he shoved the clothes into her hands. Standing up, Tommy walked out of the room and to his desk in the lab as he grabbed another backpack from the drawers.
“Thomas, you can't just take her away. We need her,” Teresa said as she tried to stop whatever the boy was doing. Tommy quickly shrugged off her attempts before looking at her.
“No YOU need her. This isn’t right, none of this is,” he hissed back. Tommy always felt like something was off with WICKD from the moment they started experimenting. Once they figured out that some batches of DNA held the antidote to the Flare, they started experimenting. Some subjects were sent into the mazes...and some they just ended up running more tests on here. Tommy was Mikayla’s handler for the past few months, but he couldn’t do it anymore, not after other things came to light. Moving his sleeves up, Tommy reached for something else on his hand when Teresa grabbed his wrist.
“What is that?” Her voice was low and Tommy looked down at what she was staring at and stilled. He forgot that the crossed arrows were still on the inside of his left wrist. They had just appeared in the last week and it was then that he knew what he needed to do for Mick. Yanking his hand back, he grabbed his jacket and started back over to where the other girl was.
“It’s nothing. Leave it alone.” He didn’t even bother to look at her as he walked to where Mikayla was standing. “Come on, put this on...we need to go before they switch shifts.”
Mick just stared at him with hard eyes. Only eight hours before he had been participating in torturing her and now he was helping her? “I don’t get it..why are you so intent on getting me out of here now?” She spent so long hating him to get through everything that him trying to save her was throwing her off.
“Can you not argue for once in your life and just trust me?” Tommy asked quickly. “Please.” He held his hand out to her as he watched Mick deliberate if she wanted to take it. It felt like an eternity had passed before he felt her warmth and folded his fingers around hers. It was almost like a jolt of electricity went through them. It was the first time he had ever touched her bare skin without wearing gloves of some sort. Mickayla looked up at him with wide eyes but before they could say anything they heard voices. Tommy looked around and noticed that Teresa was gone and cursed as he gripped Mikayla’s hand tighter and ran to the side door of the lab with her. Running down the hallway, they could hear the guards shouting into their radios that someone was missing from their cell and to start shutting off all corridors.
“Tommy...we aren’t going to make it!” Micks voice wasn’t above a whisper but he could still hear the hysterics in it. Running down a hallway, he pulled her into an alcove as they tried to wait for guards to pass. Her body was pressed close to his and he could feel her shaking as his arms wrapped around her. Mick attempted to slow her breaths with the techniques she used when being tested on.
“Mick..I will get you out of here, I swear.” He whispered looking down at her face. Moving the hair from her eyes he pressed a quick kiss on her forehead and looked around. “I promise..I’m not leaving you here to die.”
The kiss shocked Mikayla more than anything. More so because she didn’t expect the rush of emotions to follow from it. Looking down she noticed the symbol that appears on her right wrist appeared on her left. Having symbols on your wrists wasn’t unusual, it meant that you found your soulmate. But only if it was on your left wrist...if it was on your right then that meant it was your enemy. And Mick hated Thomas..or so she thought.
Before she could process what was going on, Mick felt Tommy grab her hand and drag her down the corridor. There was a door at the end and for a second she thought that they would actually get out of there alive. That hope was dashed when it opened and three guards came through.
Tommy grabbed Mick and shoved her behind him as the guns pointed their way. More guards poured in behind them and the sound of clapping echoed through the hallway. Tommy turned around and noticed Jansen walking slowly towards them, applauding them as a grin spread across his face.
“Well done, Thomas. You have managed to break even the lowest standards that we held for you,” he said as he stopped a few feet away, hands behind his back. Tommy made sure that Mick was out of Jansen’s line of sight but it didn’t help. “What did you think would happen? You would escape and by some miracle be able to be free for the rest of your lives?” The rat faced man shook his head as he motioned to the guards behind the pair. “You should know by now that it doesn’t work that way. Besides, Mikayla there is part of the cure. She can help save us all.”
“Or how about you go to hell and let us be on our way?” Tommy spat out as he shrugged his shoulders. His attempt to look like he didn’t care that they were surrounded was failing. Feeling Mick slipping from his grasp, Tommy quickly turned and noticed her being dragged away in a feeble attempt to fight back. He knew that she didn’t have the strength, the amount of blood they took from her that day made sure of that. “LET HER GO!” He yelled as he headed straight for them. Tommy reached his hand out and almost had Mick’s in his when he felt a blow on the back of his neck causing him to go down.
“Tommy!” Mick yelled. She tried so hard to fight, but the running had sapped whatever energy that she had left. She felt a man’s arms wrap tight around her as another one stepped up and drove a needle into her neck. Whatever was in it worked quickly as the girl started to slump down in the guards arms. Tommy watched in horror from his spot on the ground as someone threw her over their shoulder. He tried to get up to run to her when he was knocked down again, this time Jansen was right over him. His boot dug into the middle of Tommy’s back as he pushed him back down. “This is the last time you disobey us, Thomas.” He whispered in his ear. When Tommy tried to struggle more, Jansen saw the mark on his arm. Pulling the boy up, he shoved him into a guard who incapacitated him as the older man walked over to the girl that was passed out. Lifting her arm up, a sinister smile spread across his face once more.
“You were right Teresa, he did let his feelings get involved.”
Tommy’s head popped up at the name and noticed the girl walking over to the group. Her eyes were red rimmed with tears as she avoided his. “Teresa, why? You know this isn’t something that we can continue,” Tommy yelled.
“I’m sorry Tommy, but WKCD is good.” The words fell from her lips and Tommy felt nothing but rage.
“Take her away! Burn the mark off her arm before she wakes up, I don’t want her remembering anything that happened.” Jansen said as the guard walked away with Mick.
“NO...GET BACK HERE!” Tommy yelled as he struggled against the guard holding him down. “I'm going to kill you, Jansen.” Tommy was shoved to the ground and flinched as he felt another needle go into his neck. The drugs were fast acting as his eyes started to droop. Jansen’s face was the last thing he saw before the darkness overtook him.

Vincent Van Gogh x Reader - “Lover And Secret Admirer”
When being able to make time for yourself, you only get a little sad when your  boyfriend always seems to be working. You took it upon yourself to keep doing what you love on your own: painting. But one day, when Vincent needs a break, he walks into your shared room only to find some magnificent pieces of painting, how would he react?
