I've got armour desgins for GQ Grillby and GQ Undyne!

The most recent chapter of the Golden Quiche (GQ) introduced these really cool armour for Grillby and Undyne. I am not good with details so I hope I did the armours justice!

The fanfic, Golden Quiche, belongs to @sophtoart!

Below here is my design process and my designing sketches!

With the designs, I basically drew them in a basic base, Undyne's base was the undying form and Grillby's was just a random reference from the internet. Then I drew the details unique to the GQ armour (while tweaking some stuff). For Undyne I focused on her prosthetic eye and the rolling waves design. For Grillby, I focused on the cape, the emblem, and the flame etchings.

I'm no good with helmets either so I just designed something but didn't draw 'em in the final drawing. I really wanted to include the back of Grillby's cape, with the ace of spades embroidery but didn't find it practical. :/

This is the most fun I had in a while from drawing! I've been drawing TWFOA non-stop for a few weeks and really needed something different to draw so thanks Sophtopus! Thanks for introducing the really cool anime armour!

Masked up skeleton dudes. Featuring Gaelic and Garamond from @sophtopus's The Golden Quiche.

A thing in the story is that skeletons can go unnoticed by humans when masked and dressed to conceal their skeleton-ness, which Garamond and Gaelic do as part of the Magus association (wearing A riot control style helmet with a reflective visor, and a heavily tinted motorcycle helmet respectively).

Papyrus and Sans wouldn't be wearing masks since Ebott Town mosters are publicly known. But still, here I chose a sentai mask for Papyrus (since he's a hero to all), probably some merch based on some in-universe show, and this mask for Sans (a metaphorical mask, but literal in this case.)

2024 Exciting Update in Everything

It’s been a month! omg… When you start to be in a flow in doing everything, time flies and you wouldn’t even notice. I was like in a time machine again.

I remember it was the golden week, and when I was back to work, there were tons of task waiting to be done. And then my arm hurt and I didn’t know why. Luckily I had gotten my current work all done, so I decided to take some rest for my arm while I was to improve my productivity system and update everything for my art pages.

And it’s a month that has passed. I feel better with my arm now! And with the improved system, I feel like I can start to get more things done!

I've updated my Kofi goal and revamped my commission board and page! Prices unchanged and there will be a supporter discount and discount offer for Pokémon SV characters requests this summer! No new types added yet, but I’m exploring chibi style, sketch collage, and character design—

Especially character design, it’s the comms type I’ve always wanted to do! Just like concept designs I did for my original characters! I think I will open this type someday after I've posted and shared some art of my original characters! Stay tuned if you like my style for the concept designs or are interested in this comms type! I’ll make a pinned blog about my comms and things later!

Speaking of OCs, I’m planning more original content on my art pages, sharing what I’ve drawn for them and making new pieces about them. I’ve been talking about it but now I feel it’s time. Really excited and can’t wait for you to meet them! I didn’t really draw them all so this will go with some concept design process update, it must be fun to share!

Also, I decide to open a new blog for my original work! Actually, that was what I was doing with this blog at the beginning, though it ends up becoming a fanart-focused blog now. I will make this blog remain fanart-focused, sharing mine and rebloging others', and my fanfics will also be shared here.

Then I have to mention my King Mettaton story. I haven't given it up despite translation challenges and everything. I’m starting to think maybe I should share the fic even if it’s still untranslated. The translation softwares can help readers nowadays. After all, if I don't start sharing the story, no one will ever read and know the story. I finally got over my perfectionism I guess… I’ll urge myself that translating at least one sentence a day and call it still a progress, so someday I will eventually complete the fanfic translation. I will stick with the plan that sharing the story on Tumblr. But maybe also on Ao3? I’ve heard that is the site where most people share their fanfics, perhaps I could open an account there for my KMTT story and other fanfics too.

Lastly, I’m launching my Patreon! Some supportors suggested it, and I think it’s a good timing to make another fresh start for my artist journey, after I’ve made this far. Updates on Patreon will sync with Kofi, so you can support me on your preferred platform. I'm exploring more content and offer too!

