So, my one-shot has turned into a monster 🙈 Might become a multi-chapter fic. But for now, here's the first part.
It's a pure speculation as well as canon divergence because the grandma doesn't show up just yet.
I don't own any of the characters, all of them and the show belong to the writers, production company and FOX channel.

A Technicality
Serkan was sitting at his desk in Art Life office, deep in thought, contemplating all the mess he had managed to create for and around himself as well as his already very fragile relationship with Eda.
It wasn't how he had imagined everything going when he had asked Eda for those three wishes. The first one was her unconditional trust, which Eda, sadly, couldn't give him. And Serkan started suspecting that it wasn't really about Eda not being ready to trust him again. Serkan had a feeling that Eda's pride and stubbornness were to blame as well as lingering hurt. She hadn't completely forgiven him. Her denying him what he so desperately craved - herself - was her form of punishment. But in her desire to punish and teach him a lesson, Eda was only causing both of them more distress. And that's what Serkan found so frustrating. That is what actually pushed him to these extreme measures.
"Oh god, what am I doing? Unbelievable. Look, Eda Yıldız, at what you're making me do" Serkan thought for the upteenth time in the last couple of days.
It started the night Eda fulfilled his second wish and came to him. Although it wasn't much of a surprise for him because he just knew it in his bones, felt it in every cell of his body - that she would come. Balca's visit, however, was unexpected. And the moment Serkan saw the woman at his doorstep, a crazy idea sprung up in his mind - to invite her in just to push Eda's buttons. He cringed internally at his own suggestion they had dinner but desperate time called for desperate measures. And Serkan really was desperate. Call it a manipulation, and maybe it was, maybe that's what Eda would claim to be yet another attempt at controlling her, but Serkan was literally starting to go out of his mind. He could no longer stand being so close to her, with no more secrets between them, yet sometimes it seemed they were oceans apart. Eda was slipping away, she had erected a wall around herself, not allowing Serkan to get too close. Every time he thought they had made a step forward, Eda threw them three steps back by bringing up the contract.
Oh, how he hated the damn thing! He wanted to burn it, scatter the ashes in the wind and then proceed with wiping out every electronic copy out of existence.
So, he was basically grasping at straws, when he decided that Balca's presence could help him finally make Eda crack. He wasn't going to act interested because, for one, it would never work, he wouldn't be able to pull it off while Eda even as much as breathed in his general direction. He had, however, noticed Balca's interest, and decided to play along with that, pretending to be clueless about her advances. So he acted polite whenever Balca found an excuse and came to him. He ignored her sitting too close to him, supported her with his arm when she lost her balanced, fought the urge to pull away when she leaned over him or brushed his arm. He turned a blind eye on supposedly accidental touches. And all of that seemed to have been paying off because Eda looked more and more like a ticking bomb ready to explode.
But then their non-date on the skating rink happened and everything was so perfect that Serkan, unable to contain his happiness and feeling light-headed, confessed to Eda in a rush his grand plan to stir jealousy and force her to claim him as her man. Everything Serkan earned after this confession was yet another slap across his face and a "You're unbelievable, Serkan Bolat!".
Today, in the office, Eda had been sulking and demonstratively ignoring him. Add Balca and her unwanted attention, which was getting too bold to remain comfortable, into the mix and what you got would be a very annoyed and exhausted Serkan Bolat.
A knock pulled Serkan from his thoughts. He looked up to see Melek. She smiled blindingly at him and gave him a small wave:
"You busy, Enişte?"
Serkan felt a smile forming on his face upon hearing the word "Enişte", which now between himself and Melek had turned into a form of endearment.
"No, I am free for you. Come in" Serkan said with fondness.
Melek came up to his work desk and pulled a chair to sit down.
"So, what is it? Is it Eda? Is something wrong with Eda?" Serkan felt panic spreading in his chest and looked past Melek, at the open office space, frantically searching for Eda.
He relaxed a little when he saw her sitting at her regular place, studying something closely on her computer.
"Calm down, Enişte. Everything is fine. Dada is fine. Well, apart from being an idiot, she's fine"
"Hm, what? An idiot?" Serkan asked, confused.
"Yes, you are both idiots. Sitting here, brooding, instead of just talking. Look, Dada trusts you. And she wanted to tell you this that night on the skating rink but then you told her that you had been making her jealous on purpose. You know our girl, of course she got pissed off. To her it just looked like another one of your attempts to control her"
"I know that, Melek! I know it was dumb and manipulative. I just... I just wanted her to finally stop hiding behind the contract and do something"
"I understand that. And, I think, Eda does too now. She sees how much you've been trying to change. But you don't have to or need to change change, you know. She's not expecting you to become a different person"
"I am trying to be a better person, for her"
"And I am happy to hear you say that. But... just make sure you're doing it for yourself too, ok? Because you know what Dada said to me yesterday?"
Melek looked at Serkan with a small secretive smile.
"She said:
"Yes, he is a robot and he drives me crazy half of the time with his robotic tendencies. But he's my robot, Melo, you know? And what if he suddenly stops being my robot? What if I come to the office one day and there's a... vanilla prince charming instead of my robot? Looking like him but not actually him".
And then she turned into a crying mess. But my point is - she loves you for who you are. Faults and all. She just has trouble telling you that. I guess a communication problem is something you two have in common"
Serkan just full-on belly-laughed at Melek's comment. He suddenly felt so much lighter. All the worry, doubt, fear and insecurities of the recent days just... vanished. A sense of calm certainty settled inside of him instead. He believed now that him and Eda were gonna be okay. No matter what. No matter who.
Serkan was just about to open his mouth and thank Melek for having put his mind and heart at ease, when another knock echoed in his office and he saw Balca.
"I am sorry for interrupting but I need to discuss something with you, Serkan" said Balca and waved a yellow folder in her hands at him.
"Well, I was actually leaving. You two do your work thing and I will also go, do some... work. See ya around, Enişte!" Melek rambled and jumped to her feet.
"Melek! Thank you! We will talk a bit more later, ok?" Serkan said when Melek was about to exit his office.
"Yeah, sure thing, Enişte!"
Serkan switched his attention to Balca.
"I am listening, Balca, what is it?"
The young woman came to Serkan's desk and pulled out the chair, previously occupied by Melek. Balca took a seat and rolled closer to Serkan, which made her elbow bump into Serkan's forearm. Serkan shifted uncomfortably and tried to focus on the documents Balca had put before him. Balca started explaining that several business magazines wanted to publish interviews with him. She also showed a couple of press releases for him to approve. All in all, she remained professional and the next ten minutes or so passed relatively quickly.