Tumblr media
Requested by anon: “I just noticed that you write for ikevamp and i am so happy!!! Your such a great writer i got really excited!I wanted to ask for a vincent piece with a s/o that actually really had been admiring him in her world and became an artist too, but she has always been afraid that she wasn’t that good, but then one day Vincent sees some of her sketches and he just flips his shit like “mY SuNsHinE cAn draW???” And then she admits that she really loved his paintings and they just end up snuggling maybe?"
A/N: Hope you like it! ^^
The last time (Y/N) had a day off seemed like a century ago, but as always, Vincent was busy when she wasn’t and vice versa.
She didn’t want to tell him she was free, knowing that it could stop his inspired streak, what if she completely distracts him and then he can’t find any more inspiration, she knows how him and his brother gets when that happens.
With a small sigh, her finger tips slithered among her beautiful hair as she walked through the long hallway.
(Y/N) made a conscious effort to keep the sound, that her shoes were making, to near silence as not disturb Vincent, who was working away in his room.
Releasing a relieved breath when she was getting further and further away, she happily increased her pace towards the kitchen.
"Oh, hi Sebastian." She smiled, hovering over the coffee beans.
"What are you doing?" He raised an inquiring eyebrow as he cleaned the surface of the counter with a clean cloth.
"Making myself a small coffee?" The girl frowned, not understanding why he seemed like he was about to scold her.
"It's your day off, I will make you your coffee."
"But it's unfair to you, you already have so much to do and I don't see you taking enough breaks, so let me help!"
"I insist," the butler shooed her out of the kitchen, "where will you be?"
"My old room." She gave in.
"I'll be right there."
"Alright," her feet guided her towards the dining room.
"Oh, Theo?"
"Hmm?" The figure was hunched over a plate of pancakes before he looked up to meet the eyes of the person that pronounced his name.
"You're hungry at this time of the day?"
"... what is it to you?"
"Nothing," she blurted out, pacing to another hallway.
"Where are you going?" His voice stopped her in her steps.
"Old room, I don't want to distract Vincent when he's inspired."
"Hmm," he nodded in approval, ending the conversation before pulling himself back to his pancakes.
Humming a small tune, she dragged her heels against the carpeted floor, finally arriving in front of a familiar door. Unlocking it with the key she hadn't used in a while and pushed the wooden structure open. (Y/N) hadn't been gone for a long period of time and yet it was harder to open then she remembered.
The hinges wouldn't have rusted so soon, she must have grown accustomed to Vincent's door.
Her heart welled in nostalgia, she hadn't really been around this place of the mansion since Comte had given her the room furthest from the blood-sucking residents to not tempt any of them.
Sitting on her bed, she gazed at the ceiling, the walls, her table, fingertips grazing over the Sebastian-cleaned sheets, too consumed in her thoughts.
After coming back to her senses, she leaned over her bed, reaching for the box under her bed and pulling it out.
A small grin appeared on her face as she unclip the locks and peeled the box open.
All her brushes were still there, intact, as well as her colour pallet with various colours of paint.
Standing up and opening the lowest draw of her cupboard, her hands gripped her sketchbook before she lazily let her body drop down back on the mattress, rattling a few of her brushes in the process.
Delicately, she pinched the first page and let it flutter open for her.
The drawings and paintings she had finished also remained untouched, like time had frozen over them and preserved them.
With no further adue, she flipped to a blank canvas and picked out a few of her brushes.
After an hour or so, she carefully set her drying outline of a figure on her bed to go to the toilet to wash up a bit.
****
"Do you know where (Y/N) went?" Vincent's lips pursed in thought.
"Her old room, she didn't want to disturb you." The blond didn't know why his gut feeling told him that his brother would know since he didn't care about much, but he was glad that he followed through with it since it wouldn't have wasted as much time.
"Thank you," he smiled before strolling towards her rapidly.
Once he got to her room, the bone of his index finger knocked softly against the door.
No answer.
He frowned in confusion when he peered through the slightly agar door.
"(Y/N)?" The question dissipated as quickly as he uttered it. He invited himself inside, scanning around to be sure he wasn't encroaching on her privacy.
His throat released a surprised hum when his beautiful ocean blue eyes landed on what looked like the beginning outline of a drawing.
Carefully, he leaned over it to let the patterns sink in.
Was this her doing?
Unconsciously, he sat on the bed, gracefully placing the notebook in his lap as he admired each masterpiece.
If he wasn't so entranced by these beautiful pieces, he wouldn't have encroached so much on this. He knew nothing about this so it must be that she didn't feel like sharing it, if Vincent was using his brain instead of his heart, he would have gone well away to respect her and apologise profusely even if she didn't see him doing it.
"V-Vincent?!" A voice spluttered from the level of the doorframe. His eyes snapped away and towards the girl with wide eyes.
"(Y-Y/N), I'm so sorry, I was just- you draw so well- I don't know what came over me, I'm so sorry." The end of his apology became clearer to understand.
Quickly yet cautiously, he closed it and placed it back on her bed and rushed in a corner of the room, head hung low in shame,
"I didn't tell you because my skills aren't nearly as good as yours so it would be embarrassing if I told you that I have the title of an artist as well because I couldn't compare to you. You're my inspiration behind becoming an artist and you have years of experience ahead of me so-"
"Stop," he placed a few slender fingers against her lips to shush her, tall figure looming over her, "your paintings and drawings are magnificent," the vampire beamed as the memory flashed in his mind, "even if I didn't love you, or know you, I would tell you that you have tremendous potential and that you're wasting it spreading these lies about yourself."
Slowly, the woman relaxed, entranced by his beautiful features as he dipped down to kiss her softly.
After the sweet, affectionate action, she nuzzled his neck, rubbing against his warm scarf. His arms laced around her waist as he kept her close.
"I'm truly honoured you think so highly of me," he murmured. Immediately, her cheeks flushed, "and I was wondering if you would do a piece with me...."
"Really??"
"Of course!" His angelic smile made her heart burst with happiness as she hugged him tightly.
“I’d love to, b-but I want to do this first,” holding his hand tightly, she guided him to the bed. They both lay on the mattress, curling up into each other, “I missed you, I want to spend time in your embrace,” the small whisper made Vincent grin widely.
“I do too.”

