Danny's Pizzeria

Ghosts get bored, a lot, and sometimes even Ghost Kings get ideas from their videogames in childhood. So, when Lunch Lady commented that she didn't have enough ingredients to cook for a "half human" (read, him) the halfa traveled to another dimension and gave them to her without much trouble.

Then Lunch said that she wanted to experiment, and he got her new ingredients, from all possible places (always asking Clockwork if it really was edible).

The funny thing was that several ghosts wanted to try the new "pizza" flavors that the King had been enjoying. So he just opened a pizzeria in the Realms. The thing is, the ingredients cost money, and while he could pawn the gold from the vault, Clockwork told him that he shouldn't leave "haunted" materials everywhere.

So he just expanded his pizzeria to various dimensions. The menu sounded strange anywhere outside of the Realms, with the most exotic ingredients. But he needed money, and it was the simplest way that didn't include bewitching an unsuspecting poor man.

Of course he, along with other ghosts made the deliveries (it depended on who wanted to travel, mostly Johnny and Kitty). Pizzerias just popped up at any moment before disappearing (even though his business was doing fine online) simply because he thought disappearing buildings was fun.

No wonder Billy Batson freaked out when he noticed the pizzeria next to the Rock of Eternity. That John Constantine fainted when he saw it next to the House of Mystery or that the Watchtower investigated the establishment that had appeared on the Moon (Of course, Flash ordered). But hey, the ghost king need some kind of entertainment.

I think in game it's kind of presented that Julie Farkas thinks poorly of, if not outright dislikes, the Great Khans which I guess is fair enough but also reeks of the attitude of the writers viewing drug addicts and raiders as subhuman. And I don't think really it lines up with either the Khan/Follower relationship depicted in game nor does it Follow Julie's reestablished personality. I think she's a little exasperated with them but not enough to warrent the "who? Oh you mean those raiders who used to clash with the vegas tribes 🙄" line that she has about them like cmon girl 1) people are like your only allies outside of Freeside and 2) why are you taking the Three Families side in this??? They're causing just as many if not more issues than the Khans even Arcade has lines about how the Families are exploiting Freeside and I can't think who else she means by "vegas tribes" Anyway. It does make sense for her to be annoyed with how they're causing more drug problems in Freeside but i don't think it makes sense for her to be written in a way that makes it sounds like she's angry with the Khans for *using their precious medical knowledge to make the evil morphine rather than the morally good morphine* when really she should be more angry with House/The Families for causing the poverty in Freeside and the NCR for forcing the Khans into the precarious position they're in while disallowing the Followers from truly helping them. The fact that by the time that Fnv comes around the Followers and NCR's relationship has broken down should be enough for the Followers to revisit relations with the Khans since, as I said, the Khans have been the only truly consistent allies of the Followers and more importantly, the NCR JUST MURDERED ALL THEIR CHILDREN. damn i had some really good tags on a reblog but tumblr ate it. anyways the gist of it was what if anime episode where the evil old man coworker trio (blaise, manfred and damon) were at manfred's place Discussing Work (drinking copious amounts of "grape juice" and laughing maniacally about their victories for which they Definitely Didn't Cheat) and franziska and miles are supposed to be playing quietly in the corner while the adults are talking but then baby franziska wanders off and the A plot becomes a very exasperated 10yo miles chasing a surprisingly fast and very brave 3yo franziska around the von karma estate, occasionally picking her up and carrying her away from danger until she inevitably escapes again. the B plot is just it occasionally cutting back to the old men and we catch one of them saying something insane but it's halfway through the sentence and we get no context. and then it cuts back to the siblings. one time when it cuts back to the old men, manfred is like "wait where's franziska" and he looks out the window and miles is in the garden holding her. he is very obviously disheveled and covered in scrapes and bruises and there are sticks and leaves lodged in his hair. franziska on the other hand is completely unscathed and in pristine condition. manfred shrugs and is like "eh, she's fine. anyway-"

