I edited the top stripe of the novarian flag so it contrasts better with the middle one! no hate to the original ofc, it was just bugging me that the two stripes looked like the same color.

I added the soleilian and luneilian flags.

I chose not to add their symbols though. I couldn't find a png of the symbols, and I didn't feel like making my own or trying to isolate it from the flag.

Galactian Alignment System

I (personally) have a lot of confusion about this system, but at the same time, I love it. I'm doing this post just to... understand it myself, I guess. I searched and these were my main resources: 1 | 2

Charts

Two charts were made by System-Mogai to show the relations between the terms. The original thought it had some misinformation is the most easily readable, as it has the names listed in their categories. The second chart, which contains most, if not all, of the current Galactian terms, has the symbols used on the flag to represent which term goes where and how they're related to each other.

Terms

There are 3 "main" terms: Lunarian, Solarian and Stellarian. And tons of combinations between there 3 and a 4th one (the gray "?" you can see in the second chart)

Lunarian - Female/fem/woman-aligned.

Solarian - male/man-aligned.

Stellarian - Unaligned or rejecting binary alignment.

The "?" - is like "something else" or "partially connected to"

Combos:

-- lunarian + stellarian = Nebularian - (aka Stellunarian) Either simultaneously unaligned/rejecting binary alignment and female/woman-aligned, or sometimes one or the other or both.

-- Neularian - refers to a gender alignment that is feminine in nature, but does not have any ties to femaleness or womanhood whatsoever.

-- lunarian + ? = Duskian - is like lunarian, except it’s like having a partial connection to lunarian.

-- solarian + ? = Dawnian - A partially masculine gender alignment; being partially solarian.

-- Soleilian - (aka Demi-solarian) is a combo of stellarian and dawnian.

-- solarian + stellarian = Novarian - (aka Solstellarian) Either simultaneously unaligned/rejecting binary alignment and male/man-aligned, or sometimes one or the other or both.

-- solarian + stellarian + ? = Solstian - (aka Demi-solstellarian) Solstian is to identify partially with male-aligned, partially identify with non-binary alignment, and partially identify with something else.

-- solarian + lunarian = Eclipsian - (aka Sollunarian) Either simultaneously male/man-aligned and female/woman-aligned, or sometimes one or the other or both.

-- solarian + lunarian + ? = Twilightian - (aka Demi-sollunarian) is to identify partially with male-aligned, partially identify with female-aligned, and partially identify with something else.

-- solarian + lunarian + stellarian = Galaxian - (aka Solstellunarian) Either simultaneously unaligned/rejecting binary alignment, male/man-aligned, and female/woman-aligned, or varying between the three.

-- lunarian + stellarian + ? = Equinoxian - (aka Demi-stellunarian) is to identify partially with female-aligned, partially identify with non-binary alignment, and partially identify with something else.

-- solarian + lunarian + stellarian + ? = Constellian - (aka Demi-solstellunarian) is to identify partially with male-aligned, female-aligned, non-binary alignment, and partially something else.

Exceptions:

Singularian - Rejecting any and all ties to binary genders without exception. Not really one of the galactian alignments and cannot be combined with any of the galactian alignments.

Aurorian - Fluidity between alignments. Aurorian is to identify as one alignment, that changes (fluidly or suddenly) to another alignment. What these alignments are doesn’t matter, but you can list them as well!

Marsic - Non-Binary attracted to Men, Man-Aligned NB, Solarians.

Venusic - Non-Binary attracted to Women, Woman-Align NB, Lunarians.

Terraric - Non-Binary attracted to Non-Binary and Stellarians.

Neptunic - attraction to women, and non-binary people. It can also be described as the attraction to all people except men and man aligned and/or masculine aligned non-binary people.

Uranic - the attraction to men, and non-binary people. It is the attraction to all people except women and feminine-aligned non-binary people.

Saturnic - the attraction to androgyne aligned non-binary people, saturnians, eclipsians, galaxians and celestarians, but not monogender men or women
