my awoken evil risen warlord in canon destiny armor and fantasy au too... her name is Skkathie, when she was human she was Skaði. backstory under the cut

Also, recommended music that basically was the reason why i made her: The Magician by Æther Realm (please, i adore the lyrics and they are the sole base for her dnd backstory)

CANON DESTINY BACKSTORY: One of the original Yang Liwei passengers; after awakening, she was an Eccaleist who believed in words of Diasyrm, and she fought and died in Theodicy War. One of her siblings survived, and they felt like they owe a debt to their family for dying for such causes, so they carried their family back from Distributary and planned to bury them on Earth. After arriving back to regular universe, Skatthie was Risen by a ghost as soon as possible. The ghost (later named Vetle after her sibling, but she didn't remember that) believed her to be a savior and steady hand to fight back the remaining warlords, and help the City. But she wasn't risen the way the guardians usually are, for her feelings about betrayal from queen Alis Li, the memories of her being human, and turning into an Awoken aboard the ship were so strong, she still seethed with rage and disappointment enough to recall her life before death. She did not know why she's not in Distributary, nor could she remember her family, so she fled. She fled to Earth, to a familiar place, after travelling around Mars, Mercury and Venus, and other previous homes of Traveler, but she only felt at home on Earth, with the terraformed and completely changed Denmark, where she was born. Her steady hand was true, and she became a warlord, quite late for her time, but cruel and not caring. She hated Traveler for resurrecting her, and she hated him for interfering with Yang Liwei, and she hated Mara Sov for the way awoken we born, and for the lies about eccaleism and Alis Li.

She refused the Traveler and his Light, only learning bare minimum to survive, she never mastered a subclass or element. She was risen with a burning sword in her hand, and it was the only weapon she used for years. She then learned invisibility from hunters, she altered the titan shield to become a burning shield with her sword, and she learned to consume void from other warlocks, but she never needed them as her fire was strong enough.

After being confronted by Iron Lords, Felwinter the Oathbreaker including, she modified her ghost to have "less personality" and left for Europa. She met the House of Salvation there, and appealed to them, proving herself in combat and in will, and was given Stasis power behind Eramis' back. Atraks, her friend, helped her master it, and she felt like the ice was the only element she needed to wield, so she abandoned her Light. She has learned stasis abilities of all classes.

Ultimately, she does not believe all Guardians should die and does not seek their end, but she will not answer or bow to the Traveler.

FANTASY/D&D AU BACKSTORY: A drow born into a family-commune of sorcerers, she was born with unusual talent and high spirit and soul, capable of great things. She did not fit in, and was an outcast and not-equal to the rest, so she refused to learn to use spells the way her family does. They attempted to force her into this, for such talent cannot be wasted and the help she could do with healing, warmth in the ice-cold north they lived in, and foresight she could perceive future with, they were not willing to let this go to waste.

She burned a pyre into the village, instantly killing people close to her, and scarring the ones further, and ran away to seek true power.

She sought an elemental plane of ice, further north, and after many failures to even get their attention, she met a jötunn, one of the Ice Giants, who was willing to listen to her. He happened to be a speaker for a divine power, and he took her to his gods, ancient giants who have ascended to be the most powerful, and one of the Ice Gods granted her new power and new way to use it, with promise of her bringing upon the Ragnarok. She swore her soul, and found her arms getting carved with runes. She could no longer feel frost and cold, and she found frozen crystals to naturally develop and manifest on her clothes, and on her hands. Her first act was to bring bloody and cruel revenge on her place of birth, and left no one alive.

Haunted House - Anything you have wanted to write but have been too scared to try?
