as much as i loved university, few months after i finished my 8 years of studies (2 x bachelor's degree, 1 x master's) i still can't get used to having actual free time when i don't have to worry about having to write an essay or study for an exam. like, i work normal hours and then i'm free to do what i want. i don't have to do part-time work during the weekends so it's a time off for me. i'm not constantly stressed out about having to do something or not doing enough or even not having enough money, since i'm finally working full-time. i know it seems like such a normal thing but it really is mind-blowing to me.

#it's not that i love my job #i was actually recently rejected while applying for what would be close to my dream job #so that sucked #but just the way i am free to do what i want after i finish my job... awesome feeling #personal #shut up nat

Yes, Greece still exists, we didn't all die 2000 years ago. Yes, people speak Greek. You people are so fucking stupid for real. So many of you claim to love ancient shit but can't even acknowledge the actual living culture of the people whose mythology and classics you romanticize. You keep leaving annoying comments about how you just forget Greek people still exist, thinking you're being quirky because you love ancient stuff soooo much that you forgot about the people it came from. You think about it so little you don't even realize that an actual Greek person has to read this shit, making it clear how little you actually care about the culture beyond the romanticized (and westernized) mythology. Don't claim you love Greece, don't use our mythology anymore if you can't acknowledge that we're still around without making it about how little you think about us. just out of curiosity bc some people I know with glasses can just go a few hours or a day without them and be chill but I need them on all the time or I’ll go crazy
