This is my outrageously talented friend Jess Lane. Beyond her existing credits of Comedian, Director, Writer, Cool Lady, Excellent Friend and many other enviable skill sets, she can now add Sick Musician to her ever-expanding resume. WHY DO WE USE METRICS TO DESCRIBE OUR GUITAR PICKS:⁣ ⁣ What we call "metrics" or "parameters" are the main attributes that describe a concrete aspect of the guitar pick, like flexibility, attack, or tone.⁣ ⁣ There are millions of ways of manufacturing or designing a pick and lots of areas come together: material, tip sharpness, thickness, size, shape, textures, ...⁣ ⁣ The best way to check if a pick is suitable for you and your playing style is by testing it. However, sometimes is very difficult for players to describe what they are looking for because the range of tonalities and sound textures is one of the most subjective areas in music.⁣ ⁣ With simple parameters and additional information about the geometry (size, thickness, shape,...) we hope you are able to understand the pick before you test it.
