I've shared these on my Instagram, but I also wanna share them here b/c I'm pretty proud of my plushies and I spent a lot of time on them at the end of last year! More details n words below the cut!!!

With the simple little dino plushie done, I immediately jumped to an incredibly complicated unicorn plushie for my niece! A year or two ago? I made her a different unicorn plushie and she still has it when we visited my cousin's place! Except the eyes have fallen off, so I wanted to make a different kind with embroidered eyes so that didn't happen! And my niece likes playing dress up with her dolls so I wanted to make more dresses, but again, I picked the most complicated one and so only one dress was done in time for Christmas and even then I think I messed it up xD;

It's okay though; despite the legs n wings n how buff she looks, my niece adores the doll very much!!! I think she called her Princess Purple at the time! And you know for my first time with this, it wasn't that bad at all! I should really give myself more credit quq

So for the last 2 months I've fixated on doing redesigns based somewhat loosely on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I've had so much fun filling in the gaps and extrapolating until my version is less of a redesign and more of an AU.

thought i might attempt to start off strong with my mlp infection au

this is still a pretty big WIP, especially with all of the characters. i've been very thorough with how i want things to go, so i've been taking my time with it.

stuck with a sketchier style bc it fit the vibe of what i wanted so well

MY LITTLE CATASTROPHE : SPIKE AND TWI

!!!TW: DESCRIPTIONS OF GORE!!! "Dear Princess Celestia, I have made a grave mistake, and my judgement is no longer sound. I have ruined everything. I am in search of a cure for what I have created. It cannot be destroyed. Normal magic cannot undo what I have done. He is gone, but maybe I can save the others. I am sorry that this letter has not been sent to you in a timely fashion. He is gone. I had to send this letter via pony mail. Please forgive me for all I have done. Friendship is not strong enough to save us. My friends have abandoned me. They know what I have done. Your faithful student, your failure, Twilight Sparkle."

Between all of the commotion of Sombra's defeat and Twilight's ascension as an alicorn, no one was quick to notice a very important missing person. As soon as Twilight realized her favorite baby dragon was not there to greet her and celebrate, she felt sick to her stomach. Where was he? Spike was found by Cadence. He was delivered to Twilight wrapped in her large pink wings, wounded beyond what could be saved. He was already dead when he was found. Her baby dragon was gone.

No amount of friendship or comfort could console the new princess. She laid with her body curled around Spike, and her cries filled the courtyard for hours. It took two days for her to move from that spot and head home towards Ponyville, where Spike would be buried in front of her home. But she could not bare the thought. Spike could not be gone, not forever.

When she returned home, she holed up in her tree house. The doors locked, the curtains covered the windows, and there was nothing but silence. Twilight worked tirelessly for hours, using magic to preserve her baby dragon's body long enough to find a spell that would erase what happened. Spike would not be dead for much longer. The power of friendship and love would bring him back to life. It had to.

She explained to her friends that if they used the Elements of Harmony, theoretically, he could be revived. They had their reservations. No one thought it was a good idea...but Rainbow Dash talked them into trying. Twilight was hurting, she needed her friends to be there for her. However, their attempts were in vein. Spike was not revived.

Despite their failed attempts, Twilight remained stubborn and persistent. She could not let this happen. Spike could not be gone. Everyone was starting to worry about her, but no amount of convincing could change her mind. They refused to continue trying. They did not believe in her and that made her very angry.

Returning into hiding, Twilight's determination became concrete. She did not sleep, she barely ate. Dash visited frequently, while the others had resolved that Twilight needed time and space. She was the only reason the princess ate anything at all. Twilight soon caught reference to a spell in one of her books. This spell was in a particular book in Canterlot's library...and that is where she would go. She packed up and she made her way swiftly to Canterlot. Unfortunately, the book was locked away, for it's magic was forbidden and dangerous. But this did not matter to her. Twilight broke into the library, stole the book, and rushed off to Ponyville. She would not allow anything to stand in her way. Spike could not be gone.

