One of my readers made this beautiful collage inspired by my fic Yours First. I'm in LOVE with it, so much that I needed to share this artwork with the fandom. When I saw it in my inbox I was floored at how it completely captured the spirit of the story. I can't stop looking and reading and just reveling in this wonderful surprise.

A million thanks to @skymidala for this gift. Not only did every quote resonate, but all the little pictures give us a glimpse of the incredible love shared between Jon and Dany. From childhood to parenthood, this collage represents all their sweet moments behind the scenes. I just stare at it and am flooded with nostalgia for my sweet babies and all their yearning and angst and love.

It was always interesting that Richas was the only egg that didn't have a designated adoption space. Tallulah had her attic and Pomme her little wall room but Richas seemed to come out of Dapper's space in the adoption center. #wip #my art #so many little details #apologies for the repeat WIP but my shoulder is fucked atm so progress is slow #This is the armour design for an order called the Shimmer Shields in my homebrew setting #I'll write more about them later but the basics is that in a city as nurturing of magic users as Novo-Mellior is #there was a need for a way to keep those magic users in check since your average city guard wasn't the best suited to handle rogue casters #and so the Shimmer Shields were created and trained in all the intricacies of magic without being actual casters #Also I know it's a long shot but if anyone happens to have any questions about my silly little setting do feel free to send an ask #no better way to worldbuild than by having to answer questions about it #and if applicable i might do a little sketch to go with it c:

With that anon taken care of, Magnet can at last try on those boots in peace. No, there was nothing wrong with his height, thank you very much!

Donning a sleek new pair of platform boots, Magnet stands triumphantly. Finally, this day would mark the end of all those height jokes. Finally, Magnet could at last be the one looking down upon others, instead of always being the one to look up at everyone. He laughs in glee, basking in the glory of it all.

The glory lasts for but a single second. As soon as he lifts a foot to take a step forward, he very quickly becomes aware of the sheer height difference between himself and the floor beneath him. He smiles wryly. This is nothing! A simple pair of boots can’t defeat him! No, Magnet will not be taken down so easily! He takes another wobbly, but determined, step forwards. Another step towards glory! Another step towards-

i like to think that the tentacles in dungeon meshi are kinda like mushrooms or perhaps even lichens in that they are very confusing to identifty and have 200 completely different species that look very similar ("delicious brown tentacle vs BROWN DEATH TENDRIL") and you need to be an Expert to determine the difference between some of the more confusing species and some of them have like 300 different sexes and some of them are actually composite creatures composed of several different species and somehow yeast is involved and also no one really knows half of whats going on with them and in like 50 years someones gonna figure out that uhm actually these are two completely different types of tentacle creatures that arent related like at All they jusf happen to look similar and oh btw that one common house mold is actually a tentacle

I noticed something really REALLY cool about Legends arceus while looking up references, and it's so little, I don't know how many other folks have noticed it!!

The pokedex you get at the beginning of your journey;

Perfect, crisp and brand new! So many pages to fill! Untouched by anyone ever, the first to ever exist! The original pokedex.

But at the end, with a completed pokedex;

The title of the book is all ripped and damaged! It's been through so many surveys and treks out in hisui's wilderness! The edges of the blue cover are faded and dulling, maybe got wet a few times with run ins with outbreaks, being jostled around in a pack exploring around the region. The black binder holding it together after all this time is equally as banged up, probably barely keeping the stuffed pages inside safe and tucked away, but still doing its job.

This is the first ever pokedex, this is the one that began the understanding of pokemon as we know it, bringing humans and pokemon together as friends in the distant future. Before technology advanced and made the pokedex we were first introduced to in Kanto so many years ago.

It's falling apart and has been waterlogged a few times, it's recorded so much and survived raging lords, hordes or pokemon, alphas, an exile, gods of time and space, a banished deity, and faced almighty sinnoh.

And it was written, filled out, carried and protected all this time, by a kid who did their best to help the professor who first met them in Hisui.

And it survived.

I was a little nervous implementing them. When I detail the hands- just know shits getting real #I'm really happy with how I was able to redraw Toriel here.
