I was seriously so excited to play with Growing Together, but I have so many families, I didn’t know which one to choose! Of course, @down-in-simsland sharing a bunch of fantastic houses a couple weeks ago only made me take even longer to pick since I just HAD to move some of my own households there.

The spiders in my bedroom have got me so well-trained. Today I noticed that Harold II had moved from his perch in the corner to sit beside the window again (which he hasn't done since Wednesday evening when the heatwave finally let up), and it struck me as odd.

But lo and behold, it's too warm tonight, so I had to open the window, and he's just sitting there smugly on his second web, like it's his summer home.

The most upsetting part is, there haven't been any flying bugs in my room all summer, so he must be doing something right.

#Harold II #Harold I fucked off earlier this year #hopefully not to have babies bit idek #we had a fruitfly infestation in spring time so i made a pact with the spiders and they've mostly behaved themselves #there's one at the foot of my bed rn and I'm like #Maisie it truly is a sign of the times we're living in that I'm letting you have such a prime piece of real estate #because only 3 months ago I would have been too terrified to sleep with you standing there #but I guess through accidental exposure therapy I'm now more tolerant of spiders?#there was one in the fridge the other day and i almost scooped it up in my hands without hesitation #and then i remembered I had arachnophobia #but the guys in my room are my pals and they pay rent through fruit-fly eating #though i will say things are getting a little too lax around here because they let a fruit fly drown itself in my glass of water last week #and another one earlier today #smh #slackers #spiders tw #arachnophobia #bugs #rambling in the tags #please do rb I wanna know what/if you name your spiders

David, Esmeralda & Aladdin - The Slackers 😝🥱🎧🚬🍺

David Kawena is a skater boy who often sleeps in class. His passion is surfing, skating, swimming and hanging out with his friends. He’ll sometimes smoke to look cool but he actually hates the taste of it. He lives in Sulani and has a part time job as a life-guard.

Aladdin doesn’t care at all about school, thinking it’s just a waste of time. While in class he’s the class clown and prankster, most times he’s just ditching. He has to work to pay for his tiny apartment in San Myshuno, although most times he has to resort to stealing because he spends too much on weed. Actually, he’s been caught so many times stoned in class that he actually got kicked out of school!

Esmeralda doesn’t care too much about studying because her dream is to become an actress. She’s already in the Drama Club. She truly cares about the wellness of her friends and even joins Pocahontas in her protest against injustices. Her and Aladdin have been a couple for such a long time, and when he got kicked out of school, she decided to support him and quit as well to fully focus in her acting career. Unlike David, she is addicted to nicotine.
