Practice sketches for Our beloved King Magnifico 👑💛

I've fallen for this cute king recently 🥰 💞 How he could be just like a disney princess when singing "This is the Thanks I Get!?" among the armour suits! And the way he plays with his staff just like a child having fun... He totally called my attention all along in the movie! These are some sketches I practice drawing him, one in the way I draw disney characters and the other in my realistic style! It was so hard to draw a cute, strong, bold, brave man! But I'm glad I did it~ There are still so many cuteness of King Magnifico in the film that I want to draw! And the fact that disney didn't get the story perfect also makes me have so many ideas for him now 😂 That's why I never get art block, there are just so many to work on for my original stories and for those my fav characters who would keep coming into my life-

And I couldn't help it- I had been brainwashed by the toothless dance meme when I was doing this practice sketch, I gotta get this idea drawn 😆 Btw that green dragon is the forbidden magic itself from the Book of Spells.

I want to draw more of him and Queen Amaya as well! I love this royal couple-a cute king and a tender queen, and the cute couple vibe between them so much 🩷 I'd also love to see how they would have been- an evil royal couple, maybe like a Team evil queen and the magic mirror? 👑🎭 That must be interesting to draw too!

Just so many ideas popped up in my head after I watched the movie. I have a feeling this year is going to be for King Magnifico too 🫶

I love Delibird! They're fluffy and adorable 🥰 And their abilities kind of remind me of Turo when he doing the research- Vital Spirit and Insomnia. I guess Turo would have a Delibird in his past team (and the same goes with Sada and her Jigglypuff.)

I have some ideas about Turo and his Delibird☺️ can't wait to draw them having cute vibe together~

I watched the DLC2 trailer! I knew there was a place that underneath the zero lab or the time machine itself was the source of the tremendous tera crystal power, and there it is! Just can't wait to see what's going on there!

Hope Arven can see his passing parents and they can really say goodbye this time, maybe under that beautiful tree- I want to see the professors again and more Arven's family's story 🥺 😭🙏

A gift from Sada (*´∀｀*)♡ I had an idea that Turo was wearing something cute and Sada liked that, and then this sweater was suggested, so 🤭 Fun fact is that Sada thought Turo knew how to make Iron Bundle's eyes like that but Turo actually didn't. He just did it accidentally when he put on the sweater lol

What about an AU that they're dual-career couple who live apart? That would be so interesting! 🥰

#notdailyTuro100challenge Day 1 - Day 5 It's the challenge that my friend made for me. I was not sure if I could do a 100days challenge because it was hard for me to draw a pic a day, let alone for 100 days continuously, so he was like "why not do a not-daily one then?" and here we go LOL

It's a good way to keep updating something while I'm working on some commissions, though it nearly becomes a weekly challenge now. I feel like I do it with more and more details added 😂 They're supposed to be rough sketches! I should do it more quickly and make it more like a speed sketch challenge so that maybe I can really do it daily.

I didn't post them here when I completed each of them above because I thought it was better to post them together. But from Day 6 I'm going to post them as soon as they're done. Till I can really do the challenge daily- otherwise this site will be so quiet.

Well, this page is always like that, though. I guess.. And for this I really appreciate all your waiting and support! 💗💗

Anyway, I will keep doing my best to draw 100 pieces for Turo! Will draw some ideas that I'm gonna work on(I have so many ideas for him to draw!), and some pop-up cute ideas!

Btw everyone can do this challenge if feel like! I love Turo so much he needs more art! 🥺

I am SO pleased with how this turned out!! I commissioned @jmars-art to bring my vision to life of a personal headcanon of the professor being an avid journaler - and will be a future fic scene! JMars was professional and responsive as well as added great insight and recommendations to enhance my idea further - there's something really special when you can fine-tune ideas with other passionate artists and let creativity lead the way. The quality speaks for itself, and is truly stunning.

This will be a future scene for my current multi-ch fic, Cognitive Dissonance, which takes place post-canon during Arven's final year at Uva and is my story of writing Arven's journey towards closure that feels raw and real to me, while he navigates a new relationship that is jeopardized after the press finds out about the professor's fate.

After what feels like hitting rock-bottom and being forced into isolation in his dorm room, Clavell stops by and hands over to Arven all Turo's journals he was able to discreetly retrieve from Area Zero. Arven is quick to realize that many of the journals are not all research-focused and are personal diaries spanning years, even from before he was born. He gets a first-hand look at the inner thoughts of his father and insight and clarity over what happened to him over the years and the relationship with his absent mother.

This is part of an ongoing project I am doing by commissioning artists in the community/fandom to draw a scene from a select chapter. I am an advocate and supporter of the arts as a creative myself and wanted to try something that involves and supports other artists 😊 and also to keep myself motivated to keep writing 😅

Doing some figure study with Turo 🟪🌊

Not really getting used to draw male body, especially a slender one. Taking off rash guards or wetsuits is difficult to draw too! I know Turo's cybersuit is more like a drysuit, but I just want to do practices with him-

When I was drawing the first pic, I came up with a story like how he got hurt by Paradoxes, I guess I'll draw comics about it!

And when I first saw Turo in the game, I thought he was wearing some mechanical suit! I will also draw what that looks like in my mind in the next sketch part ✨

🥼🥼🥼❓ The little angel in the research lab 👼💛 I once saw a kid mistook his dad and held a friendly stranger’s hand instead, saying that he wanted to go home. And just a few weeks ago I watched a cute video about the similar thing a kid did and it made me recollect that. That's just so cute!🥰🥰 I think there'd be a period of time after Arven's birth that Turo/Sada would accompany him, bring him along anywhere he/she went, such as the Academy, the research lab, etc. So, maybe for some moments during this period, Arven would really be proud that his dad/mom was a famous genius. Clavell, Jacq, Turo/Sada- One giving us starter pokemons, one developing the Pokedex (app), one researching the mysteries of a region and pokemons... They do play a combination of the professor role just like the other gens' professors do, together. I just love this so much! 💗

🟪 Paradise 🐢🐍 The shading and the environment light of this piece is so hard to depict. Still thinking this could be better but that's all I've got now I guess. At least just looking at it I'm satisfied. 😇 That's probably the paradise the professor was looking into and embracing at his last living moment. I hope I convey the feels- beautiful yet cruel. Could the time machine itself be a part of Terapagos? The Paldea region looks like Terapagos, so if the whole region is Terapagos itself, the time machine(Area Zero) just located right on its back crown where maybe its power pours out of, bringing Paradox Pokemons to life. It's a concept that I draw this illustration for.

Plz tell me it's not only me when seeing the time machine up there operating, I feel deeply stunned and emotionally respect from the bottom of my heart. Because I know that magnificent great machine is invented by the man/woman who had worked hard their whole life just to fulfill the dream. 😢

I excitedly felt the need to draw this fusion mon with Turo right after I randomly fused it out. I called them Genedash. Just can't resist the future concept stuff 🔥 It was supposed to be a rough sketch but I made it a coloring practice in the end. That Turo you can see him again in my future sketches part, but holding a master ball instead. I really want to make an acrylic standee of Turo now 😂

The drawing for Valentine's Day 💝🍫 I want to know more about them besides them being just professors. They must be a tender loving couple 🧡💜 2/12 is フトゥオリの日 (Toru&Sada Day) if you pronounce it in Japanese. I posted the wip sketch on that day to participate in the drawing event that hosted by a Japanese mutual on Twitter.