The spell required an intense amount of magic. Twilight would need help to cast the spell, to bring Spike back. But, none of the other elements would help her. They insisted she lay Spike to rest. She refused. How could they ever say such a thing? How could they give up on Spike? How could they not believe in her?

Twilight took it upon herself to cast the spell. She took the Elements of Harmony and she wielded them herself. Bright beams of pink light flooded out of her curtains...

!!!TW BEGINS!!!

"Twilight. . ." A soft, exhausted voice called from the explosion that was her living room. Twilight could barely hear it's faintness, but his voice was unmistakable. She blindly stumbled towards the voice, to find Spike. When she found him, she was first overjoyed. Spike was getting up! Spike was alive!! Bright pink and sparkling ooze spilled from his chest as he rose from his bed. "Twilight?" His voice was louder and sounded panicked? "What is happening-" his voice cut off with a sickening gurgle. Pink bursted from his mouth, and he coughed and wheezed, trying desperately to regain his breath. His eyes were bleeding, or were they rotting? Twilight couldn't tell. She rushed to his side and she held him. Spike choked and convulsed, pink ooze spilling all over his bed and onto the floor and onto her. And then...he stopped. Unsure of what happened, of what to do, Twilight stared in disbelief, in heartbreak. Had she revived him only to suffer yet another painful death? Tears welled in her eyes and she cried out with unbearable pain.

Between her cries and uncontrollable sobbing, she didn't hear Dash break through one of her windows. She held Spike and cried and cried. The house was a mess and Twilight was a mess and covered in pink ooze and Spike was a mess and pink ooze was still coming out of him. Despite her best efforts, Twilight would not let go of Spike. She snapped at Dash to leave her alone, and that is what Dash did. She didn't want to, but what was there to do?

Twilight fell asleep in the midst of her crying, holding her baby dragon close and covering him with her wings.

She woke to a gurgling growl and a terrifying creature standing above her, with pink, sparkling drool dripping from it's mouth. It's eyes were dark and lifeless but little pink glowing orbs betrayed it's gaze. It stared and growled and breathed raspy, shallow breaths. Twilight pushed it away in fear, scrambling up from Spike's bed. That is when she realized what the creature was. It was Spike...but it wasn't truly. He twitched and groaned and dripped pink ooze.

Before she knew it, a knock came at her door. Spike's head snapped towards the sound.

The door opened.

Spike lunged.

Screams and Spike's growls erupted.

What had she done?

I guess the reason I fell off mlp in seasons 4 and 5 back in the day is cause I felt it was going downhill?

Twilight had gotten her wings which felt like a big upset in the show's status quo at the time. They kept introducing things like a big castle and new alicorn characters which felt like nothing but ploys to sell new merch. And I remember my favorite pony, Pinkie, felt like she was being flanderized from a pony who spread joy with intention to nothing but a gag character who acted completely irrationally in most episodes.

Now that I'm watching season 6 though... I'm not really noticing any of these problems? Or maybe they just don't feel as big to me. I'm having a great time just watching the show and seeing what they can do with the new and old characters. Twilight being an alicorn is old news now, I love the new character Starlight, and Pinkie displayed a lot of intelligence in the episode about the zombies and the one about the Indian restaurant.

Maybe now that I'm older, I'm just not as bothered by the minor problems that drove me up the wall when I was younger. I'm just having fun.

BIG SPOILER OF FUTURE FANFICS GUYS, IF YOU DON'T CARE, GO AHEAD

You see, Crafty's backstory was squeeze in the season finale of the cartoon, and even was incomplete 'cause the season finale was a part 1, with the part 2 lost in the season 2, that's why is so hated for all the gang + catnap, having a lot of foreshadowing for it and then cancelling the cartoon after said bomb was horrible, and the reason they cancel it? The toys weren't selling as much as they want it. So yeah, Alba has even found the scripts and animatics for the season 2 in Playcare (the cartoon was animated in other place, but the scripts and animatics were send to Play.Co to confirm the work), and heavens, the story was going to get a turn.