"Ok, you can get in touch with the magazine, tell them I am ready to give an interview. But only on the dates I have mentioned"
"Got it. I will let you know once I hear from them"
Balca started collecting the documents and Serkan looked past her, his eyes searching for Eda. She wasn't, however, at her computer. Serkan scanned the open office space but there was no sign of Eda. So, when Balca rolled back in her chair and stood up, Serkan also got to his feet.
"Are you leaving?" Balca asked.
"No, just want to stretch my legs a bit. Shall we?" Serkan answered and motioned to the doors.
They exited Serkan's office together, with Balca walking closely. Serkan felt Balca's eyes on the side of his face but ignored the weight of her gaze. He noticed Melek sitting at one of the desks and approached her quickly.
"Melek!"
"Enişte?"
"Where is Eda?"
"Oh, I think she went to get a coffee"
"Ok, thank you"
Serkan moved in the direction of their office cafeteria when he noticed Balca following him. He stopped abruptly and Balca almost collided with his back. Serkan turned to face the woman and asked:
"Is there something else you want, Balca?"
"No, I think we've discussed everything" she answered with a smile.
"Then where are you going? I think you wanted to call the magazine and arrange that interview"
"Yes, of course, I will do just that. But I wanted to get some coffee first"
Serkan nodded and motioned for Balca to go forward. They entered the cafeteria together and Serkan immediately noticed Eda at the coffee machine. Eda heard approaching steps and turned her head in the direction of the sound. She visibly tensed upon seeing Balca and Serkan together.
"Eda, can I also get a cup of coffee?" asked Balca, coming to stand beside Eda at the coffee machine.
Even Serkan raised his eyebrows at that.
"By all means, be my guest" Eda motioned to the coffee maker with one of her hands.
She took a half-filled cup in her other hand and brushed past Balca. Eda moved to leave the cafeteria but Serkan quickly followed behind and caught her by the arm.
"Can we talk for a moment, please?" he said in a hushed whisper.
"There's nothing to talk about" Eda responded stubbornly.
"I think there is"
Serkan took Eda's hand and, threading their fingers together, pulled her in the direction of the stairs.
"What are you doing? Let go of my hand! Where are you taking me?" Eda protested.
"I am taking you to my other office on the second floor so that we could talk in private"
"Talk in private? I don't want to talk in private!"
Serkan stopped and turned to Eda with an exasperated sigh.
"You will talk to me"
Serkan pulled on Eda's hand but she refused to move.
"Eda, stop being a child. Let's go"
"I don't want to go. What are you gonna do? Throw me over your shoulder and carry me there?"
"You know, it's a great idea actually" he said dead serious.
Eda's eyes widened comically.
"Don't be ridiculous. Are you crazy? You cannot do such a thing"
"Oh, I can, Eda Yıldız. Because my patience is wearing thin"
"You won't do this"
"Try me"
Eda lifted her hand, still holding a coffee cup, higher.
"You wouldn't dare! I have hot coffee in my hand!"
"So what? You can splash it in my face all you want but then I will definitely throw you over my shoulder"
For the first time since Serkan got to know Eda Yıldız, she seemed lost for words. Serkan stepped closer to her, looked into her big eyes and said, softening his voice:
"Please, let's go and talk"
He tried to pour all his love, all his longing for her into his gaze. He mouthed a "Please" again. Eda's defences crumbled and she nodded quietly.
Never letting go of Eda's hand, Serkan led her upstairs to his office. Once they were inside, Serkan locked the door to prevent anyone from barging in. He moved to the couch and Eda followed, taking a seat beside him. Serkan shifted so that he was facing Eda who was now awkwardly nursing a cup of coffee between her hands. She brought it to her lips the same moment Serkan said:
"So, I am your robot"
Eda choked on her lukewarm coffee and started coughing violently. Serkan cursed at himself and took Eda's cup from her hands.
"Sorry" he mumbled.
He put her cup on the coffee table and handed her a tissue. Eda wiped at her hands and face, still coughing.
"Let me get you some water"
Serkan grabbed a water bottle from the coffee table and uncapped it for her.
"Here, drink this" he said, offering her the bottle.
Eda took it and made a couple of long gulps.
"Thank you" she finally managed to say.
"You okay?"
"Yes, I am, I'm fine" Eda nodded.
"So..."
Serkan rubbed his hands together and looked at Eda pointedly.
"Oh, shut up!" Eda exclaimed in embarrassment.
"I didn't say anything!"
"Your smug face is saying plenty"
"Well, I cannot help myself" Serkan said with a wide smile, his dimples showing.
"Melo told you, didn't she? Of course she told you! Offf...ya!"
Eda covered her face with both of her hands. Serkan moved from the couch and onto his knees, directly in front of Eda. He took her hands in his and pulled them from her face.
"Hey, look at me" he said softly.
Eda lifted her face, her cheeks tinged pink with embarrassment, and looked into Serkan's eyes.
"There's nothing to feel embarrassed about because nothing about what you said is silly or untrue. I am your robot. Yours only" Serkan told her with conviction.
Eda's face lit up with happiness, adoration and so much love. She cupped both of his cheeks with her hands, her eyes finding his.
"I love you, you know that? For who you are. Just the way you are. You don't need to change for me to love you" she told him.
"But I want to change. I want to be better for you" Serkan said.
"Well, if you want to... Just don't do this because you think it's something I want from you. All I need is you. Your love, your trust, your respect. Let's give each other all of that, ok? If we trust and support each other and talk to each other, we will be okay"
"We will, right?"
"Yes" Eda nodded with a smile and pressed her forehead to his.
Serkan closed his eyes, just living and breathing in the moment. They were sitting like this, in comfortable silence, for several minutes when Serkan finally whispered:
"You want to know my third wish?"
Eda chuckled and pulled away slightly.
"You know I do, I am curious like that" she said with a smile.
Serkan reached into his pants pocket and pulled out Eda's flower ring. He heard Eda gasp: "Serkan!"
"I know now is not the right time. But very soon, when you're ready, I want you to put this ring back on and never take it off again. And once it's back on your finger, I want to put another one here" he pulled her left hand from his face and ran his thumb over her ring finger.
