"that's a lot of people," you murmured as you and seungcheol were guided onto the red carpet.

"yea, it's usually like this," he mentioned. “if they ask questions, you can answer them if you want to, but i bet most of them are gonna be about us dating,” he added, knowing that you were nervous about your relationship going public. you nodded your head.

"s.coups! over here!"

"over here please!"

"girlfriend, look this way!"

flashes from cameras kept going off as you and seungcheol were getting your pictures taken by the press who were present. a staff member guided you every so often to continue on.

"you okay?" seungcheol asked as you two walked a bit to the next spot.

"mhm, it's just really bright," you said with a slight smile in order to reassure him.

he smiled back at you, "don't worry. i'm not used to it either," he said to reassure you. "it won't last this long though."

"give her a kiss on the cheek!"

"when did you two meet?”

"y/n, look over here!"

“how long have you been dating?”

"s.coups, y/n, this way," the staff member directed you to the end of the red carpet, where you stood in place one last time to get photos taken.

"over here please! yep, this way!"

"y/n, show that smile!"

“how long have you been dating?”

"look over here please!"

afterwards, you two continued walking into the venue, finally done with all of the paparazzi and the cameras.

"you okay?" seungcheol asked you again. you nodded and kissed his cheek. "good," he smiled and kissed your forehead.

"aren't you supposed to save the affection for the cameras?"

you saw jeonghan standing with the8 and dino.

"i'd prefer if it wasn't on camera," you replied and both of you approached them.

"where's everyone else?" seungcheol asked.

"they're already sitting down. we were waiting for you guys," jeonghan answered.

"the press sure liked seeing you guys more than us," dino commented, "but noona does look really pretty."

you looked down at your dress for a second before looking back up and shrugging your shoulders, "i tried."

"let's go sit," the8 said, "i think hyung said they want photos of us in there," he added, mentioning their manager.

you guys walked inside the venue, going through the path for celebrities (despite you just being a guest). you reached the rest of the guys who were sitting together.

"hi y/n!" seungkwan greeted while s.coups helped you up to where they were.

"hi," you smiled and sat down next to seungcheol and joshua. "the press can't come up here, right?" you asked your boyfriend.

he nodded, "yea, they can't," he answered, "but people in the audience over there can probably get decent shots of us," he mentioned. you nodded, "don't worry, you look cute."

you rolled your eyes, "are you gonna be like this the whole night?"

"what else am i supposed to do? i rather stare at your pretty face than listen to this award show," he said and held your hand. "plus, i gotta show off when the cameras are on us."

"i'm hiding when they appear."

"good luck with that," he replied and kissed your cheek.

and of course, fans got the shot of him kissing you and it went viral overnight.

Seventeen on Dingo Killing Voice was a masterpiece I didn't know we desperately needed. Diverse discography, flawless live vocals, and them visibly having fun and vibing to their own music - made my heart swell with pride as a Carat 💎

Also DK's ad libs omg - that man is perfection what can I say aksidhjwwkk

The video reminded me of how playful and fun their TTT karaoke was <3

vernon - breakfast

really wish their setlist for the north american tour was the same as their concert in seoul, but at least we got a tour

"baby, don't run!" you yelled as you followed your daughter, who excitedly ran away when she saw a familiar face.

"uncle!" your daughter yelled as she caught up to seungkwan, who was just about to walk inside the building.

"who's this stranger?" seungkwan playfully asked while picking up your daughter. "hey," he smiled at you.

"hi, seungkwan," you greeted and caught up to them. "baby, you can't just run away like that,” you said to your daughter.

"but uncle's here!" she replied and you sighed.

"you guys are here early," seungkwan commented as he held the door open for you.

"vernon forgot his breakfast, figured we bring it to him before i drop her off at my mom's," i reply and walk inside with him following. "how's practice been?" you asked and you three headed to one of their practice rooms.

"pretty good," he mentioned. "y/d/n, are you ready to see your dad and your uncles perform?" he asked your daughter.

"yea!" your daughter replied, "are you going to sing "oh my"?" she asked him.

"you know what? just for you, i'll add it to our setlist," seungkwan said to her.

"yay!" your daughter cheered.

you guys made your way to the practice room and went inside. you saw some of the guys warming up and greeted some of the staff members who were also there.

"huh, who's this little girl?" jeonghan asked. you could tell he was a bit tired but was super happy to see your daughter along with the rest of the guys.

"it's me!" your daughter exclaimed as seungkwan put her down, "uncle!" she ran up to jeonghan, who had crouched down to her level, and they hugged.

"what are you doing here?" you heard vernon ask and turned to face him. he walked up to you, and you kissed his cheek.

"you left before i even woke up, figured you would need something to eat at least," you said, holding up the lunchbox with some of the breakfast you had made earlier that morning.

vernon smiled, "thanks," he said and took the lunchbox from you. "are you tired? angel was still awake when i got home last night. i heard you reading to her," he mentioned, calling your daughter by one of the nicknames he has for her.

"i'm okay. y/d/n is full of energy as always," you said and glanced over to see your daughter on top of jun's shoulders. "i'm dropping her off at my parents. i have my doctor's appointment later and other stuff to do," you mentioned.

"oh, that's right. i forgot you were going to the doctor's," vernon replied. "just a checkup, right?" he asked and you nodded in response.

vernon started eating the breakfast you made for him while you sat with him against the mirror. you watched the guys who were present talk and play with your daughter. the rest of the guys arrived and got excited to see your daughter in their practice room.

"okay, angel, you gotta go with mom now," vernon said when he finished eating.

"can't i stay here today?" your daughter asked as she ran up to you two.

"we can watch her while we rehearse," joshua spoke up, "we have plenty of people after all."

you looked at your daughter, who was nonverbally pleading with puppy eyes.

you sighed and looked at s.coups, "is that okay with you?" you asked him.

"i don't mind," he replied. "y/d/n, am i still your favorite uncle?" he asked while crouching down to her level.

you daughter shook her head, "no."

“oof…”

“ow.”

and with a sulky s.coups, your husband and his group mates were now taking care of her while you left to attend your appointment and do other errands.
