really fucking dreary when even the "plus sized" clothes dont come in your size. and like, i'm a relatively smaller fat, too, i can still squeeze into a medium tshirt (emphasis on squeeze) and i know so many people who are much bigger than me and it must be so much harder for them to find clothes. they are not making clothes for us! i fucking hate it here!!!!

People will be like "please buy from my shop to support a struggling queer artist" and I'll want to but the sizes will only go up to 2x.

Like I know it's their manufacturer, not necessarily their fault, but. They could also have found a manufacturer that went to larger sizes. I don't even have much difficulty finding indie designers that go up to 5x these days; clearly those manufacturers exist. There's enough that it can be quite literally all I buy.

It's just surreal and weirdly irritating to hear "please help me," go to help, and then get hit with the "no, not you."

I got to grab the meyoco waves skirt and i'm so excited to wear it aaaa!! I specifically bought it to match my favorite top and i'm so thrilled that I managed to snag one hehe >:3c thank you so much for making such amazing stuff <3 I know you get a lot of "will you make (x)" questions, so no pressure!! But would you ever consider making plus-size friendly thigh-highs with your designs on them? I know you've done socks but I'm not sure what all goes into doing something that would require a new pattern/fabric choice for comfort/printing/etc. Sorry if that's a stressful question!! It just seems like it'd fit well with the skirts to me aha ^^;

making thigh highs is very far outside our wheelhouse so i don’t think it’s something we will attempt any time soon, if ever. 😅 i know people have said good things about sockdreams and i think they have thigh highs, but i cannot personally give a review as i don’t wear thigh highs. snagtights, which i do wear and enjoy, has some faux thigh highs i think.

Success!! I darned my socks (which is the first time I've done it since I learned how as a kid)

I have a pair of @sockdreams gradient stripe socks I've had for a couple three years and they get worn a lot and they started to wear through at the back of the heel so I darned them with pink thread (if you can't match it perfectly then don't match it at all)

And an honorable mention for my makeshift darning egg (a burnt out light bulb in grand family tradition)

I like to imagine McPreggo is, beyond a kink establishment, also an establishment for exploration. I headcanon that the staff is used to shy, pre-everything trans women coming in semi-regularly and ordering a burger to get things started, a milkshake for cookies and cream milkshake to give them some curves, and just sitting for a while. They're visibly nervous but the employees can always tell that they're happier than they've been in a while.

I also imagine many of them stay regulars all through their transition, to the point that most of the staff know them and are massively supportive of every little change.

(sorry if this ask is outside the range of expectation, been tired and dysphoric and tbh fantasizing about a mcpreggo order helps more than I have the words for)

Oh I think this 100% fits the bill. I'm not sure if I wrote it down anywhere but I had a similar thought of trans women coming in before starting HRT to use some of the shakes and sides to let them "test drive" some body types, seeing how big they want to go for their boobs and hips, what have you. Kink set aside I think it's a really wholesome approach and use for it, and I'm 100% behind you. As a trans woman myself, I could use it for those purposes. I'm sure it's lowkey a hotspot for trans ladies all through their transitions to help them keep their goals in mind as they trudge through the slow process of HRT.

(I hope you can stave off the dysphoria blues and start feeling better soon. If you have some disposable income, I recommend investing in some thigh high socks. They're very comfy and gender affirming, and sockdreams has a lot of sizes for a lot of body types. 10/10 I recommend.)