First fic of the blog is gonna be my first Fallen Hero fic! Contains some spoilers for Retribution. TW: Needles
"09."    You look up as the door opens, stomach churning and hands clammy. Andrelina stands there, in the doorway.    "Y-Yes, miss?" You manage to make eye contact, heart somewhere in your throat.    She told you to wait in your room for her, told you there was something important you had to do today. You shuddered to think of what sort of test they might run on you today. You hope, at least, that there are less needles involved. They're your least favorite, but not by much. Everything the scientists do to you tend to be more awful than not.    "It's time," Andrelina beckons, holding the door open.    You nod, swallowing hard as you get to your feet and follow her out. The tile in the hall is identical to that in your room, right down to the temperature. Your toes curl at the cold and you wince, but say nothing. You wish, sometimes, that you were allowed shoes like the doctors and scientists wear - though maybe not the ones with heels like the redhead wears. Or for the floor to be warmer. Either way, Andrelina will not care what you have to say. Well... Most of the time, anyway.    "What are we doing today?" you find the courage to ask. She's usually willing to tell you that much, unless she's in a bad mood.    "Your tattoos. Dr. Adus says it's time."    Your heart sinks, a lump forming in your throat. You've heard mixed stories about the tattoos - some of the others have had them done painlessly, others not so much. And with Dr. Adus being, well, himself... You don't expect this to go pleasantly.    You chew on your lip a little, "Does it... hurt?"    "I wouldn't know. I've never had them."    Your shoulders sag; you're certain Andrelina knows. She's probably accompanied many Re-Genes to this procedure. She just doesn't want to tell you, or doesn't think it's worth the effort explaining. And it's not like you really deserve to know, anyway.    The redhead comes to a stop at a set of elevators and presses the button. You fidget with your clothes - the dull grey uniform is rough and itchy, and barely fits properly, but you can't complain. You're barely allowed existence - what right would you have to complain about the clothes they gave you?    The elevator dings when it arrives and Andrelina gestures for you to enter. You do, sidling into the corner. She follows, tapping her ID card on the screen and pressing the button for the third floor. You wonder - not for the first time - how many floors this place has. How far up does the elevator go? How long will it be until you get to leave and see the world beyond? You hope it'll be sooner rather than later, you'd love to get out of tests and experiments just for a little while.    The elevator comes to a stop all too soon. The door opens once again, dinging.    For a split second, you have the urge to hit another button on the screen. To go higher, to the top, maybe, and out. But the urge passes quickly - rationality reminds you that you don't have an ID card, and thus the elevator wouldn't obey your command. Not to mention, Andrelina is right there.    You exit the elevator, the lump in your throat getting harder to ignore. Andrelina is practically on your heels as the pair of you head down the corridor. Your hands tremble and you clasp them together in front of yourself, trying to control it better.    "In here."    You glance at the door you've just arrived at, pulse picking up. When you next emerge, there's no way anyone will mistake you for a person. Unless they could only see your face. As you reach to open it, you wonder briefly what color your tattoos might be. You've seen a lot of variety.    Dr. Adus sits at a desk in the room beyond, opposite the door. You step inside, a greeting dying somewhere in your throat at the sight of the chair next to him. It looks like it might be comfortable, with its tall back and long seat - it's so long it looks as though you're supposed to rest your legs on one end. The only thing that's really off-putting about it is the open leather straps all over it. You freeze in your tracks, heart starting to race - they're not going to tie you down for this, right?!    "The restraints are only if needed." A gentle hand - so gentle - on your shoulder prompts you to look up at Andrelina. She rarely touches you so softly. No one does, for that matter. She lightly pushes you further into the room, nearly on your heels. When she releases you, it's to step around you and stand near the wall on the opposite side of the chair.    "Took you long enough," Dr. Adus gives you a look, as if it's your fault you weren't here sooner, before returning his attention to the instruments on the desk. "Strip down and take a seat."    You swallow hard, certain you misheard. "S-Sorry?"    He looks at you again, eyes narrow. "Take off your clothes and sit down," he repeats firmly.    You glance at Andrelina, who nods ever so slightly. You bite your lip but do as you're told, pulling off your pants and shirt. Goosebumps form on your skin as the cold settles in even worse than before. When you look up, shivering, Dr. Adus is staring at you with a strange look in his eyes, his gaze roving over your mostly bare form. You have the distinct feeling that he isn't looking at the bar code on your chest.    You approach hesitantly, perching on the very edge of the chair. You don't like the way he's looking at you, keeping your eyes on the floor.    You shudder when he grips your shoulder, pushing you against the back of the chair. You look up, eyes wide with terror.    "She said the restraints are only if necessary." His tone is as cold as the room. "Now, hold out your arm and stay still." He gestures towards the armrest.    You stretch out your arm, eyeing the strap warily. Dr. Adus turns back to his desk once more, picking up... something. When he returns his attention to you, you're able to get a good look at it. It's got a large needle on one end, with what seems to be some sort of small tank attached to it. Your mouth goes dry at the sight of the needle, stomach twisting, trying not to think about how much worse it's going to be than a normal needle. He holds it almost like a pen, hovering over your arm, just a little bit past your elbow. He doesn't even give you any warning before starting.    The needle pierces your skin, a sharp pain drawing forth a cry that you don't get the chance to hold back, instinctively pulling away. Your arm stings badly, your heart starting to race.    This is going to hurt a lot.    Dr. Adus roughly grabs your wrist and puts your arm back where it was. "Don't. Move."    You mumble an apology, gripping the armrest tightly with your other hand as he resumes.    You barely hold back another cry, the shaking worsening. Tears form in your eyes as the pain intensifies briefly but thankfully plateauing at a mostly manageable level.    "Sure looked terrified when you two came in," he glances towards Andrelina.    "Yes," she sighs. You can't see her expression, too focused on holding still and not screaming, but you have the feeling she looks annoyed. Or disappointed. "She's going to be reprogrammed tomorrow. Again."    Reprogrammed again. Locked up in that awful machine, and for what? To feel empty and numb and wrong for a few days, a week or two at most, only to go back to your old, anxious self. And have to be reprogrammed again. You aren't supposed to remember the sessions. Or feel so much. But you do, and they don't like that.    The pain stops. You look down at your arm to find orange lines crawling their way up your forearm, just a little past your elbow. You wipe away your tears with your other hand, bracing yourself for the next round.    "Lean back," he orders.    You do, settling on the chair properly, bringing your legs up onto the lower part, the cool leather of the backrest sending a chill up your spine. He shifts closer, and you look away. You don't want to watch this. It never helps.    The area he's working in now must be far more sensitive. The pain spikes and you scream, actually scream, and jerk away, unable to help yourself. It's just too much to handle. You hunch over, clutching at your arm.    "09!" he snaps. "What part of 'hold still' do you not understand?"    "I-I'm sorry!" A panicked sob escapes you. "I-It hurts, I'm so s-sorry!"    "Just restrain her. We haven't got all day for this," Andrelina speaks over you. You feel her hands on you again, but they are far from gentle. No, this time they are rough, shoving you back against the chair, holding you there while Dr. Adus straps you down.    "P-Please!" You cry, struggling, but he's already got one wrist bound. You know, deep down, there's no point in fighting. There's two of them, they're both stronger than you, and it's only going to make things worse. But what are you supposed to do? You can't stand just sitting here and letting them have their way with you. Neither of them even acknowledge your pleas. Soon, you are totally restrained, now unable to move at all. Your chest and throat are tight, tighter than the straps are. Tears spill down your cheeks, shoulders quivering with silent sobs.    "If you'd just listened, you wouldn't have to deal with this." He shakes his head, frustrated. He picks up the needle-pen-thing and brings his chair closer to you. You tense in your bonds as he rests the tip of it on your arm again, just barely, lingering a moment so he can watch you squirm in discomfort.    You jerk against the straps when the pain returns for the third time, whimpering. Dr. Adus doesn't even glance at you, continuing his work. You turn your head to stare at the wall; it's better not to watch. Not by much, though. You wonder how long this is going to take. How long will he keep you here, trapped like this? And... If it hurts this badly on your arms alone... You shudder to think of how bad it'll be on more sensitive areas of your body. You shut your eyes tightly, the tears never ceasing, resigning yourself to what is bound to be a very long day.

