Alastor eventually gives up and melts back into the shadows in a “tactical retreat”, intending to ask Husk later what Angel meant. This endeavour results in the other demon laughing as well, but he eventually explains it to him. Alastor, slightly embarrassed at being this oblivious, of course decides not to speak or even think of the even ever. Angel, of course, decides to tell everybody who would listen, making the radio demon’s resolution significantly harder to fulfil.
