देहरादून 28 जून 2023 / वित्त मंत्री डॉ0 प्रेमचंद अग्रवाल ने विधान सभा स्थित कार्यालय कक्ष में लोक निर्माण विभाग द्वारा ऋषिकेश श्यामपुर फाटक पर लगने वाले जाम से निजात को नेपाली फार्म से खाराश्रोत तक किये जा रहे सड़क निर्माण के कार्यों के सम्बन्ध में समीक्षा बैठक ली।

मंत्री ने कहा कि श्यामपुर फाटक पर आये दिन ट्रेनों के आवागमन के समय जाम की स्थिति बनी रहती है, और ऋषिकेश-कर्णप्रयाग रेल लाइन का निर्माण कार्य पूर्ण हो जाने पर यहां की स्थिति और अधिक विकट होगी। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को निर्देशित करते हुए कहा कि जल्द से जल्द इस श्यामपुर फाटक प्रोजेक्ट पर कार्य प्रारंभ करने में शीघ्रता लायी जाए। जिससे आम जनमानस सहित स्थानीय लोगों को जाम की समस्या व इसके चलते होने वाली समस्या से निजात मिल सके।

डॉ अग्रवाल ने बताया कि भारत सरकार के सड़क परिवहन व राजमार्ग मंत्रालय से इस प्रोजेक्ट के लिए सैद्धान्तिक सहमति भी मिल चुकी है साथ ही उन्होंने बताया कि इससे पूर्व श्यामपुर फाटक पर रेलवे का ट्रैक 15 मीटर तक चौड़ा किया जाएगा। जिसका औरत 6 माह में पूर्ण किया जाएगा।

मंत्री ने कहा कि नेपाली फार्म से खाराश्रोत तक छह लेन सड़क निर्माण का काम किया जायेगा तथा श्यामपुर फाटक पर ओवर ब्रिज बनाया जायेगा। यही नहीं श्यामपुर फाटक पर ही अंडर पास भी बनाया जाएगा, जिससे स्थानीय लोग आवागमन कर सकें। उन्होंने कहा कि केन्द्र सरकार द्वारा इस प्रोजेक्ट के संबंध में विस्तृत चर्चा की जा रही है। मंत्री ने कहा कि मा0 सड़क परिवहन एवं राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग मंत्री, भारत सरकार नितिन गडगरी जी को उनकी ओर से अवगत कराया गया था। इस प्रोजेक्ट पर विशेष रूचि दिखाते हुए अपनी सहमति दी है। मंत्री ने कहा कि आगामी 10 जुलाई 2023 को नई दिल्ली में इस प्रोजेक्ट को लेकर बैठक की जायेगी। जिससे प्रोजेक्ट के निर्माण कार्य में गति आयेगी।

उन्होंने कहा कि नेपाली फार्म से खाराश्रोत तक के इस प्रोजेक्ट का बहुत ही महत्व है क्योंकि यह रू�� चारधाम यात्रा, कांवड़ यात्रा तथा ऋषिकेश-हरिद्वार में त्योहारों के समय होने वाले गंगा स्नान में श्रद्धालुओं के लिए विशेष महत्वपूर्ण है।

इस अवसर पर सचिव लो0नि0वि0 डॉ. पंकज पाण्डेय, क्षेत्रीय अधिकारी, सड़क परिवहन एवं राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग, भारत सरकार दीपक शर्मा तथा अन्य अधिकारीगण उपस्थित रहे।