No, Don’t Kiss! (Sebastian Stan x Reader)
Requested: YES!
Plot: Reader and Seb had been together for years, until they go their separate ways, however, the reader’s nephews miss Seb and help get them back together
A/N: Sorry for the wait, but please enjoy and feel free to request! I also got super carried away so it’s a little long
Tumblr media
It was your sister’s son’s birthday party, he was turning the big 13, he was a teen now, great.
“Hey big guy, happy birthday! I got you this gift, and I promise to take you out later, somewhere fun, but don’t tell your mom.” You told your nephew.
He shook the box, “Is this a game? You know I’ve been wanting this game and mom won’t buy it for me, if you got it, I will love you forever!” He exclaimed.
“I mean, I guess you just have to wait until you open your gifts.” You winked, giving him a hug before making your way around to say hi to relatives and family friends.
“(YN)! I missed you!” Your younger nephew called out.
“There you are! You’ve gotten so big, if you keep growing one day I won’t be able to pick you up!” You laughed.
“No, you always pick me up, you can’t just stop out of nowhere!” He laughed.
“Ok, but then I’m going to get old and you’re going to be so much bigger and stronger than me.” You replied.
“Well when you get old, Seb can pick me up! Where is he? He always brings me presents.” He laughed.
“Um, Seb has work, so he won’t be coming today, plus, it’s your brother’s birthday, not yours silly.” You smiled.
He groaned, jumping from you arms and running away. Leaving you standing there awkwardly, catching the eyes of your sister, who was sending you a sad smile.
“My kids, they’re like us, they have no filter. How are you doing?” She smiled, leading you to the kitchen.
You went on to tell her you had your good days and bad days, but you really did miss him, you just couldn’t blame him for working and living his dreams.
Weeks passed after the party, now months that you hadn’t seen Sebastian, or even received a text from him, which was odd, three years together and five years of friendship made the break up hurt even more.
The more time you spent moping around, the sadder you got, looking at the pictures of you two together, even with your family. A whole new wave of tears, your family loved him, your nephews adored him, it had been months, close to a year, since they had seen Sebastian.
At every single function your nephews would ask about Sebastian, your heart breaking a little bit more every time their eyes filled with tears when you told them Sebastian wasn’t going to show up.
“The boys want you to come over.” Your sister stated over the phone.
“What for? I saw them last weekend, I’m cool, but not that cool.” You replied.
“To...” you heard whispering, “to come eat dinner.”
“It’s 2 in the afternoon.”
More whispering, “To come play the games you bought them and make dessert with them, you are their favorite.”
“Something weird is going on, you sound like a robot.” You replied.
“JUST COME, SEE YOU IN 30 MINUTES!” Your nephews yelled into the phone.
So 30 minutes, later you were standing on the doorstep of your sister’s house with cookie dough and frosting.
The door opened, revealing your sister and loud laughter from your nephews, “Come in.”
“What’s up with you? You were acting weird over the phone.” You asked, setting your things down and heading to the kitchen.
“Just go, they started without you, and sorry.” She said before zooming up the stairs.
“Hey guys, your mom is letting you bake with no adu- Sebastian, what are you doing here?” You gasped.
“(Y/N), I- Hi.” Sebastian smiled.
“I thought you were filming in Canada, at least that’s what I remember your calendar saying.” You mumbled.
“Yeah, um, I got a break for a few weeks, then the boys invited me, and I really missed them so I came.” He explained.
“Yeah, they do miss you.” You whispered with a sad smile.
“Go talk, we haven’t started anything yet. Go, get out of here.” Your oldest nephew rambled.
As soon, as the both of you were in the living room, he began talking. You talked for hours and hours, apologizing and forgiving with tears.
“Now kiss!”
“No, don’t kiss! That’s gross.”
“Just get back together, so we can make our cookies and cupcakes.”
Sebastian placed his hands on your cheeks, pulling you in for a kiss that fixed everything.
“Let’s go work on those cookies.” He smiled.

Dance on Ice - Chapter 4
Location: Ice Rink Characters: Tsukasa, Leo, Kaoru & Izumi
TL Note:
Leo pronounces Kaoru’s name a little strangely, like he does with Izumi.
Tumblr media
Tsukasa: Please think about the person who has to find you every single time, Leader! I’ll tie you down!
Leo: Are you lacking in calcium too~? Stop stamping your feet; what’re you gonna do if the ice breaks?
Well, I’m sorry. I didn’t know where the ice rink was, so I ended up making a full loop of the area.
