in these cozy cotton bootsocks. They were designed to be part of our Dreamer Socks line, created by Sock Dreams (conceived in Portland, OR and made in the USA). They're great for hiking, walking, lounging, procrastinating about hiking, etc.
This week's special is 20% off SD Cotton Bootsocks, today - Sunday 4/28 with the code LOVESOCKS.
After E. G. Smith stopped making socks, we spent years trying to create something similar to their cotton bootsocks. While these aren't an exact replica, we think they're a pretty great substitute. We love them for scrunching and slouching, but they're elasticized, so they'll also stay up if you want to wear them as knee highs. Like the socks that inspired them, these are made in the USA.
@woolytoyhorse replied to your post “These yellow silk breeches were technically my...”:
The breeches are utterly fabulous; please also tell us about your socks (/hose?)?
They're the O Chevrons from @sockdreams!
It looks like they don't currently have them in off white white like the ones I'm wearing, but they do have the longer version of the same design in that colour.
Sword of Damocles 🗡️ Shirt by my friend Oakthorn Studios, socks from Sock Dreams, boots Demonia. Featuring some of my art & knickknacks in the background 🪦
Success!! I darned my socks (which is the first time I've done it since I learned how as a kid)
I have a pair of @sockdreams gradient stripe socks I've had for a couple three years and they get worn a lot and they started to wear through at the back of the heel so I darned them with pink thread (if you can't match it perfectly then don't match it at all)
And an honorable mention for my makeshift darning egg (a burnt out light bulb in grand family tradition)
Today only (Feb. 15th), we're putting most of our website on sale, 20% off! No code needed. (some restrictions apply)