Serkan watched Eda's eyes fill with tears when he asked in a whisper: "Okay?"
Eda nodded and whispered back: "Okay".
___________________________________________
The rest of the day went in a blur. Serkan felt like a teenager. Only he never felt this light, happy and carefree when he actually was a teen.
He was basically useless at work, unable to concentrate, so he just stopped trying and was watching Eda instead. From time to time he would ask her to come into his office. She pretended to be exasperated but the smiles she couldn't contain betrayed her.
Balca came by several times. She caught on his mood change immediately:
"You seem different. Happier. You weren't like that in the morning"
"Well, I received some good news"
"That's wonderful! Care to share?"
"It's personal"
The second Balca left his office with a tight smile and a dry nod, Serkan's eyes drifted to Eda but she wasn't at her desk. Serkan got to his feet and went out of his office, in search for Eda. He peaked into the conference room but found it empty and went to check the cafeteria. The only person there was Melek.
"Melek!"
"Enişte!"
"Have you seen Eda?"
"Hm... no. The last time I saw her she was working at her computer"
"Well, she isn't there now"
"She was going to leave earlier because she's got classes at the university but it's not the time yet"
There was clicking of heels and both Serkan and Melek turned to the source of the sound only to see Balca.
Serkan brought his attention back to Melo:
"Well, if you see her, please, tell her that I am looking for her"
"Will do, Enişte!" Melek responded enthusiastically and retreated, without even acknowledging Balca's presence.
Serkan moved to the coffee maker. Taking a cup for himself, he turned to Balca, who had taken a seat at the counter, and asked:
"Coffee?"
"Yes, thank you"
Serkan took another cup, placed it next to his own and switched on the coffee maker which started gurgling.
"Can I ask you something?" he heard Balca say.
Serkan looked at her and nodded silently.
"Why does Melek keep calling you her Enişte?" Balca asked, confused.
Serkan furrowed his brows, puzzled by the audacity of the question.
"Because I am her Enişte"
"But you and Eda are not married"
"Not on paper, not yet"
Serkan heard a telling click of the coffee machine and turned to fill the cups with hot liquid. He faced Balca again, who was watching him with an unreadable expression, and placed one of the coffees in front of her.
"Anyway, it's just a technicality. Because it feels like we are. Married, I mean" Serkan said and took his cup.
He held it up in a "Cheers!" move and dropped a "Enjoy your coffee" before exiting the cafeteria.
Once Serkan entered the open work space, he noticed Eda immediately. He approached her desk with: "Eda? Can you come into my office for a minute?"
Eda nodded silently and stood from her seat, following him. Once they were in his office, Serkan placed his coffee on the desk and turned to face Eda. She came to stand before him, but there was too much space between them, so Serkan took her hand and pulled Eda to him. She stumbled forward and basically fell on his chest with a chuckle.
"What are you doing? We're at work, remember?"
"Oh, I do. Otherwise I would be kissing you right now"
Eda's cheeks turned red.
"Stop it" she whisper-yelled at him.
"Why? That's true"
"You're such a dork"
"And you're perfect" Serkan said, meaning it with every cell in his body, every drop of his blood.
Eda shook her head with a smile:
"Romantic robot"
"Your romantic robot"
"Yes, my romantic robot" she agreed and added in a whisper: "I love you, Serkan Bolat"
"Our feelings are mutual, Eda Yıldız" he whispered back.
They kept staring at each other with dopey smiles on their faces for several more minutes before Serkan asked:
"Where have you been? I missed you"
"Don't be ridiculous, I just went to the ladies' room. I was away for like five minutes"
"Well, felt like an hour to me"
"You're hopeless. What are you gonna do when I leave in an hour and you don't see me until tomorrow morning?"
Serkan looked at her confused:
"What do you mean I won't see you until tomorrow morning? I thought we would meet after you finish your classes"
"Well, I finish quite late and then I have to go home because I promised Hala to help her with something"
"Well, I could pick you up after you help your aunt"
"I think it will be too late for us to go anywhere"
"Then we will just spend time at my place. You could stay the night" Serkan suggested, licking at his lips nervously.
Eda bit on her bottom lip and Serkan's eyes zeroed in on it, as if he was being hypnotized.
"Hey!" Eda's fingers snapped right in front of his face.
"Hm? Yes?"
"I am saying: we will spend the whole day together tomorrow. And I promise that we will leave work together and then do whatever you want or go wherever you want. And..." Eda moved closer to Serkan to whisper into his ear: "I might stay the night".
Serkan choked on air as well as his own saliva. Eda moved away from him with a suggestive smile.
The next hour was spent daydreaming and sneaking glances at Eda. Then Pırıl came with yet another crisis and Serkan got a bit distracted, managing to finally focus on something for the first time during the day. When at some point Serkan had a chance to lift his head from the papers, scattered before him, he noticed that Eda was gathering her things, getting ready to leave. He was about to stand and go to her, but Eda shook her head "No" with a smile and motioned for him to continue with what he was doing. She just looked at him for a moment and then mouthed: "I love you" - add blew him a tiny kiss.
Serkan grinned at her and mouthed back his own "I love you".
The rest of the day was surprisingly busy. By the time Serkan had dealt with all problems at the office, it was rather late. He texted Eda to call him once she was free. Then he drove home, went about his evening routine, checking his phone every now and then. No messages or missed calls from Eda. Serkan was getting anxious, when he finally heard a tell-tale sound of an incoming video call. Blowing out a breath he didn't realise he had been holding, Serkan answered his phone and finally felt himself relax, when he saw Eda's face, with her blinding smile and eyes that were dancing with mischief. They talked until Eda literally fell asleep holding a phone in her hand. Serkan looked at her peaceful sleeping face for several minutes before he finally disconnected the call. He felt uneasy, however. The moment he could no longer see her face, a strange nagging feeling settled somewhere in his stomach. He did his best to ignore it and tried to sleep.
____________________________________________
The morning found Serkan Bolat completely beaten. He practically hadn't slept all night. When he did manage to doze off, he was pulled from sleep by a strange feeling. It was a physical discomfort, reaction akin to anaphylactic shock that he had experienced only once in his life. Going into full-on panic mode, a hypochondriac that he was, Serkan called his family doctor. Once Delek Hanım came and examined him, she told him that he was completely fine physically and his condition was purely psychological. Serkan argued that there was nothing that could have triggered basically a panic attack. Quite the opposite - things were finally looking up for him and Eda. He had her back.