I seriously had no idea where I was and I had just about given up, you know~
That’s why I’m saved now, seeing as you’re here to find me! Thanks, Suou~ I love you lots ♪
Tsukasa: I’ve told you over and over again to not say things like that, haven’t I!? Do you never learn? Even a monkey is slightly more intelligent.
Good grief, please make sure you don’t get lost next time.
You end up being in unexpected places, like in the thicket or in between fences and such after all. Are you a cat or something?
Kaoru: Uhh, Tsukasa-kun? I need to talk to Tsukinaga-kun about something important, so do you mind if I borrow him for a bit?
Tsukasa: Ah, Hakaze-senpai… Thank you for your help that other time.
Kaoru: There’s no need for the formalities. I don’t really remember doing anything you should be thanking me for, anyway~
Our social standings are different, so there’s no need to be overly considerate, right?
Anyway, I’m going to borrow Tsukinaga-kun. I won’t be long, so have a nice chat while we’re gone. Let’s go, Tsukinaga-kun ♪

Woah, she wasn’t kidding. There are wheels on the coffin and you can nap while being on the move, so basically he’s sound asleep right now?
Kuma-kun’s laziness feels like it’s yelling this is the ultimate spot.
You could’ve just given him a slap and dragged him here, but thank you for the hard work, Anzu.
Tsukasa: …………
Izumi: What, Kasa-kun? Do you have something to say?
Tsukasa: Oh, no! It wasn’t as if I was interested in your attitude towards Onee-sama, Sena-senpai, so please don’t mind me!
Ritsu: *Kick kick*
Tsukasa: Ow!? What are you doing all of a sudden!? Seeing your hands and feet dangling out of the coffin like that makes it seem rather Horrific…!
Ritsu: Ugh~ I feel sick… Before I knew it, I was brought here in the coffin, but this is Anija’s, isn’t it?
Tsukasa: You’ve caused all this trouble for Onee-sama, and when I realise you’re awake, you’re complaining!?
Izumi: Hey, now that Kuma-kun’s awake, everyone’s here so we’ve got to let the staff know.
Anyhow, I can’t make Naru-kun wait in there any longer as it is.
Ritsu: You say everyone, but where’s “Ou-sama”? Did he disappear again?
Izumi: Kao-kun took off with him and… Oh, they’re back.
Leo: Wahahahaha! Are you guys ready for war? Just because it’s been peaceful doesn’t mean you haven’t been keeping your weapons in good shape, right?
If you’re a coward, I’ll send a bullet flying in your direction...♪
Izumi: Don’t spout nonsense the moment you come back. Our job is a pinup photo shoot for a magazine and not a live battle, after all.
Leo: Wahaha, I’m fully aware of that! Kaoru* asked me if he wanted to do a double shoot with “Knights” and “UNDEAD”.
And we ended up talking about who’d take the best shots, so I thought it’d be pretty interesting and agreed to it!
Izumi: Huuh? Think about the people who you’re getting involved. Besides, there’s no need for us to fight it out. We don’t even need to see the results; it’s pretty obvious who’s going to win.
Kaoru: Oh? Mind if I ask what you mean?
Izumi: Don’t you understand? In “Knights”, you’ve got me and Naru-kun -- active models.
There are girls in our agency, and yet all of the clients are requesting for us. In other words, we’ve got the skills and experience to show for it.
It’s a fight with an adult and a kid -- it won’t even be a war.
You should focus entirely on your own work. I don’t have the time to interrupt someone when they’re working, anyway.
Kaoru: Ahaha, seeing you ignore me so refreshingly like that only makes me laugh. You don’t even think there’s a millimetre of a chance where you’d lose.
Sorry to burst your bubble when you’re so confident, but they do say that victory depends on the luck at the day. It’s not completely guaranteed that you’ll win.
Let’s have a competition, Senacchi. We’ll have the staff, Kunugi-sensei and Anzu decide which unit has the best shots.
As a result, if majority prefer our shots over yours, then you’ll take a double shoot with us with no complaints.
If you believe that “Knights” will definitely win, then you’ll accept, of course, won’t you? Or could it be that you’re slightly worried that you’ll lose…
Izumi: Yeah, right. You’re just an amateur picking a fight with a professional. You’re really cheeky, you know that?
I’ll beat you so badly, you’ll never be able to open that mouth ever again. You'd best be prepared, Kaaao-kun ♪
Tsukasa: Oh no, you’ve set fire to Sena-senpai’s Pride! Whatever is Hakaze-senpai thinking, provoking Sena-senpai like that…?
Leo: Who knows. I do know one thing, and that’s that a battle has started with that single phrase.
Which means it’s the beginning of war! I’d love to tell you to leave everything to me, but they do say that you should go to the specialists if you want the best results.
I’m leaving everything to you, Sena. You better make good use of us, wahahahahaha...☆

Titanic - Yuri!!! On Ice (Chapter 6)
Suddenly there was a major shift in the boat, causing both men to fall, and a loud scratching noise against the side. Looking up, Viktor just barely managed to see the iceberg passing the ship. "What the hell was that?"
Viktor stood, helping Yuuri up before they both headed over to the edge of the boat, looking over to see the large iceberg disappearing behind them. "Did we hit it? Surely we can't sink, right, Titanic is... unsinkable..." Yuuri said, eyebrows knitted in worry. "We won't, it'll be fine. Just to be safe, though, we should take you back to your suite." Any other time, Yuuri would have insisted on staying with him, but he wanted to make sure that his mother was okay. He nodded and followed him back, Viktor leading him back with his hand in his. When they got back, Hiroko quickly went to her son to make sure that he was okay, him assuring that he was. When Viktor stepped in, though, Jacqueline snapped her fingers and Celestino and another man held him back. "What the hell?" Yuuri asked to her, her humming and circling him. "I've lost something tonight. Something precious to me." "JJ, I'm-" "Not you." She said. "Search him." "Oh, bullshit! I didn't do-" "Is this it?" The other man held up the beautiful blue ring, which he had pulled from his pocket. Viktor was silent a second before he looked up to Yuuri. "I didn't steal it, Yuuri, you have to believe me!" "He couldn't have..." Celestino and the other man pulled Viktor away, down to the lower decks where they took criminals.
