These Havelis have some really fine & some really crazy frescoes. It is said that Shekhawati is the world's biggest Open Art Gallery in the World. Shekhawati region in Rajasthan is known for grand Havelis built by the business families, who moved to Kolkata in 19th century for better business prospects. These Havelis, mostly built in 19th century, were also famous for murals & fresco. I came across this interesting painting at Mandawa in Shekhawati region. The Goddess Ganga is riding a crocodile.