"Well, this can be the reaction to some impending stress. Maybe there's something important, some event coming that you might be worried about?" Delek Hanım asked.
Serkan just shook his head. He then thanked the doctor and after she left, immediately dialed Eda's number. She didn't pick up.
"It's fine, everything is fine" Serkan mumbled to himself while looking through his call log.
Once he found Melek's name, he started a call. Melo picked up on the third ring:
"Good morning, Enişte!"
"Good morning, Melek. I called Eda but she didn't answer. Is everything ok?"
"She's probably driving, that's why she didn't pick up. She left early today. Ayfer Abla had some special orders at the flower shop so Dada volunteered to help. She will go straight to the office once she deals with the flowers"
Serkan calmed down a bit after having heard that but there still was uncomfortable tightness in his chest. He was rubbing at the spot while he was driving to work, but it only got worse once Serkan arrived at the office. A tie around his neck started choking him so he had to get rid of the damn thing.
Melek came but there was still no sign of Eda.
Alarms started going off in Serkan's head when a concerned-looking Ceren showed up. Serkan came up to her while she was talking to Melo.
"What's going on? Where is Eda?"
The girls looked at each other, then at Serkan, and Ceren said:
"We don't know. None of us can reach her. She's not answering any of the calls or messages"
Serkan almost growled in frustration when his phone started ringing. He pulled it from his pocket hustily, only to see that it was his mother calling. He picked up with: "Mom, it's not the right time, I will call..." but stopped dead when he heard a sob and his mother's weak "Serkan, dear...".
"Mom?..." he asked timidly and didn't recognize his own voice.
Because it wasn't his voice, it wasn't the voice of a grown-up man, it was a boy's voice, the one a scared child would have.
"Mom, please, tell me she is okay"
"I am so sorry, dear..."
His phone slipped from his fingers and cluttered to the floor.
(to be continued... maybe 👀)

Serkan's Fairy Girl, Eda's Robot - Give In To Love
Summary: This is just my take on what happened in between Edser officially getting back together.
A/N: Warning for Smut and emotions.
This is roughly edited because I had to take my mom to her doctor's appointment.
“I need to see the tattoo.”
Serkan’s words echoed in her head, her heart pounded against her chest.
If she showed him the tattoo that was it. There was no turning back?
Was she ready for that? Was she ready to forget the pain, the anger, the regret? Was she ready to leave it all behind and embrace the love in her heart? Was she ready to let her fear go and trust him not to break her?
Yes, she was.
Keeping her eyes locked with his she held her hand out to him.
Serkan slid his hand into hers, and allowed her to pull him inside, he shut the door behind him. His hand tightened around hers, lacing their fingers together as they started up the stairs.
Eda led him into her room and shut the door behind her. Serkan released her hand to draw her into the circle of his arms.
One arm circled her waist while the other cup her cheek, his rubbing across her smooth cheek.
God, she was even more beautiful than the day he first saw her, and her eyes, those beautiful eyes captivated his soul. She had his heart, mind, body, and soul to do whatever she wanted with.
Eda cupped his face, her nails scratching through his beard.
Serkan closed his eyes at the feeling, letting himself just be taken over by her closeness and her touch.
Serkan pulled her more against him, arms wrapping her in a warm embrace. Eda wrapped her arms around his neck, clinging tightly to him.
Serkan tucked his face in her neck and breathed her intoxicating scent in.
“I know we have a lot to talk about,” Serkan said, pulling back, his fingers trailing through her soft hair. “And we can’t just sweep everything under the rug but can we just have tonight? Can we keep it simple and just be two people in love spending the night in each other’s arms?”
Eda leaned up, pressing her lips against his, she pulled back a moment later, a soft smile playing on her lips. “Let it just be us tonight, following our hearts.”
Serkan's lips met hers in a slow kiss, her hands traced his arms while his smooth over her back down to her hip and back up, his hand slipping beneath the fabric of her shirt.
Eda had almost forgotten the way his hand could nearly expand her entire back, the heat from his hand was sinking into her skin. Her lips parted on a sigh and Serkan took the opportunity to deepen the kiss, his tongue slipping inside and plundering her mouth.
Sher gripped him tighter, arching into him. She felt like she couldn’t get close enough, breaking the kiss she held his face in her hands, her forehead pressed to his. “Do you still want to see it?”
“See it?” Serkan’s mind was muddled and all he could think about was Eda’s warm skin beneath the palm of his hand, and the taste of her lips, her soft body pressing into his.
“Our tattoo.” Eda's smile widened as his clear confusion.
Serkan nodded abruptly.
Eda reached for the hem of her shirt and lift it slowly, pulling it over her head. Her breasts were encased in a black bra and just beneath her left breast was their tattoo.
Serkan reached out his thumb brushing against the mark, he scooped her in his arms without warning.
“Serkan,” Eda exclaimed, her arms going around his neck,
He gently laid her on the bed and climbed over her, his lips immediately finding the tattoo.
Eda ran her hands over his shoulders, arching into his mouth as his tongue traced the curved of the tattoo.
Serkan’s lips slowly moved over the top of her breast, her collarbone, her neck, beneath her jawbone before finally finding her lips again, his body settling perfectly against hers.
Eda’s fingers found the buttons of his shirt as the kiss deepened.
Neither broke the kiss when she pushed the shirt off his shoulders, Serkan quickly discarded the shirt and was back to pulling her against him, the skin-to-skin contact like a balm for his lonely soul.
Eda pushed at his chest and he leaned up on his knees, she followed, reaching for his buckle.
Serkan watched as she pulled his belt free then reached behind her unfastening her bra and sliding it down her arms and tossing it aside.
His hands found her breast as she unfastens his jeans, pushing at the material.
With a groan he moved his hand away from her body and stood, kicking off his shoes and yanking his boxers and pants down.
He moved toward her and leaned down pressing a kiss to her navel before unfastening her pants, removing her heels, and pulling the fabric down her legs, leaving her in a pair of black lace panties.
Serkan fought back a groaned.
Serkan circled her ankles and slid his hands slowly, up her legs, squeezing her calves and thighs, and moving higher until he reaches the thin fabric of her panties resting on her hips. His thumb hooked in the sides and he dragged the small scrap of lace down her legs, tossing it over his shoulder.
Eda moved further up the bed, holding her arms out to him.
Serkan follows kissing up her body, starting with her hipbone and working his way up, sucking and nipping at her skin as he went.