"Jacqueline, I..." Yuuri stammered off, JJ raising her hand to hit him before simply curling it into a fist. "You betrayed me. You ran off, you got together with another man, a low class man at that!" She said. "If you didn't have money, I would call this off." She growled at him angrily, looking up as a crew member came in. "Hello, sorry to interrupt, but the captain is requiring everyone to go to the ballroom in life jackets." "Not now-" "This shouldn't take long." He said. She groaned. "This is not over." She said, Yuuri sighing and going to get his life jacket on. They headed downstairs to the ballroom, everyone just standing around. "Yuuri, do you know what's happening?" Phichit asked as he approached the younger man, him shaking his head and looking around. "No, no idea..." He said, seeing Guang Hong hurrying ahead. "Mr. Ji!" Yuuri said, coming to him. "What's going on? Why're we here?" He paused and frowned. "The ship is sinking, Yuuri... I'm sorry, I'm really sorry... In an hour or so... Please, don't tell anyone, I don't want there to be a panic. Get to a boat, as quickly as possible... You... remember what you noticed about the boats?"  That there were only half of the lifeboats they needed to save everyone? "Yes..." He said, hurrying to his family and Phichit. They immediately went upstairs to get in the boats, Phichit getting in, then helping Hiroko in. "Come on Yuuri, get in." She said. Yuuri moved close and thought for a moment. If he left, Viktor would be left down in the low decks and he would likely die. And Yuuri didn't want to deal with that. "I can't... Mama, the man I love is below decks and I have to get him. I love you mama, I'll find you in New York..." He turned and hurried to go below decks. "Yuuri!" Jacqueline followed after him, grabbing his wrist. "Stop it! Get in the damn boat, Yuuri!" "No!" "You'd rather be a gutter rats lover?" "Better than being with you!" He slapped her and immediately stepped back. "I'm sorry..." He said, running away to find where Viktor was.
"Mr. Ji! Guang-Hong!" Yuuri called, coming to the other Asian man. "Where would the master-at-arms take a man under arrest?" "Yuuri, you need to get on a boat, quickly, before you lose the chance to." Guang Hong said, looking worriedly to the young man. "Mr. Ji, I'm going to do this with or without your help. But without will take longer..." He sighed softly. "Alright, I'll help... Take the elevator to the lowest level, take a left, down the crewmans passage, left at the stairs, then down a long corridor. Hurry, please..." He said, looking worriedly at him. "I will." Yuuri turned, rushing down the hall to find the closest elevator. There, a man held his arm out, blocking the elevator. "The lifts are closed." Yuuri tried to push past, but the man only repeated himself, Yuuri frowning deeply. "I'm done being polite, god damn it! Take me down!" He said. "The lift is closed." He repeated, Yuuri frowning and pushing the man away, getting in the elevator and closing the iron gates in front. "Then I'll go alone." He said, Yuuri pulling on the lever to make him go down to the lowest level. He gasped sharply as the elevator began to go into water, Yuuri immediately shivering. It was freezing cold. He opened the door and looked around, turning left when he saw the crewmans passage. He hurried down it and turned left again, then starting to call for Viktor. "Viktor! Viktor!" Yuuri called, waited for a few moments before continuing through the water down the corridor. "Viktor!" Yuuri called again.
Viktor groaned and tugged on the silver metal cuffs on his hands, making metal clinking noises against the pipe. "Help!" He yelled, cursing when he saw water coming from under the door. He was fucked, completely fucked. But, that was when he heard his name being called out down the hall by an oh so familiar voice. "Yuuri!" He called back. After a few moments, the door opened and Yuuri sighed in relief. "Thank god!" He said, going to him and wrapping his arms around him. "Viktor, I'm sorry, I know you didn't steal my ring!" He said, kissing him. "It's okay, let's just focus on getting me the hell out of here." Viktor said, pointing to a large rack of keys. "Look for a silver key." Yuuri went over to the rack and looked over them. "They're all brass!" "Check the drawers over there!" When he couldn't find a key in there, Yuuri went to kiss Viktor again. "I'm going to go and get some help. I will come back." He promised, Viktor smiling with a bit of fear in his eyes. "Please hurry." Yuuri hurried out into the hall, going up the stairs to try and find someone who could help them. By then, though, everyone was on the top few floors. Yuuri felt an anxiety attack coming on, but he shook his head and took a breath. There were more importantly things to deal with right now. Yuuri paced back and forth until he looked up, seeing a fire axe. That would work. When he came back to the room, it was already waist high in water, him taking off his light robe and tossing it aside. "Viktor, I found this!" Yuuri said, holding up the fire axe. "Not the best, but sure, as long as I can get out." When Yuuri came close, Viktor shook his head. "Hold on! Take a few practice swings at that chest there." Yuuri turned and hit the chest, trying to hit the same spot again. However, nowhere close. "It's fine, it's fine... Just do it." Viktor said. "But-" "Before I change my mind, love!" Yuuri nodded and looked down as Viktor spead the chains out as far as he could and looked away. He held the axe up and hit, but managed not to amputate his lovers hand. Viktor laughed incredulously. "Oh, you beautiful man!" He said, grabbing Yuuri's face and kissing him as he stepped into the water. "Shit, this is cold!" He said, taking Yuuri's hand to help him out of the room. Yuuri looked, seeing the water blocking their way out. "It's okay, we'll find another way." Viktor said, able to tell that Yuuri was panicking. Luckily, they soon found a staircase that lead to a locked door. They were easily able to break that down. A crew member glared at them. "You'll have to pay for that, you know, that's White Starline property!" "Shut up!" Viktor and Yuuri said in unison.