First, Craftycorn came from a kingdom full of unicorns and pegasus, with the royalty been the only alicorns (just like in MLP), so what was the surprise in King Canvas when the stork delivered a unicorn baby to him.

The king was in denial, but when her infant daughter was able to active the flower pendant (the family's pendant), he accept it, but wasn't happy with the news.

Then it come years of craftycorn been mentally and physically abused by her father, who convince her of the idea that she was a ''defective alicorn'' and not a normal unicorn, this way, crafty not only thought she was less in her family, but she also thought the unicorns in her kingdom wouldn't like her, 'cause she wasn't one of them (yeah, the bastard destroyed all selfstem in her).

Then one day she... run away, looking for a place that would take her, she end up in the town where the cartoons happens, and hide herself in the Piggy's farm (where Mr.Piggy found her thinking she was a normal child unicorn that ran away from the war, and she accept that story inmediatly).

But why there was a war to begin with? Well, 'cause King Canvas thought his ''lovely daughter'' was kidnnaped, and he blame the astral kingdom (the one of dogday and catnap) for it, so, in a way, craftycorn is the one to blame for dogday and catnap dad's death.

Craftycorn realised all this when they meet Queen Gaia, making her have a full breakdown due the idea that her ''selfishness'' was what make her father start a full war, this get around during some episodes till the flower festival (that last episode before the season finale), where King Canvas show up and, thinking her daughter was kidnnaped and brainwashed to marry the next king ('cause in that moment dogday and craftycorn were dancing together), start a new attack against the kingdom-

You’ve mentioned that ponies have gone mad speaking with the goddesses. How has that effected Shining Armor, both with Cadence, and, later, a less normal-pony like Twilight (depending on how long it takes for alicorn to reach “can’t hold a conversation with mortals over anything deeper than weather without making them loose their minds” status)

shining armor passed away before Cadence became too big to converse with.

Here is one of their last days together.

She is a century old at this point. She was already an alicorn when they fell in love, so he knew what he was getting into. She would often be lost in the clouds, listening to and granting love to the world around her. He was the last mortal to hold her attention, and she became much more of an abstract concept after losing him.

It is said that her tears became a fountain from which magical water with protective properties flowed. Couples give each other a vial if they have to be separated for a time, and it carries a blessing of Safe Return.

Twilight was smaller than this when Shining Armor passed, but she was still obviously beyond a mortal lifespan. He found solace in knowing that his family had each other.

Design notes under cut plus Goopy’s general uhhh….vibe(body horror warning)

If we were to say Mew are basically the equivalent of Alicorns, then like…That’s almost the entire cast man how do I EVEN-

So I took that idea but tried to make certain attributes more prominent?

Zeus relies on their psychic abilities most out of the cast so their horn is longer (cuz longer horn means stronger magic DUH), but their body is weaker and their wings aren’t too strong

Fuji’s a very phsyical fighter, so he’s got that strong Earth pony body but weak wings and magic (but now his horn is broken…)

Bella is all about speed and agility, so she gets wings that are far too big for a filly her age with a not as strong body or magic

Mosy and Janus are both pure Mew so they’re a lot more balanced (Janus is very strong despite looking dainty they WILL stomp you)

Gave Janus, Fuji, and Bella some traditional Unicorn features because fun

And lastly…Goopy….he ain’t doin so hot.

Keeper: You’re an elf Sophie, you have to live with your new guardians who have a pet t. rex, have fun being an outcast at school, secret messages from your creators?!? actually you where dumb and went near fire and now your guardians don’t want you :(. oh no child kidnapping!! girls first time almost dying in elf land!! she gets to stay in elf land and gets adopted happy ending YAY!!!