Eda’s breath was labored by the time he reached her, heart-pounding and Eda couldn’t take it anymore, she grasps his face in her hands and pulled back to her mouth.
Her kiss was needy, a whine leaving the back of her throat.
Serkan deepened the kiss his mouth plundering hers as his hands mapped out every inch of her skin.
Eda clenched her thighs as her sex clamped on emptiness. She needed him. Needed to feel him being one with her. Needed to express their love in the most physically intimate way possible. “Please,”
It was one word but it matched the need and want clawing to the surface inside him.
His hands gripped the back of her thighs and moved them higher on his hips, he reached between them, sliding the length of his cock between her folds, coating himself in her arousal.
Eda gasped, her need increasing. "Serkan."
Serkan positioned the head of his cock at her entrance but didn't push inside of her. His right hand slid back up her body, stopping on her breast to palm it and roll her nipple between his thumbs.
Eda lifted her hips and the head of his cock slip inside her.
Serkan groaned, his hand on her breast slid higher, gripping her hand he laced their fingers and pinned it to the bed, his other hand held tightly to her hip. "I love you,"
A warmth spread through her, cooling down her desperation. She cupped his cheek. "I love you, too."
Serkan’s heart felt lighter than it had in years hearing her say the words he longed to hear, the words he dreamed of her saying to him again.
He kissed her softly before pulling back to lock their gazes and he sunk into her. She wrapped around him tightly, squeezing, he pushed further inside her until he was unsure where she began and he ended.
Eda’s mouth parted, her chest rising and falling. She felt full and complete with him buried inside her, their fingers laced, his weight over her, his scent surrounding her.
Serkan kept still, not ready to move, giving her time to adjust and just relishing the feel of being one with her again.
He leaned forward, placing kisses against her jaw down her neck and over every inch of skin he could reach, his tongue darting out to taste her.
Eda gasped as his teeth nipped at her collarbone. She buried her hands in his hair and tugged him back to her mouth, kissing him deeply.
Serkan groaned as she used the back of heels to dig into his ass, trying to push him in deeper.
He ripped his mouth from her skin and withdrew slowly, before pushing back inside her just as slow.
Eda gasped, she could feel every inch of him pushing back inside, every thrust, every push, the grind of hips against hers. He built her up slowly, tenderly, and seeing the pleasure on his face, the love in his eyes, God, she couldn’t remember it ever being this intense.
It was unbelievable and amazing, soon, she was writhing beneath him, saying his name again and again. The coil of heat inside of her pulling tighter and tighter.
She was so close, but she needed more. Somehow, he wasn’t close enough. How was that possible when he was buried so deep inside her?
“Serkan, please, Serkan,” She pleaded.
“Eda,” Serkan groaned, he released his grip on her and arm, bracing himself on his elbows, he gathered her in his arms and Eda shifted her legs higher, her thighs squeezing around him, hands clinging tightly to his back.
Much to Eda’s dismay, Serkan kept up the slow thrust, but it was somehow worse as her chest was pressed so tightly against his, she could feel the beat of his heart against her breast, his body hard against her soft one.
When Serkan’s mouth found her neck as he kept up with his thrust she lost it, she writhed beneath him, needy whimpers pulled from the back of her throat. “Please.” She clamped down on him, trying to pull him in deeper.
“Fuck,” It was Serkan’s undoing, he pulled back and snapped his hips back against hers driving into her hard and fast.
Eda threw her head back in pleasure, she met him thrust for thrust as he drove into her deeper and deeper.
Her eyes slid shut, losing sight of everything else as the pleasure consumed her. When his teeth grazed across her skin, he grounded his hips against her, his cock pushing against a spot inside her that had her seeing stars behind her closed eyelids, she came without warning, his name pulled from her chest.
Serkan groaned as she came around him, her walls sucking him in deeper, squeezing his dick, he felt a tingle in his balls. His cock pulsing, losing his rhythm he came a few thrusts later as she squeezed him for every drop he had, his face buried in her neck as he groaned her name over and over.
Serkan kept his weight, braced on his arms as Eda’s hand smooth through his hair and slid down his back, her touch loving. He pressed his lips to her neck, just breathing her in.
Eda pressed a kiss to his shoulder and whimpered when he eased out of her.
Eda turned over onto her side and reached behind her for him, Serkan came willingly wrapping himself around her, his arm curling around her waist and holding her against him.
Eda grabbed his hand, lacing their fingers together and holding it to her chest.
“I missed you.” Serkan pressed his lips against her neck.
Eda, tired, lifted his hand to her lips and kiss each knuckle before burrowing back against him, struggling to keep her eyes open.
Serkan tightened his arm around her dragging her back against him and tuck his face into her neck, letting his own body finally rest.
When morning came Serkan felt like he was living a dream, Eda was in his arms, her naked skin pressed against his, and somehow how she was even more beautiful in the morning than the night before.
A/N: Thanks for reading.
Carefully abstracting himself from around her, he went to the bathroom, relieved himself, washed his hands, and pulled on his boxers.
He returned minutes later with a rose in hand, he placed it on the nightstand, removed his boxers, liting the bed cover he slid back under and gently pulled Eda back into his arms, relaxing as she curled into him, her breast pressed into his side, her head on his chest and her hand resting over his heart. He grabbed the rose and held it, waiting for her to open those beautiful brown eyes, hoping it will be the start of their lives together.
A/N: Thanks for reading!

Surrendered-EdSer OS
Eda did not know what she was doing, or why she was doing it. This was the first time in 25 years of her life that she had felt defeated and helpless. Caught in a series of unfortunate circumstances, and life’s treacherous ploughs, she was once again left alone. Her parent's untimely death had left scars on her soul, she could not escape the demons of her past. When Serkan entered her life, she believed that life would be easier. She will finally have someone, who will help her to breathe in the confines of a dark, closed room.
Little did she know, life does not work according to our beliefs. Destiny had plans for her, thrilling yet gruesome. She had imagined getting graduated, with a degree in landscape architect with hope and happiness in eyes. She did graduate, but there was nothing instead of anguish, and loneliness in her eyes.
Not even in her wildest dreams she had imagined to lose Serkan, her first true love. She was so used to be pampered by his love and affection that for once not being on the receiving end broke her into pieces.
It had been eight months since that fateful day. They heard that his plane went missing, they were supposed to get married. Once she had waited for her parents to come and take her away, but they never came back. This time she waited for Serkan to come and make her his lawful wife but he never.