"Let us out, you can't keep us down here, we'll drown! There are women and children, damn it!" Georgi cursed, looking to his girlfriend and their daughter, her blonde locks tied back in two pigtails, their baby wrapped in a red blanket. He began down the stairs, trying to find another way to get out, when he ran into Viktor, him quickly hugging the man in relief of him being alive. "What's going on?" Viktor asked. "They won't let us out!" Viktor looked around, sighing in relief when he saw Christophe. "Chris!" He said, hugging the man tightly, Chris letting go of a brunette mans hand to hug his friend. "Theres nothing the other way either!" "Well, then lets's find something!" Viktor lead everyone away, Georgi lagging behind a bit since he had to go back up to get his girlfriend and daughter. Viktor went up to a gate, looking angrily at the guard who just told everyone to go back to the main stairwell. "Open the gate." "Go back to the main stairwell." "Open the gate!" "Go back to the main stairwell!" Viktor groaned and turned for a moment before growling and tugging at the iron gate. "*Ty, mat', chertovski svin'ya, nadeyus', ty sgorish' v adu!!!" Yuuri pulled his lover back worriedly, him pulling away and going to look around for something, anything. That's when he saw a wooden bench nailed to the ground. "Help me with this!" Viktor called to his friends, who all came and helped him pull the bench off of the wall. Yuuri, who realised what they were doing, helped make a space for the two, guiding people against the walls so they wouldn't get hurt. Despite the crewmen's protests, they rammed into the gate until it opened, the people hurrying to get out of the hallway.     They ran up to the upper decks, everything a mess. Boats were being lowered half full, men were jumping over into women's boats. Things were falling apart. They ran to the front, the whole group of people running to the front of the ship where boats were still packing people in. "Viktor, it's only women, we can't get on!" Viktor cursed and looked down for a few moments. "Georgi, check the other side, you too Christophe." Viktor said. "Viktor-" "I'll be fine. I'll be seeing you again soon. Chris, in the blessed lands." Christophe smiled softly and nodded, hurrying with Georgi and his family to check out the other side. Viktor looked around, noticing a long green jacket and a large hat that was draped over the side of the boat. Viktor grabbed them and put the jacket on Yuuri, it hugging his figure, and putting the jacket on next. "I have a first class wife here, move aside!" "V-Viktor?!" "Yuuri... I love you. More than I have loved anyone else in my life. At first, it was just lust, seeing how beautiful you were when you danced, how your body moved, how your clothes fit you perfectly. Then I met you and I realised that you're smart and funny and so so amazing. The world needs more men like you. And they can't lose a man like that tonight. For my sake, my love, get on the boat." Yuuri's eyes watered and he grabbed Viktor, hugging him tightly. "I can't. Viktor kissed him lovingly before lifting him with a small grunt, tossing him into the boat as lightly as he could. "I love you, Yuuri, I'll find you in America!" Viktor said. He would probably die on this ship, but if Yuuri made it out, he could be okay. He would gladly die for Yuuri to be safe. But Yuuri couldn't handle that. He watched as they lowered him down, flares going off behind Viktor's head as he smiled down to his lover. Yuuri couldn't live without him, he decided that the moment he saw him. When they came close to a deck, Yuuri stood and jumped off, getting himself back on the boat with the help of a few other men. "Yuuri!" Viktor called, running to go meet him in the dining room downstairs. Yuuri ran and jumped into his arms when he finally saw him, holding him tightly. "Yuuri, you idiot! You're so dumb! Why did you jump?" Viktor asked, Yuuri kissing all over his face. "I couldn't do it, I'm sorry! I couldn't leave you, Viktor, I love you too, if I die, I want to die with you, I'm sorry." He said, just holding him close. "It's alright, we'll figure it out." He said, looking around. The room was already flooding... Viktor took Yuuri's hand and waded through the water quickly, hurrying through the dining room to a lower deck meeting room, Yuuri pulling back and stopping when he saw Guang-Hong standing in a room, staring at the clock with tears in his eyes. "Mr. Ji... You won't even try?" He asked, Viktor pausing a few moments for him. "I'm sorry I didn't build you a good enough ship..." He looked over at a life jacket, him handing it to Yuuri. "Godspeed..." Yuuri breathed quietly. "Same to you." He said, going to him and hugging him tightly before he let Viktor pull him away.
Leo stared out at the crowd of people rushing to get to boats. A blonde woman with a baby in a red blanket hurried to him, speaking with a Russian accent. "Captain, please, I lost my boyfriend, I don't know where he is, where do I go? Please?" He just stared and shook his head. "I don't know..." He said incredulously. She hurried away, Leo ambling back to the steering room, going and closing and locking one door before going to the next. However, Guang Hong was there already, him coming in and locking the door. "Guang Hong, you should get to the boats." "I couldn't live with the guilt of a taken up seat if I could." He said, coming close to him, sitting beside him against the back wall of the room. "I'm sorry." Leo said as he came and sat next to him. "For?" "We're going to die, might as well confess our sins, right?" He said with an almost bitter laugh. "I'm a gay man, and I've loved you since I met you on the day of my interview to sail this ship. That's why I've flirted with you so much, and I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable." He said. "Can I confess my sins?" The Asian man asked, the American nodding. "I'm a gay man, and I've loved you since I met you on the day of your interview to sail my ship. But I didn't want to ruin my reputation, so I hid it. I wish I didn't. At the end of the day, who cares anyways." "Well, the end of our day is coming soon. So fuck it." He said, pulling on his tie and kissing him. Though surprised, Guang Hong wrapped his arms around his shoulder and kissed back, tear dripping down his eyes. "Why are you crying?" Leo asked. "Because we waited so long." He said, watching as water began to pour in through the cracks in the window. "But we did it before we died." Leo pulled Guang Hong closer and hugged him tightly. "We did." Guang Hong said as he held him close in return. With a quivering voice, he whispered, "I love you Leo." "I love you too, Guang Hong." They were quiet for a moment before, with a small weak yelp from the smaller man, the glass broke and water filled the cabin.

