Writing a fic (in my new valinor series) where Maglor tries to counsel Elwing and Earendil on how to approach Elrond in Valinor, given he does not wish to see any of them (nor maglor), and in the middle of Maglor's counsel session Elwing and Earendil get into a nasty verbal argument and bring up dirt on each other from the past. "You're a bad mother and wife! your father nor great grandfather could even rule you're all soo greedy!" "You're a bad ruler and an awful husband and father you abandoned us! your parents didn't even care about you enough to stay with you."

and maglor knows he should step in but he blinks and it's like suddenly he sees elros and elrond arguing with one another and it's so nostalgic for him so he lets them curse one another out just to feel like the twins are with him again. then things start breaking and they start saying some inappropriate stuff about him, that's when he steps in.

maglor doesn't believe what any of them are saying about one another is true, but sometimes he has to let people argue things out.

#then maglor is like #elwing and earendil arent together but they are both friends with maglor #earendil is actually with maglor #and they wanna make a trio to see elrond again #he doens't hate any of them he's just truamatized tm #and elwing herself is dealing with alcoholism and depression and that worries maglor--she doesn't talk to dior because she hates him #so it's just a mess all around #this is the same fic where maglor is a hermit in the woods and where earnedil is depressed #they are all going thru it #elwing is elros to the core #earnedil is elrond #and like elwing is an elf so the alcohol isn't gonna do shit #but she's also part human so it makes her very tired and slow all the time #when she goes over she goes straight to the wine cellar so maglor locks them #earnedil runs away from his problems #maglor is like before we go to elrond we need to fix our unit #expeditiously #he is also running from his issues too tho all his brothers have it out for him #they star saying inappropriate stuff about maglor like #elwings like 'he probably fakes pleasure when you fuck him because god knows you can't do that rightokay that's enough"#before earendil can respond

#poorly drawn mdzs #mdzs #wei wuxian #lan wangji #jin guangyao #qin su #The parallels to the mulderskully comic were genuine scripting coincidences that I kept in for the irony.#wwx and mulder both have a strong need to show their beloved (investigation) partner the cool thing they just found.#Much to their chagrin and concern.#For as much of a mess the plot gets in The Untamed...one of the things it does probably the best of all adaptions is setting up JGY.#specifically how we spend time getting to know him as a *Regular Guy* around our deuteragonists' age.#I love how he's present in the cloud recess arc! I was rooting for him as a character! The twist villain reveal felt so heartbreaking!#Here in the audio drama (for as much as it does well) we pretty much get 2 scenes tops with this guy before he's villain monologuing.#before this we know him as 1) the guy NMJ yelled at a lot 2) a suspect 3) leader guy Jin Ling was partially raised by.#The elements are there but but not with any particular depth to make him...interesting (in this version).#Sure we get to learn more after the fact but it just falls so flat in comparison B*/#ohhhh noooo the guy we are pretty sure killed a guy is gaslighting his wife and has a secret torture chamber. And he's a politician.#not much of a mystery to it all innit.#Feel free to disagree or bring up differing points btw; I love media analysis convos and this truly is just my opinion.

Photos at Madrid's Victory ball! 💃

We attended our first ball! It was such a dreamlike experience!! It was also our first time doing Regency reenactment so it was a challenge. We haphazardly put together some looks, had a great time learning more about the fashion and the dances and met a bunch of lovely people from all over the world. The palace was stunning, the live band was wonderful and the food delicious, it was an unforgettable night 🥰

Tim was four days into a sleep deficit so he felt that to say that this predicament was his fault was a bit of a reach.

For it to be his fault he would have had to cognizant of the last 16 hours.

All he wanted to do was take a power nap in the nearest closest durring the Waynetech gala but nooo Bruce had to be taken hostage by the Joker.

So he did what he thought would work best and shoved uncle Clark into the nearest emergency bat storage and told him to suit up.

Maybe he looked a bit more confused than normal but they didn’t need a reporter they needed Batman!

That being said wasn’t uncle Clark supposed to be off-world?

Oh no.

Jack honestly had no clue what was happening for the last six months so when he was told to be Batman he merely just shrugged as the frankly exhausted teen left him to his own.

With his son turning out to be part ghost to the government hunting down his said son and having to move shop halfway across the continent.

This might as well happen.

Grinning like a kid on Christmas, Jack plopped on the finishing touch.

“Oh Danno is not going to believe this!”

Raising a cloaked arm with a flourish Jack struck a pose.