Life gets busy, but connecting with you all and sharing art bring me joy! I just can’t imagine a life without all of these, so even though I’d be busy sometimes, I will always manage to come back no matter what happened! I’ll keep up the pace and be more active on here!

This is some fanart of the lovely Lady Lucidia, our for @sophtopus for their AMAZING Undertale Fanfic The Golden Quiche (PLEASE GO CHECK IT OUT). The only reason I created a Tumblr account and ao3 account was to comment and post abt this fic lol. I've read through so many times and finally gotten the motivation to make something out of the awesomeness I absorb from this fic!

I got kinda confused on the neck tie scarf foldie thing, so i just winged it.

Oh yeah, and I got lazy at the butterfly brooch, and i didn't clean up aloottt of my lines so its messy when you zoom in. :P

I really do recommend this fic, it's my favourite of all time and if you're into something long (it's >930k words at the time of writing this!), then this is for you!

@sophtopus, you might know me on ao3 from my comments and I wanted to say that I FREAKIN LOVE YOUR FIC SO MUCH!! I just had to have an outlet for my love, so I channeled it into this fanart and the many more to (hopefully) come!

I have a Redbubble now

I have some good news and some annoying news. I'll start with the annoying news first.

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to even get the chain of merchandize started. Since I live with my family, there's no space to store my merch. And since I live in Malaysia, shipping anywhere outside of South East Asia is prohibitively expensive.

The good news is that I finally got around to make a Redbubble account. You can now buy pysical merch from this print-on-demand store: sophtopolis.redbubble.com The artist royalty (the money I receive) will be between 10% to 30% (before tax), which is quite low compared to direct sales. Merch quality is also limited to whatever Redbubble stocks. But, they should be able to ship internationally in relatively good condition. They have pretty much everything, from t-shirts to phone covers to what have yous. I think pins, stickers,mugs  and blank books are a good place to start. So, I'll link them here. I'm not a comedy writer, and I don't think i can pull off the same thing as BHC. So I have a lot of respect for what you did.

I present to you, three pieces of fanart for @sophtopus/@sophtoart's fanfic, The Golden Quiche. It's the second Undertale fanfic I ever read and the fanfic that inspired me to start world-building for TWFOA! Beware of spoilers in the drawings and the stuff I say afterward!

As I said before, The Golden Quiche was the fanfic that inspired me. I was absolutely obsessed with it when I started to read it about 2 years ago. I actually spent a whole week of reading to catch up to the about a hundred and half chapters that were out at the time.

I still love the fanfic! And well, about the drawings, the first two are self-explanatory, I like Ludy Lucidia and her husband, Judge Mezil Thyme. They are OCs introduced in GQ and Lady Lucy is kinda a spoiler in herself. I was gonna draw more like Papyrus, Cenna and Frisk but as you can tell by the poor colouring. I'm not really in the mood to draw alot.

The last is well...the most spoiler of all the drawings. It's Sans Seraph.

'Gone was the casual slop. He’s wearing angel’s robes, true to form. It made his mended blue hoodie become a proper cowl.

Six wings of bone had sprouted from his back. A grand succession of plumage hung from the skeletal frames. On each, a motif of eyes adorned their vanes.

And then they…

….They blinked. That’s when a deep sense of horror smacked you across the head.

Every single ‘feather’ is a Seer’s Eye!

SANS SERAPH

The true ‘End Boss’ has finally reared its ugly head.'

This is his introduction in GQ. The seraphim arc is my favourite and least favourite arc of GQ. I like how it pushed everyone to their limits and how Sans is a 'desperate man with hope but no trust'. It encapsulates Sans's entire character throughout the arc. But well...It's my least favourite arc for the same reasons and it's a really long arc.

My favourite Sans would be the one after the crimson hall and seraphim arcs. (basically the magus organisation Sans) When he's just a neutral force working for the magus organisation. He's more like his usual 'canon' self and with something else. Maybe it's his strange work ethic or when he purposefully steps on people to incite reactions. I dunno, but I do like the Sans thats in the series right now.

I'll keep rambling about the story and the other characters if I could but I don't think I should. I'll save that for another day.