Tonight, we will be looking at Skill Acquisition, important and the effect on the economy of the nation…
By means of Introduction, I will start with Bishop David Oyedepo quote; he said “No purpose has a future without a skill!” The truth is the importance of skills acquisition in Nigeria cannot be overemphasized. And for Nigeria to be economically self-reliant, we must necessarily diversify our economy and as well encourage the youth to embrace self-employment through skills acquisition, entrepreneurship, etc #BeSkillful
I will like us to read this analysis I posted on my blog this Monday so we can prepare our heart for this session well

*Why Skill Acquisition?*
~Before you answer the above answer this: How Secure is your “secure job”? Take it or leave it there is no job security anywhere! The only secure job is the skill you have in your hands ❗️💪🏻 Carefully read these, I am sure you are aware… Months ago Dangote laid off 47 expatriates and other 157 junior staffs some months ago… MTN sacked 4,000 workers without notice in one day! These guys came to work just last Friday September 30th, 2016 and were told it was all over without prior notice. A close source to MTN has already indicated that the salaries of the remaining staff of the company has been slash by 50%. Are you still in doubt that there is no job security?! Again, From the beginning of this year from Zenith bank sacked 1,200 staff, Access bank sacked 800 staff, Skye Bank sacked 400 staff, Unity Bank sacked 320 staff, Construction industry sacked 60,000 workers, La Casera weeded out 1,300 workers, Promacidor laid off over 600 just December 2017 just because they have acquire a sophisticated machine that can do the work of 50 people in one hour…! The end does not seem to be near for retrenchment syndrome and this is just a tip of what could be captured in this booklet… Companies are closing down; others are downsizing so as to survive. The Nigerian statistic office announced that over 500,000 Nigerians lost their jobs in the first eight months of 2016 and still counting… That is just what they can track from the number of companies that were closed down and others that downsized in the formal sectors. *** No, don’t wait for things to get worst before you act, you can create an additional income and stay above the waters by acquiring a skill from Prolific Stella Initiative a subsidiary of Prolific Global Concepts: “Our mission is to rescue…from unemployment!” Click here for more info about our skill acquisition: http://bit.ly/ProlificStellaSKillAcquisitionProgram Lying on one side of the bed and expecting a change is like killing a scorpion with your bare hands, you might get stung. 😩 Someone has said: “The definition of insanity is to do the same thing over again and expect a different result.” ~ You may say but doing business or investment is risky, that’s true however, it is a greater risk not to start anything! 😁😳 The truth is: I have seen poor people that have never lost money but haven’t seen a rich man that has never lost money. I hate to see people struggle to feed family…because I have being there: it’s really frustrating- I can tell you that! 💁 I have been doing my part and God is helping me. Now is your turn to take responsibility…! The greatest investment you can ever do in the one you invest in becoming a better person… Prolific Stella says, Skill acquisition is the new oil well that will never go dry! Acquire a skill! #BeSkillful 🔨 @prolificstella (It worthy the time…just pardon me🙏🏻) Again, I wrote this some weeks ago…
#MondayMotivation
“I wished I learnt carpentry while growing up”~ Prof. Yemi Osinbajo
Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has advised children currently on the holiday to learn something new outside academics.
Speaking in Lagos on the sidelines of 60th birthday thanksgiving service of Salami Ololade, a pastor, Osinbajo imbued “It’s important for children to learn something that could have an impact on their lives and communities in new fields…I wished that when I was growing up I learned even carpentry!” 😁
It’s a known fact that the skill acquisition is the new oil well that everyone needs to dive into; especially the young ones to secure their future as there is no secure job anywhere!
However, it’s not too late for anyone to acquire a skill that will make you a self-reliant individual…
Remember: The best investment you can do is in yourself first, then to others and the communities. @prolificstella
Now to the session proper:
A skill can be defined as the ability to do something well, usually gained through training or experience.
Skill acquisition on the other hand involves the development of a new skill, practice or a way of doing things, usually gained through training or experience. #BeSkillful 🔨
I need you to know that no skill is irrelevant as other may think… You like to know that Prolific Stella has more than 20 Skills she possesses! 😳 #BeSkillful🔨
It’s not to say that you should…mine is because I am basically a skill Acquistion trainer (that’s a niche…) I do not mean to intimate anyone but the reason why a lot people are enslaved in their work place is simply because they are not skilled! Take it or leave it 👌 Even if you are a job seeker or you are on a job, make up your mind to be indispensable by acquiring skills that will make you indispensable!🔨 Most graduate can’t even use google document and you are looking for job! Hmmm #BeSkillful ✔️ Someone asked me yesterday that if skill acquisition is for the purpose of being rich… Hmmm
In summary I told him…it is first to better yourself…to make you a better version of yourself, to be a value added entity
Why Skill Acquisition
1) Self-employment: A skill acquired man is a self-employed man. The piece you are reading right now is written as a result of the skill acquired by the writer. There are so many self-employed writers today who do not border themselves of carrying files from one office to another in search of job. Their duty is freelance writing and they make great money from their writing. In the same vein, many successful businessmen and woman whose names are heard in many parts of the world are self-employed. A self employed person can never go hungry because the skill he acquired provides food for him on daily basis. But one who lacks skill acquisition will find it difficult to be self employed because he has nothing to offer. #BeSkillful 🔨
So even writing is a good skill you can trade with and even start training others on
2) Different job opportunities:
Have you ever seen someone who acquires many skills…?! Such person is classified as someone who is up and doing. 👌🏃🏻 Those who have many skills stand the chance of gaining job from many establishments.
Frankly speaking, people who have many skills are being searched by many companies. Company A, B, and C stand in a queue fighting over one person. They are searched for because they can do many functions due to the series of skills possessed. #BeSkillful🔨
I remembered when I was working in a digital marketing company, I was the a) Head,Media b) Head, market c) PA to the MD d) Producer of the company’s radio show on City FM so the company sees me as resourceful…
When you are skilled, you become indispensable! #BeSkillful 🔨
Even though there is non that is indispensable…the truth is there is none to match with the level of the results you will be commanding! That’s what it simply means !👌#BeSkillful 🔨
3) Employment generation:
Governments are still finding it difficult to provide jobs for the citizens because the citizens are lacking important SKILLS they need to take up the job! 💪
There will be a lot of jobs generated for the citizens of every country if the citizens are well equipped with skills.
This is why it is necessary for government to organize skill acquisition programme for the masses as this will go a long way in providing jobs for others. #BeSkillful 🔨
For example: Someone who is well equipped on electronics repair can train his fellow citizens. When these citizens ‘mature’ in such field, they start earning from the skill they acquired from their master. This is how the newly trained in that field will train other persons, and employment generation keeps on growing in such circle.
Likewise those who have good skills in businesses, they make good money on their businesses and generate employment for others by employing other to assist him in his business. If you really want to see the change you desire to see in Nigeria, you need to acquire a skill, create jobs and help reduce the rate of unemployment in the country. #BeSkillful🔨 In other words, skill acquisition is also taking responsibility…✅
4) Effective function: I need you to know that even organization don’t want to employ a liability to the company. They are trying to safe cost thereby, seeking employees that have skills that will add value to the company in no little way!
So if you are the type that love paid jobs and you are not building capacity to improve your skill level…you might be out of job very soon! That’s the truth. Sorry if I am being hash
Companies are now looking for people that can do the work of two or more people… #BeSkillful
Organizations that employ skilful workers to assist in their organizational duties lose nothing at all because there will be always effective functions performed by the employee.