If this trauma wasn’t enough already, she was met by another volcano that hit her so hard that she couldn’t believe she had managed to survive that pain.
He forgot her.
He didn’t have any memories of her.
He hated her.
Serkan Bolat was no longer her Robot Bolat.
After his arrival to Art Life, Eda had imagined it would be difficult to revive those memories he had forgotten but she hadn’t imagined that it would be nearly impossible to win back his love. It was as if he had returned with a stone instead of heart.
Her numerous attempts, pleadings, actions, could not move him. She wondered what was missing that he could not see her as his soulmate anymore.
She tried and tried and one fine day, Eda gave up, for his sake. It took a great deal of courage for her to accept the fact that he was not in love with her, and he won’t fall for her again. It was useless to torment him with her forceful behavior.
He wanted the holding. Of course
It was exactly why he had borne her existence around him for six months otherwise, he would have kicked her out of his life the moment he back to Art Life that day.
Yes, she was giving up on love. Not because she was a coward but because she was selfless, and she chose his happiness over hers. His happiness lied with his work and Selin.
Selin was his logical decision. She was the one, who fitted his lifestyle.
After the failure of her attempts, Eda decided to accept the job proposal from a renowned architect company in Paris, Alcmea.
She had been disregarding it for his sake but eventually Eda decided that it was meant for her. She was longer meant for Serkan or Istanbul. She had to leave for his peace and her sanity. There was no point of living in Istanbul after selling her shares to Serkan, there was no point of breathing the same air after losing him to Selin.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
One last time
She breathed nervously, wearing her silver earrings gifted by Aydan Bolat herself as a graduation present. Ferit and Ceren had thrown her a part before her farewell party, there was no excuse to avoid for otherwise they all would have thought that she is leaving with a sad heart.
Not that they were believing her otherwise.
She had to wear the mask of a jubilated Eda, who finally got the chance to work abroad, and make her dreams come true. She had a long way to go and Eda had decided that she won’t allow her failed love story to come in the way of her career. That’s something she was assertive of.
Clad in a long black evening gown, she looked breathtaking like always.
Yet he won’t notice. Neither her dress nor the charm bracelet she was wearing tonight. Not as a hope but as a way to get rid of some memories.
If she had decided to move on, and leave everything behind, she had to let go.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Eda arrived late at the party; it was her way to avoid him. She wanted to meet everyone one last time for few minutes and leave as soon as possible.
He was looking for someone, her heart did not skip a beat because it wasn’t her. His eyes immediately caught Selin’s and she could tell his eyes only searched her.
Ferit announced everyone to get on the floor with their respective partners for a dance. Well, she didn’t have one so he offered her his hand immediately. Probably to save her from the embarrassment.
“You don’t have to, I’m fine.” She muttered shyly.
“Oh, come on! By the way, I wasn’t going to invite Selin, Ceren insisted because then it would’ve been odd.”
“That wouldn’t have changed anything! There’s no way he’s coming back even if Selin isn’t around.”
“He’s brainwashed by her Eda-”
Eda cut him off immediately, “Don’t- Ferit please Don’t. Have you brought the ring? Ceren is anticipating the proposal, if you’re late this time she will probably fly to Paris with me.” She joked, hiding the pain behind her eyes.
“All’s set. It will be soon, and you’ll be the first person to hear about it.” He winked and twirled her.
He caught her.
She was in his arms just like old times.
Breathe Eda. Not Anymore.
She held her head high in defiance, acting unaffected by his touch. She didn’t blame him for anything. It did hurt her though that he didn’t keep his promise of falling in love with her hundred times.
He had said that if he was born a hundred times, he will fall for her. He couldn’t live up to his words in the same life. Yet, she had no complaints, she accepted this as destiny’s decision and decided to remain determine in her stance.
She was acting good enough, not even for a second he could feel her nervousness or accelerated heartbeat.
She remained silent, closely following their twirling feet, and entwined hands. Acting as if perfecting this dance was the only thing she was interested.
He broke the silence by clearing his throat. “When is your flight?”
“Tonight” Her reply was simple, devoid of any emotions.
“have a safe flight Eda Yildiz.”
“Sao” She passed an awfully professional smile, avoiding to look at him in the eye. Though she could feel his gaze on her. His eyes hadn’t left her face for a second.
Why does he want now?
He placed his hands on her waist, his masculine hands perfectly fitted her petite waist like always.
Her arms were entwined around his neck securely. One last time, she wished to touch him. There were boundaries by inhaling his wood scent was more than enough.
Gladly, he pulled her closer by himself. She didn’t have to struggle. There was nothing intimate about that gesture. He was just dancing.
‘You look beautiful.’ He uttered silently. Eda knew him enough to tell that his compliment escaped his lips without taking permission from his mind.
It doesn’t matter.
“You too.”
“Beautiful? Me?” He raised his eyebrow in curiosity.
“Pardon if you don’t appreciate to be referred with a feminine adjective.” He was trying to be funny but Eda was beyond exhausted to indulge in a friendly conversation. She was not going to surrender.
‘I- I didn’t mean that.” He attempted to explain himself. “Where would you be staying in Paris?”
Eda wanted to tell him that she had chosen the apartment that he had bought for them few days before their wedding. She wanted to tell him that their apartment in Paris was waiting for them but she decided against it.
“Deniz arranged a place.” Something inside her pushed her to say that.
“His place?” He asked incredulously, tightening his grip around her waist.
“You need not to know.” She denied him simply. A part of her knew that he wasn’t affected by these childish jealousy stunts but yet her impulsive self couldn’t from being so open about it.
“I’m sorry, it wasn’t my place to ask you about it.”
He waited for her to say anything but she remained awfully quiet. He was not used to this. He was not used to her ignoring him.
Eda began to feel suffocated, the tips of his fingers were drumming against her bare back, synching with the music of piano. She had to let go or she would faint in his arms or breakdown into tears immediately.
“Excuse me.”
She distanced herself from his embrace, they hadn’t realized in the darkness of the room that they had been barely inches away from each other.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
This place was special, they had their contract right at this spot, fought, expressed love, he broke up wit her here, and the last beautiful memory was, when he gifted her that charm bracelet.
She was wearing it tonight.. Of course, he hadn’t noticed that too.
Eda was staring at the stars, this was her last night in Istanbul. She didn’t plan to come back ever.
