Inspired by @xiacodes @codemom @anndcodes
I signed up for SheCodes! Can’t wait for 2024 🤍💻
I choose the max workshop for 3 reasons
1- I get a discount of 15% because i attend the free class (the owner explained everything about the coding and the site)
2- I wanted to buy monthly so it’s cheaper to get MAX even tho I will actually pay more in the long run. But I want to be pro in something.. I have a lot of ideas and I hope I can make at least some of them.. I want to be able to build sites that help people but also help me financial
3- learning how to code was my dream long time ago, and now at the age of 32 I finally decided to follow it.. i will no longer run from it..
And lastly, i just cleaned my linkedin. I haven’t uploaded anything interesting. I just clean it so i could later on share all my certifications and hopefully find a job that’s need me ✨ (of course if no one need me i will just do stuff online)

Old project in SheCodes
Tumblr media
Friday 1st September 2023
Coming to the end completing week 4 of the Plus course and it said I have to go back to "last week's homework" and build on it... but for me 'last week' was a whole year ago, so I started panicking "oh my goodness I don't know where I saved the file?!" I look at Week 3's page and I saved the link on there to the CodeSandBox.io site and it's all there! I don't know if I want to redo do it or add changes or just leave it as it is 🤷🏾‍♀️ But it's okay for now!

I'm thrilled to share that I recently completed the SheCodes Basic workshop and earned my certificate! 🎉 This immersive online program provided such a great introduction to web development concepts and skills.
Over the workshop, I gained so much useful knowledge about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The hands-on coding challenges let me apply what I was learning in a practical way. I'm proud of all the web pages, interactions and animations I coded from scratch!
I'll be starting the SheCodes Plus where we'll dive deeper into HTML. CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and more! Although I still can't decide if I want to be a Frontend Developer or go the Fullstack way😑.
Here is a link to my final Basic project:

100 Days of code 💻✨
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Day 51 - 58
Remember when i said i will start it next year? I just couldn’t wait any longer so i change the date 😂
Today is the 2nd of SheCodes and I enjoy it way more than I thought! Glad I didn’t wait longer.
Also i stoped python and cs50 for now because I don’t want to be overwhelming.
I already study 2 another things beside coding.
You know burnout is the worst possible thing and I suffered from it for more than a year!
How is everyone coding journey so far?

Finishing SheCodes
Tumblr media
Friday 1st September 2023
Oh my goodness me! It's already September! The year has gone by so fast, it's unbelievable to me!
Anyhoo, last night as I was watching WWE, I just suddenly remembered "Oh I have a SheCodes account! So I check on it and I never finished it!" The last time I was on/studied for it was back in November 2022 and I think the reason why I stopped the studying was because I had the end of apprenticeship going on and the Frontend bootcamp to attend to so I left this aside... (¬з¬)
But I decided let me just finish it off, it also has a React.js course so that will come in handy now since I'm learning about it now!
Tumblr media
My biggest inspiration for joining SheCodes in the first place was because of  Mili.Codes on Instagram who I watched from 100 followers to now having 100k+ followers and she’s progressing so much. She started around the same time I did with my apprenticeship. She's a completely frontend developer, my dream job, so ff she can do it, so can I~!

Masterschool enrolment...
So I've taken a risk, and I've enrolled with Masterschool for Software Engineering. It begins in January and I have to pay tuition fees once I get a job, which is definitely something I can do. I certainly couldn't afford it straight up, so I'm happy that I can pay once I get a job. Unfortunately it does revolve around Python, however I think I should be able to transfer what I learn to other object-orientated programming. Wish me luck!! Until then, I'll continue my learning with SheCodes and Udemy...

I finally fixed up my notion!!! I've added some more widgets and some images from Pinterest. I've also finally figured out how to make an organised gallery and for once it with pictures I've taken myself when going on food trips. I did most of it at 1 in the morning and the rest I've been editing now. I still have a lot to add but this is good progress.
I also attended a live webinar for SheCodes where I got to learn more about pursuing web development and learning a programming language. I'm not dead set on a career in this field but I think it would be a good back up plan/ side hustle in order to grow my income. I also am looking at doing other courses to improve my repertoire.
I also almost finished my HTML course too!! I need to finish the last task and see if I can get a certificate or some sort of evidence of my learning.