not that i even include any of the nina project canon on this blog, but what really annoyed me about it all (i mean, basically everything to do with the storyline lmao) is that jane continued to call brenner papa. he claims they're “father and daughter” and offers his hand to her, and she takes it, in order to continue the work. she confirms he is her papa. by calling him that, it continues to implement that he is some kind of role model or positive figure in her life. the fact that she didn't confront him about her childhood until he physically stopped her from leaving and put the shock collar around her neck, is wild to me. all of jane’s development from the very first episode is amazing. in just the end of season one she associates “bad” to brenner, after spending one week with the boys. yes she did try running away from him the moment she saw him, and she was only thinking about helping her friends in working with nina, but she would not have put up with his behaviour towards her. she knew who he was at that point, and if not just to her, then to her friends: he faked will’s death, threatened to kill the boys, destroyed her mothers life. anyway. the point of this post, is that after season two, and her experience with kali, the man who hurt terry, and brenner’s vision, she only refers to him as brenner. there is no more papa. she is not giving him that credit, or allowing him to have that possession over her. if he were to ever come up in conversation, he is brenner, and that’s it.

 “Need a hand?” Tali asked. Liara nodded and the Quarian moved to help. Hisashi and Garrus waited quietly until the two had a breakthrough

 “I’m seeing reference to a One for All and an All for One,” Liara mentioned as she scanned her data.

 “Ditto. I’m also seeing something about transference.” Tali said.

 “All for One? The Boogeyman?” Hisashi asked.

 “The what?” Garrus asked.

 “He’s… well not a myth. I thought he was dead though. He apparently was around during the rise of Quirks, able to steal Quirks from people and then either use them or give them away. It was said he played at being a benevolent man but in reality had ideals that he alone should decide who could have a Quirk, and he took his role seriously. Most info on him is black ops.” Hisashi said. “I really thought he was dead. Trails went dead… shit. Fifteen or so years ago.”

 “When Cerberus broke away from the Alliance.” Liara said grimly. “He’s still alive. Wounded badly now though, at the hands of a One for All? Apparently a Quirk that he made for his sickly brother in order to convince him to follow his rule. It didn’t work and it turns out that his brother had a Quirk that interacted with the other. It’s impossible to take One for All by force and it can be passed down by choice.” 

 “I found mentions of a deal. Izuku is Quirkless which… is rare in Japan?” Tali asked Hisashi.

 “It is. Asian people are ninety-nine percent more likely to have Quirks then not.” He said. 

 “The deal was to… break your son. To make him a malleable puppet.” Liara said grimly. Hisashi felt the burn of his throat. Shit. “The idea would be to present him as a useful inheritor of One for All, but then offer him a hand from the underworld. The idea being that a form left Quirkless boy would identify more with the people beaten down by society and would be swayed to their side.”

 “He’d get One for All and pass it to All for One.” Hisashi finished the idea. “They didn’t account for Inko being mentally stronger then they thought or Izuku being more stubborn then me.”

 “No one is more stubborn then you.”

 “Trust me. He is.”

 From tone alone Toshinori should have figured it out. As it was, he still didn’t feel prepared to open the papers to find an analysis on All for One. Or the information on him working with Cerberus. Or… any of it really.

 “He was after my son as a way to try and con One for All out of you,” Shepard said simply. “I’m friends with an information broker who adores Izuku. She helped put that together.” 

 “Shit.” Toshinori flicked through the file, his missing stomach aching as he realized something. “He’s alive.”

 “He is.”

 “I’m injured.” 

“Well you have us.” Shepard grinned, a small amount of smoke pouring from his lips. “He touched my baby. I’ll make him bleed.”

It's really funny to think about the whole custody battle people are having over Hunter when you remember he is is sixteen and all but fully independent like it does not matter who has official/legal custody of him he's still just gonna go wherever he wants and that's what he did. Literally why would he pick one household to live in when the entire point of his character arc is that he doesn't want to be confined to any one place or occupation (he wants to carve palismen, he wants to play flyerderby, he wants to go to school, and he wants to make cosplay and sew wolf t-shirts all of which are things he'll want to be in different places for generally)

And it's so funny to me when people concede to coparenting like some kind of compromise but they think that they are going to have a post-divorce Hunter spends weekdays with one family and weekends with another situation like how did you miss the whole point of found family in this series.

Hunter doesn't switch between the Deamonne, Noceda, and Clawthorne-Whispers families because they're the same family now. Everybody came together. They all became Luz's family, Hunter included.