“It must be hard for you eda hanim” Her thought process was disrupted by Erdem. Their bond had strengthened over the course of eight months.
“You know very well that I have seen experienced something even harder than this Erdem.” She replied in misery but both knew that Eda was talking about something. Something that was known by him but not anyone else in that office.
“Don’t you think he should know?” Erdem said, scared of her reaction
“There is nothing he should know, as if what he knows already had made any difference”
“I always wonder if I had told fifi about my feelings in a much serious manner, she might had stayed.” Erdem sighed. This side of Erdem was only known to Eda, even she was amazed that this one existed.
“We can't stop the ones who want to leave”
“But he deserves to know- at least- about the baby” Erdem hesitated, he did not want to bring this up but considering this as her last night in Istanbul he wished she’d listen to him.
“Erdem git.” Eda looked at him surprised. Her eyes brimmed with tears and pain. She wasn’t mad at him but surprised that he chose to remind her of that night.
“I’m stupid, an absolute fool but I do know one thing that no father deserves-” He wasn’t stopping, he mustered the courage to finish his sentence.
“I’ve already burdened him with the forgotten memories of our love. I can’t make him think about a baby who died before coming to this world.” Hiding her pain behind her mask, she took a sip from her wine. Showing as if talking about this wasn’t shattering her soul into a million pieces.
“Erdem, You and leyla are the only ones who know about my miscarriage. You have kept your word till now, I expect that both of you will keep your word and continue to hide this truth from everyone.”
“Till my last breath, Eda hanim.” Erdem’s voice broke, he hugged Eda instantly. She led out a chuckle and hugged him back.
Erdem was indeed annoying but he had been there for her at a very crucial stage of her life. His support helped her through the most difficult phase of her life.
She had kept her pregnancy as a secret. She was not in the condition to come to terms with the fact herself.
It was only leyla and erdem, who knew. They were there, that night when it happened.
“I have to go.” She sniffed.
Erdem bid her goodbye and turned his back to find a stumped figure of none other than Serkan Bolat himself.
They froze.
What do you know about pain?
It never ends
What do you about healing?
It takes time
What do you know about realizations?
They arrive when it’s too late

When the fandom ask you to write a kiss that didn’t happen...
Tumblr media
Eda
The man was infuriating. She barely noticed it was raining outside, that am as how angry she was. It was like talking to a door. He didn’t get it. ‘Eda, wait. Eda!’ She couldn’t believe she thought he was actually about to apologize to her. What was she thinking? Serkan Bolat apologized to nobody. ‘What? Eda what? What do you still want from me?’ He stopped her and pulled her forward, but he didn’t have to because it happened again. What always happened with them whenever they were this close. His hand cupped her cheek, eyes trained on her lips while he covered them with his own surprisingly soft ones. She always thought that whenever they kissed again for real it was going to be hard and aggressive, but it wasn’t.
Their kiss was filled with purpose, but he was kissing her so tenderly, she couldn't remember how to breathe. His mouth opened, making hers to do much of the same. Then, as if he was drinking her in, he angled his head to kiss her as deeply as he could and as it happened the first time, she put her hands on both sides of his face. And she felt his also cradling her face.  It was like they were both afraid of what it would happen when their kiss ended, which made her kiss him even harder. He groaned deep in his throat when she did that, sliding one of his hands to the back of her neck, while he put his other arm around her waist and brought her lower body right against his. Every hard muscle of his body was pressed up against hers, and she could feel every one of them while they kissed. She felt she was running out of air and began to bring her head back a little, only to feel his hand tightening a bit at the back of her head. He was mistaken if he thought she wanted to end their kiss,  she just didn’t want to face what was coming afterwards. She was sure he was going to go all cold robot on her. Slowly, he put his forehead against hers, their breaths still mingling, eyes closed, ‘talk to me. Will you come back to the house with me?’
‘Eda, lütfen? It’s pouring down here.’ She noticed he had her hand tight in his, looked up at him, nodded her head and followed him inside, wishing they could also postpone that conversation for another whole day...

Well, I wanted to write a fix-it fic of sorts, an alternative morning after for episode 26. And I will, pinky promise. But after the fragmans for episode 27 and our babies in all their engaged glory, I was also attacked by this idea to start a collection of short one-shots centred around married Edser.
So here we go. The first short piece.
I don't own any of the characters or the show. They all belong to Sen Çal Kapımı writers, the production company and FOX channel. This is only fanfiction.

Married Shenanigans. Part 1.
Eda's feet were barely touching the ground. She still couldn't believe all of it was actually real. Her and Serkan got married today. They were now officially husband and wife. And she... She was no longer Eda Yıldız. From now on she was Eda Bolat. Even the thought alone made her grin like a lunatic as she was zipping her suitcase. She brought it downstairs and placed it by the door the exact moment the doorbell rang. She swung the door open. What Eda saw was truly sight to behold - her new husband, grinning from ear to ear and bouncing on his feet. Serkan Bolat was bouncing. Eda let out a giggle at that.
"Ne?" Serkan asked, a little bashfully.
"Nothing," Eda responded with a smile and a shake of her head.
"So, are you packed and ready?"
"Yeah," Eda nodded at her suitcase by the door.
Serkan eyed it sceptically, then looked at Eda.
"Are you serious? Another suitcase with flipflops inside?"
"What? No! I have everything I need there".
"What about the rest of your stuff? Because I was going to hire a movers truck to bring it all to our place so you can, you know, move in".
"I, well, I... I haven't packed anything yet," Eda stuttered, a bit lost.
"What? Why? Eda!"
"I didn't really have time! Everything happened so quickly! Our engagement, then henna night and all the craziness after it. And then the wedding. I have barely had enough time to breathe, let alone pack my whole life".
"Fine, we'll do this together next week".
"Next week?"
"Yes, we're taking a week off".
"Why?" Eda asked confused.
"Because we're newlyweds, it's our honeymoon. You know, it usually follows the wedding," Serkan explained, as if talking to a child.
"A honeymoon. We're going to have a week-long honeymoon?"
"Yes, Eda!"
"Who are you?" Eda teased him with a smile.
"You know, there's this amazing, beautiful, smart, funny woman. Eda Bolat is her name. Well, I am her husband," Serkan retorted, his own grin risking to split his face in two.
He pulled Eda to him and she went willingly. Serkan pecked her lips softly and squeezed Eda's hand.
