No, but seriously, how do you realistically recover from the cemetery scene? Even without the element of Eddie was ready to do something and Buck crushed his heart like a grape element I like to pretend exists even though we have no explicit confirmation of that, how do you come back from your best friend basically telling you and the people who love him are forcing him to be someone he's not and this random person he's known for 5 minutes is the one who understands him and see him and he can be? All that after you had to literally save his life. Even more with the way she literally runs away from him upon seeing more of him? Like, I'm writing a whole fic trying to deal with it, but I keep rewriting and adding stuff because nothing I make Buck say feels like enough. I know they like to write Buck as clueless sometimes, but the more I look at that scene, the more insensitive Buck feels like. And I get it, he died, and he's allowed whatever feelings he has, but, damn. Seriously, what type of fight needs to happen for them to fix what they created with that conversation?

Hiii, I'm finally posting some more art since I've been practicing using watercolor today, and I actually have the motive to post + free time!

This isn't that good since it's just practice + I was experimenting, but I'm happy enough with it! Lemme tell you, I was fighting for my life with the coloring/shading 💀

I also have this random sketch I made while waiting for my watercolor layers to dry! It was mostly just very brief anatomy practice, and I have no idea who this is supposed to be, but he was definitely inspired by Temuera Morrison lmfao. I've also started painting this sketch with watercolor, so I'll probably post the finished product soon!

I am aware that Apple TV is an expensive money grab to try and fulfill some gap in Apple’s massive banking numbers, and yet I cannot help but enjoy it. I know, I am nothing more than a minecraft pig following my capitalistic golden carrot in a stick in front of me, but this shit is good.

Something about actors I love, well written characters, interesting plots, and mind blowing sets and costumes that really brings me in. My wifi isn’t really working, so the show was stopping every 10 seconds, but even with that I was deeply investing in Lessons in Chemistry. I love Brie Larson, I was blown away by the way the writers were able to capture my attention with just two episodes of Elizabeth and Calvin’s romance (honestly guys it was so cute) I might even try to read the book.

Like the shows I’ve seen on the platform are just good shows. I want to critique them, I want to find issues (what can I say, I enjoy my pessimism) but I really can’t. The two shows that have really stood out to me are Lessons in Chemistry and Ted Lasso. The way these shows mesh well known actors with fresh faces, the well researched and well done sets, and in character costuming, and the WRITING.

All of the dialogue that I have seen has felt so real, so natural in a way that Netflix could only dream of curating. The way the sorry ebbs and flows is just so good, it feels natural in a way so few shows I’ve watched cannot seem to emulate. Just OOOOOO!!

This post has no real point to it, other than watch some shows from Apple TV (I do make a push for pirating it - do not give Apple your money like my parents have). I just really want people to talk about these shows with.

i just watched My Cousin Vinny, where Joe Pesci plays a cringefail lawyer named Vinny, and Marisa Tomei plays his fiancee, Lisa. Vinny is a terrible lawyer at first glance, but it gets clear that he is actually good at what he does with his unconventional methods.