“Alrighty Jack enough messing around! Time to save the party, Fenton style!

Shifting his feet, Jack took a deep breath before smoothing his face the best he could. After all, couldn’t have a smiling Batman! Before walking out the room and taking running leap through the wall to the streets of Gotham before grappling to the nearest building.

#this is the one time the media suspects that Superman had taken Batman’s place #that night has quite an interesting story #with several highlights like #Jack taking out half a block of electricity with a batarang #jack messing up his grapple twice #several walls suddenly gaining a Fenton sized hole #and Jack unleashing a whole pack of eco-weenies on several thugs #all while the batfam is desperately trying to find Jack and save their dad at the same time #jack actually does save Bruce and bridal carries him throughout Gotham before leaving him on roof of the gala #writing prompt #dp x dc #I kept most of the Fenton family as vague as I could so you guys could make your own conclusions #why was Jack at the gala? Why it was to honor him of course #he has just changed the game for clean energy #and blew the entire secrecy around GIW while he was at it #writing prompts

I noticed on some of ur artworks (specifically the unique magic posters), that u have a textured look to em, like paper or grain ... i wanted to ask how u get that effect? is it a brush, a filter, or like an overlay/png u use ... ? pls tell me!! ;v; I really like how the texture looks, so i wanted to know how 2 do it since ure a very big inspo 2 me LAWL ... I've been doing art practices in diff styles i find, so, i wanted to know a bit more how you do it :^D

thank you! :D :D :D it's usually photos/textures of paper that I've messed around with; I have a bunch of free/paid/ones I took myself. anytime I see good photos of paper I add it to the collection...it is my weakness. 😔

I mostly use Photoshop, but this should work in any program that supports blending modes (also I did this in like an hour to use as an example, please forgive it :')

then mess around with the blending mode to see how it looks -- in this case I went with overlay, but soft light and hard light are usually good ones too, it really depends on the texture:

then with a bunch of messing around with opacity/colors/saturation/levels/adding in a bit more texture until I like how it looks:

#art #twisted wonderland #it's a general tutorial i guess but just cause it's grim #usually i end up using a couple different papers on top of each other with bits masked out/levels super messed with and the like #it is super fun to just mess around with and throw things on and see how they look!#but it is also very easy to waaaay overdo so uhhhh exercise caution i guess. less is often more and all #once you start layering textures on there it's just difficult to stop #dangit art stop being so fun #(this also tends to screw with your colors and values a lot so always check and adjust as you go!)#(if you don't want any color influence at all you can just turn the saturation of the paper layer all the way down so it's pure grayscale)

I’m in love with how they are giving so many subtle hints about Alhaitham and Kaveh’s relationship and how important it is to Alhaitham, despite the way they always seem to be bickering.

Throughout the 3.2 archon quest Alhaitham tells us that the reason why he is so interested in helping Sumeru is because he doesn’t want his daily life to change. After that Kaveh starts being mentioned very frequently by him or we hear other people in the akademiya complain about how they daily argue.

Then, of course, we meet them both arguing with each other in the House of Daena, which was quite the argument. We also know many of their casual interactions and how they go to the café/bar frequently together. Furthermore, Alhaitham pays all of Kaveh’s bills (something no one would do for someone they don't care for).

And now, during Alhaitham’s quest, their tones were so soft (At least in JP and CN) and also domestic. Kaveh seems to worry a lot about Alhaitham and exchanges glances with him, which made me melt inside. I also love how Alhaitham is constantly smiling while bickering with kaveh. Remember, we dont see him smiling like this that often. Which means he really enjoys it. I really liked how after the second time Kaveh asked him if he is okay, he replied with a tease about the painting Kaveh had mentioned before. Also smiling.

But most importantly, something I see no one talking about: the moment when Alhaitham was explaining why he resigned from being the Grand Sage to being the scribe again and he tells us that “It’s important to keep your priorities straight”, the camera points at Kaveh.

I know this game will probably never have any canon ship because they need to make everyone happy, but we do get hints like this from time to time and I think this was one of them.

After all, why would they bother to add all of those scenes with Kaveh when the quests had already concluded, if not for showing us how is what is Alhaitham’s daily life he wants to protect that much? We saw how happy he is, how eager he was to get home and go have dinner with Kaveh. We also see how Kaveh had been waiting for him as well.

I’d like to know more about their relationship, even if it ends up not being romantic (though how do you explain that face Kaveh made when paimon asked if they are friends).
