It is always easy to sit at home and imagine a world where there is equality everywhere in all forms and colours, but it takes substance and resolve to make this happen in the real world particularly in an ecosystem as complex as India. It does not need a salt satygraha moment to make this happen, the young generation just needs to find out the subtle ways society still discrimnates and make baby steps towards a better world.

This is not to say that the big MNCs are not spreading awareness but most of the money from thier deep pockets move to the advertising agencies to create advertisements which promote a good feeling of "what could be" rather than creating products which could make an impact of "what is". The other downside is that the money gets chanelled into mega advertising industries where male chavunism is rampant and is almost always an accepted norm. Ariel, Titan Raga, Airtel provide some great examples of these. The undercurrent here points to the lack of women in the decision making table for the big brands. Women who could channel money and energy into finding what women consumer actually want rather than just giving them a feeling of goodness through media.

On a 100 feet view level, #Instagram is becoming a platform for young and old women entrepreneurs to promote brands and products without too much barriers to entry. These easily reach the next generation which has adopted instagram shopping in a big way and helps bring about small but powerful impacts in the lives of the both the consumer and the seller. Consumers, particularly working class women, must take active note of these brands and spread the word if not become thier loyal customers. Its not enough just to see a "Make in India" tag in products but also spend our money in products which could bring about equality in the ecosystem . Lest these promising women entrepeneurs aiming the change the world lose thier energies and let us go back to where it was before.

We looked at specific brands from diverse categories with women at the helm of thier design thinking while also not burning a hole in your pockets which you would definitely need to move your fingers towards them in Instagram

Wallpaperscissor - A brand that has been started by twin sisters, Bhumika and Dhwani to create and customize wallpapers for nurseries and children rooms. The customizations and the human touch bring about a lot of flavours to the room compared to going for a standard set of wallpapers readily available in the market

Jhop_India - A brand started by a women entrepreneur duo who are former classmates in Visual communication, Jhop is about revolutionizing modern and trendy dresses for women. They bring about the flavour of equality by making sure the one feauture which is mostly missing in most women dresses is present, the pockets. Jhop apparently means pockets in Coimbatore dialect of the Tamil language and they have chosen to ensure their roots are not forgotten with the naming style.

Mindgym - Mindgym aims to bring about engaging and educational activities for the kids upto 5 years old. In these times of irony where parents brag about children knowing to operate mobile on thier own, Mindgym helps them to brag about better things that thier children have done or created. It has been started by two women entrepreneurs qualified in the field of early childhood education.

makingwildpaper - WildPaper designs early learning products that help kids develop thier early literacy skills. It helps instill early learning skills and the ability to appreciate the world around them. They are collaborating with various other initiatives but at the helm of design thinking is a woman trying to make the world a better place for children.

These are just 4 of the many which we have come across over the past few months, but a lot more micro ventures by women are also around which is waiting to be recognized by people like us by such articles or by spending a very small portion of our time to understand what they do and become thier geniune customer simply for the excellence that they are trying to maintain despite not having the deep pockets that corporates have. Celebrtities like Sameera Reddy @reddysameera are already doing thier bit by feauturing some of these products on thier pages but that is just a tip of the iceberg, more celebrities could come across and make Atmanirbhar and Samaanata India a grand success.

The first stadium tour of the group bulletproof boy band (RM, Jean, Sugar, JHOP, Jimin, Viva, Chungkuk) at Wembley Stadium in Brent District, London, UK, on June 1, ‘LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF (Love You Self: Speak Your Self) ‘A press conference was held to commemorate the London performance.

The Bulletproof Boys will be at the Wembley Stadium on the 1st and 2nd at 7:30 pm. The first performance will start at 3:30 am on the second day in Korea time. It is the first time that a Korean singer is on stage at Wembley Stadium.

It is a result that can not be limited to simply the title of ‘K pop first’. Wembley stadium, which was built for the 1923 British expo in 1948, was demolished in 2003 for reconstruction and reopened as the new Wembley stadium in 2007. The main purpose is the soccer stadium, but it is a big venue among many singers as a ‘dream stage’. The first solo performer here was George Michael (2007), followed by Muse, Metallica, Queen, Michael Jackson, Oasis, Madonna, Beyonce, Eminem and Ed Sirren at the Wembley Stadium.

The Bangladeshi boy band is on the verge of meeting world-class musicians on stage at the Wembley Stadium. Debut in June, 2013, the first solo concert ‘BTS 2014 LIVE TRILOGY: EPISODE Ⅱ’ at the Yes 24 live hall (old ax hall) in Gwangjin-gu, (6,000 spectators mobilized in three days), ‘The RED BULLET’ (2014 Live Trilogy: Episode Two, The Red Bullet), 2015 Olympic Hall (6,000 spectators mobilized in two days), SK Olympic Handball Stadium (20,000 spectators in 2016), Gymnasium (20,000 spectators in two days), Goguryeo Sky Dome in February 2017 (40,000 spectators in two days), Goguryeo Sky Dome in December 2017 ), The Jamsil Olympic Main Stadium in August 2018 (90,000 spectators mobilized in two days), and the New York City Field in October 2018 (40,000 spectators mobilized at one time).
