Newer blog followers- sorry for the random update of a story from two years ago. My reasons are below the cut if you want to know why.

Splunge Sheep: Once upon a time, this artist was neck-deep in a storyline she wanted to complete so she could move onto other projects. But she kept getting new things to add to it to made the story last longer, and she wasn't fast enough to update quicker than weekly.

In her desperation to get it done faster, she asked another dear artist friend to help her. She would rough out the comic panels like she usually did, and he only needed to finalize the pictures. With god-like generosity he agreed to help her, and together they managed to get two comics posted a week instead of one.

But while the original artist was used to managing her schedule around weekly updates, her kind friend was not. The pace made something that used to be a fun thing to do in his free time a chore.

The first comic he did got posted a day after the one she did. The next comic took longer, and the first artist was forgiving- he was doing her a big favor, right? But eventually it got to the point where she had the following week's comic ready to post, but he had not finished the previous' week comic yet.

She could not post the comics out of order- the comics were linear in story, after all. So she tried to ask gently when he would finish. The comic he had been working on- this very comic- was only half finished, but he posted it anyway.

The original artist finally realized how stressed out she had made her friend, and told him that she'd rather see it done right rather then with speed. He could take as long as he wanted to draw it! In the meantime, she'd update by herself.

But alas, the way he had saved it had meant he could no longer edit it. He would have to start from the beginning to finish this comic. So the page went on a semi-permanent hiatus- until the original artist came back years later to do it herself. ^^;

But yeah, I'm trying to summarize the ending to this storyline, and having this page not finished before I did that didn't feel right, so there you go! ^^;

Blade who travels across the universe, goes to your planet, breaks into your home, and wakes you up in the middle of the night because you sent him a 💀 emoji and he thought it was a code you were dying.

"Mm...? Blade...? Wha why are you here??"

And all he does is shove your text on his phone really close to your face.

And then you have to explain to him not everything you do is a code that you're in danger and need him to come save you.

(All the stuff you say goes in one ear and goes out the other, because the next time you do the same thing, he's already at your window with his sword in hand ready to fight.)
