random atem headcanons because i’m brainrotting.

being a pharaoh from ancient egypt, atem is fluent in arabic.   but thanks to being bonded with yugi for so long, he’s also learned a good amount of japanese.   however, whilst he can speak japanese, arabic is his preferred language.

going back to an older post of mine, he’s also much fonder of food cooked using the ingredients from his culture.   this includes garlic, green vegetables, lentils, figs, dates, onions, fish, birds, eggs, cheese and butter.   his palate is more favorable towards blander meals.   and from what he’s tried so far, most modern fast food items he doesn’t like, either because of the strong salty flavors, or because of the amount of grease.