Exile: girl finds a magic HORSE, girl goes to prison to vist a ✨psychopath✨ and make him go 🔥insane🔥 because that’s a job for a 12yo!?! oh no she accidentally causes a man to go insane from guilt (his children hate her now) oh no she’s allergic to MIRRORS, time to go on a field trip on your magic horse and meet a old man in a cave, oh no the bad guys attack!!!, SHE CAN TELEPORT?!?, fixes the man she broke though the power of happiness and �� love 💕 the last non cliffhanger of the entire series

Everblaze: time to fix the psychopath you made go insane, oh no, he committed arson and killed somebody important!!! ogre king puts the fun in funeral by announcing his intention to commit mass gnomeocide and the girl commits WAR CRIMES FOR THE FIRST TIME (she should have known better you can’t even blame this on lack of elf lessons), your best friend is tricked into to making a torture device just👏 for👏 you!! the council is making you wear it as a punishment!! your dead adoptive sister was killed by her fiancé!?!, oh no your new dad is trying to kill him, you 🔥destroy🔥your torture device and plan to join a rebel organization, you are 13 years old, this is the start of the series cliffhangers

Neverseen: children join rebel organization by following a old man through paris, ✨surprise✨ a mother stowed away with them (she knocks the man on his ass), boys fight over girl and end up being forced to basically kiss through their magic breathing tube for a unknown amount of time, T R E E H O U S E S!!!!, children meet the leaders (that they definitely don’t already know under different names), 🦄ALICORN SEX SCENE!!!🦄 the rebel leaders take the kids on a field trip! (it’s a prison brake), OH NO!! one of the hot boys™️ get stabbed by B U G, family puke party while he gets better, the children go to prison school for the man who they failed to prison brake!! Girl set herself on 🔥FIRE🔥 (don’t tell her parents), they meet twins!! one was bansihed for property damage and not because there’s society has no ability to teach overpowered middle schoolers hot boys™️ big brother comes to visit!! they go on ANOTHER field trip and this time Commit MORE WAR CRIMES, oh no!!! the big brother is actually evil!! oh no!! I REDESIGNED THE MANE SIX PONIES!!!

I had so much fun doing these and I really wanna ramble so if you wanna hear about my thought process, click below!

✨️Twilight Sparkle✨️

Twilight was the simplest and arguably the closest to her canon design with a few differences, she is tad taller as an alicorn, while she was a medium height as a unicorn before this

I REALLY wanted to change her colour palette into one of an actual twilight sky and skew darker in terms of colours for that almost dark academia feel.

I added some silver glasses and a collar and some sort of tie for that fantasy almost witch apprentice look as almost a nod to Twilight being Celestia's apprentice.

Her mane is up in a bun to keep it tidy while she studies and her tail is kept short so she doesn't get caught in anything as she runs around looking for books.

I thought it'd be cute for her to have sparkle like freckles to match the sparkles on her wings.

Finally, her cutie mark is all around the same but with more of the twilight colours instead.

🧁Pinkie Pie🧁

Pinkie Pie is now EXTRA fluffy to just fit her extra bubbly personality while also being the second shortest pony.

I decided to give Pinkie heterochromia, I just feel like it suits her really really well! Alongside the lighter rounded patches of fur and darkening the rest of her pink coat.

She got hoof-icures of sprinkles on her light pink hooves!

Her mane and tail are extra fluffy and shorter, making it look a lot more puffed up like the canon mane and tail she has as a filly in canon! She has sprinkles all over her mane and tail and a bow on her tail.

Finally, her cutie mark now has different coloured and shaped balloons as well as a cupcake and party hat, the cupcake referencing her baking talents as well as her party talents!

🦋Fluttershy🦋

Fluttershy has a few changes to her design, she is the third tallest pony of the group.

I gave Fluttershy, dark forest green eyes to contrast with all the pastels in her design.

She has significantly longer mane and tail with a gradient from pastel pink to a pastel leaf green.

I really wanted Fluttershy to have smaller wings, like Scootaloo in canon, she has this disability now and is unable to really fly. I wanted to explore just how much animals and the nature impacted her as a filly by making her a lot more connected to it. An example being the leaves and flowers in Fluttershy's mane and tail is from her climbing trees to help critters, something she LEARNED from her critter friends.

Her smaller wings have a small feather pattern that resembles a butterfly's wings in the inner of her wings and the fluff on her hooves also resemble leaves and butterfly wings.

💎Rarity💎

Rarity has a few changes, mainly to her mane and tail, she is also the fourth tallest among the group.

Rarity has piercing dark blue eyes, I made her eyes a more striking colour than in her canon design.

Her mane and tail now have small curls and waves, decorated with pearls and up in a half bun. With a gradient colours of dark purple to a pastel indigo. I really wanted to give her a very fashionable mane and tail style without it just being a single giant curl.

Rarity's hooves have a gradient into an ice blue.

I gave Rarity so many accessories and jewelry, I really wanted to dress her up in diamonds and pearls and gold.

Rarity's cutie mark is now a big single diamond with a dark purple thread spool and needle. The diamond representing her backstory where she found all those gems and got her cutie mark after using them in her design and the heart shape the dark purple thread makes, represents her big and generous heart.

🍎Applejack🍎

Applejack's coat is now a darker brown with patches of light brown and the orange from her canon design. She is also the second tallest of the group.

Her eyes are now a brighter leafy green.

Her mane and tail are now significantly shorter, in a more orangey tone of blonde as her tail is tied in a braid to help keep it neat and tidy during her farm work.

I added a red ribbon to her hat, which is now a darker shade of brown as well as gave her a handkerchief tied around her neck that has red and green plaid.

Applejack has a slightly bulkier body from all the apple bucking she's done around the farm.

Her cutie mark is now a heart shaped picnic mat with her three apples that are now three different colours to represent Apple Bloom, Big Mac and Granny Smith.

⚡️Rainbow Dash⚡️

Rainbow Dash is the shortest of the group, but of course is absolutely the fastest.

She now has a darker greyish blue coat with a lighter grey blue patches as well as light blue lightning and cloud patches all over.

Her wings are now bigger, this being something that has hindered her flying as a filly and made it hard for her to control her flying and crashing into things as a filly, being given the nickname 'Rainbow Crash'. But now her bigger wings help her fly faster than ever before, even helping her do the impossible Sonic Rainboom.

Her hooves are now a gradient from light blue to white to represent clouds.

She now wears goggles around her neck all of the time.

Her mane and tail are significantly shorter and in a cool swoopy sharp style, the rainbow in her mane and tail are a lot brighter now to make her stand out a lot more.

Her eyes are now a stormy grey to show off her aggressive nature while also being a perfect contrast to the rainbows in her designs.

Her cutie mark is now a giant rainbow lightning bolt in the middle of a ring of clouds and smaller rainbow coloured lightning bolts. This is to represent her ability to create a Sonic Rainboom.

Trixie has been banned from performing magic shows after a magical mishap, so she's found a new career path, in law! Trixie has to learn her way through law so she can find a way to lift her show ban, or at least, find a loophole through it.

What's an alicorn? Sparky Blaze is just a flying fire horse who loves spaghetti! Sparky's got a big weird family for tons of fun. Only Mischief happens here!

Currently only in the prologue, the story remains a mystery. All we know for right now, is that we are following the strange mare, Midnight, who appears to be searching for something in the Everfree Forest.

We start following a weird little changeling named Cricket who seems to be searching for his queen. Chrysalis hates to admit it, but she needs his help if she's going to get out of her current, stony predicament.

We're in an alternate universe, and Twilight seems very on edge, not to mention to be keeping some secrets. Time to poke and prod until she spills!

Hurrah, Princess Luna has just returned after 1000 years on the moon! She's a bit anxious, but herself and Celestia are grateful to be together once more. It's time for the celebration, and surely nothing is amiss...

Pinkie Pie has come down with something ill after being cut by a strange rock. Weird things are going on, like Fluttershy suddenly being famous and random stuff popping out of Pinkies hair! (Stuff that she doesn't remember putting there, of course). Just what in Equestria is going on??

Ask Lady Eris is a very chill, silly blog for me. It's mainly sketches, but that's what makes it so fun for me. I just like her because she's cute and fun to draw ^^ Come see the Lady of Chaos who rains chocolate milk and protects her beloved Butterscotch!