"Get your flipflops and let's go home," Serkan murmured.
They went hand in hand to Serkan's car. Shortly after they arrived at Serkan's apartment which was now their home. Serkan even went as far as carry a laughing Eda over the threshold. They got Eda's suitcase into the bedroom upstairs and fixed a light late dinner together. Even though they had had a small wedding reception with their loved ones, neither of them had touched any food, too wired to eat. So they were both pretty hungry. After having eaten, they started cleaning up together. Perfect team work with Eda washing the dishes and Serkan drying them.
Eda rinsed the last plate and handed it to Serkan, who was standing to her right, facing the stairs leading to the second level of the apartment. Serkan started drying the plate but his gaze was fixed on the stairs, his brows furrowed, as if he was calculating something.
"What's wrong?" Eda asked him softly.
"Nothing. Nothing's wrong. Just thinking".
"What are you thinking about?"
"It's a good thing you haven't packed your stuff and we haven't moved it here. Because we're gonna need to find a new place," Serkan said, still looking at the stairs, but with a hint of suspicion and weird hostility.
"What? Why? What's wrong with this place?"
"Well, these stairs, for one. Look at them. They're not fit for children. They're dangerous".
Eda's could swear that her brain short circuited.
"Children? What children?"
"Our children," Serkan said without even blinking.
He said it with such calm and confidence that Eda couldn't help but smile.
"Oh, we have some children I don't know about?" she asked teasingly.
Her words made Serkan tear his gaze from the stairs. He got a bit flustered, the tips of his ears turning slightly red.
"Well, I mean... I mean when we have children. When we decide that we're ready. Then. Then we'll have to... You know... Make sure there are no... dangerous stairs".
"Yeah, definitely. We will. But now is not the time. I mean, I need to finish my education first, get my degree. And you have so much work, so many projects".
"Of course. You will get your diploma. And there's your dream to go to Italy. We will go together. And then... well..."
"And then, yes. We will grow our family," Eda agreed with a smile.
Serkan gifted her with a somewhat shy smile of his own.
"You know, I never thought about kids. I never really wanted to be a father. But with you... With you I want it all," he confessed.
"Our feelings are mutual, Serkan Bolat. One day".
"One day," Serkan nodded.
"But before that I think we should practise," Eda said with a wink and pulled on Serkan's hand, leading him to the stairs and to their bedroom.

Because my mind is evil and hates me, after having seen a new fragman, it keeps telling me that it's too good to be true. Obviously, there will be some great progress. Like, c'mon, Serkan is out of denial territory and actually tells Engin (yeah, OUT LOUD, using words) that he's feeling all sorts of feelings around Eda. But Serkan's eyes right before he kisses her keep haunting me. Something is just not right. And paired with the fact that Ceren comes to see him... She will do something, tell him something, I swear. And not just about the fake engagement with Deniz, I'm afraid. She can very well make something up and add it like a cherry on top.
So, as I've already mentioned a couple of times, I'm on one-way Train to Hell, my beautiful SCK people.
This one-shot is gonna be bad. Like I'm coming up with the worst case scenarios in my head. That's just one of them. ‼️Read at your own risk. This is not happy. Heavy Angst ahead‼️
I don't own the show or any of the characters. They belong to the SCK writers, the production company and FOX channel.
This is only fanfiction.

It's Like A Slow Death
Eda feels hair on her arms and at the back of her neck stand on end. She whips around and sees him, approaching her slowly, with a strange look on his face.
"Serkan? What are you doing here?" she breathes out.
He says nothing and keeps walking towards her instead. He comes close and stops.
Eda looks at him and knows immediately that something is wrong, so terribly wrong. Because his eyes... They take her back to that horrible night at the terrace of Art Life, when he ripped her heart out and stomped on it for good measure. There was the same cold, indifference and emptiness in his orbs. But now... now there's more. He's looking at her with contempt and menace.
Eda doesn't get a chance to even open her mouth and ask what could've possibly happened to make him look at her like this. Serkan pulls her in for a harsh kiss. Never have his kisses felt wrong. But this one does. This one makes Eda's insides twist and she wants to pull away. She puts both of her hands on Serkan's chest to shoves at it, making him stumble back a little and effectively disconnecting their lips.
"What? Isn't it what you wanted?" he asks mockingly.
Eda shakes her head and tries to say something but Serkan beats her to it.
"Don't bother pretending or lying. I know everything. Ceren told me about your schemes, your lies and manipulations. Selin warned me about you. And now I see that everything she told me is true. It speaks volumes what kind of a person you're, if even your closest friend can no longer keep silent".
"Ce... Ceren?" Eda barely whispers in confusion.
She wants to draw breath but cannot and her lungs start burning. Her vision is getting blurry, the lights in the room dimming.
"Is this the great love you've told me about? Lying, manipulating my feelings and other people? Using other people just to get a reaction out of me? I don't need or want to remember such love. I don't want a woman like you to love me".
Each word that he spits in her face is akin to venom.
Eda feels like all blood's left her body and rushed to her ears, pounding madly.
"I was told that all of it started when you kissed me during a press conference. So I decided to end it with a kiss. That's all you're ever going to get from me. I want nothing to do with you. I'm marrying Selin in a week. Because you don't seem to get the hint that I'm serious about this wedding. And moreover, I don't want to see your face in my company so I would like to buy your shares".
Eda just stares into his eyes and feels cold. Ceren did it. Whatever she said to him has turned him into this. And that's what makes all of it feel like this... like death. Because one of the people Eda loves the most in this world just took the love of her life from her.
And she finally feels it. The loss. For the first time since Serkan's accident she feels that he's gone. Or maybe she's just died. But no matter which one of them is dead, one thing is clear: they're no longer in the same dimension.
"So?"
Eda blinks at the question. Looks at him and sees him waiting impatiently. Oh, right... A shrewd businessman wants his shares back.
"There's only one way you're gonna get my shares", Eda manages to say with difficulty, her voice strangely rough, as if she's gone years without uttering a single word.
Serkan just lifts an eyebrow at her, silently asking "And?".
"Over my dead body", Eda grits out and turns to leave.
It feels like she's moving excruciatingly slow. Everything looks foggy and she's practically walking blindly. She barely finds the door leading to the stairs. Eda stumbles into the staircase, suddenly sways but manages to grab at the railing. She squeezes her eyes shut. That's when Eda feels something warm trickling down the inside of her thigh. She moves her hand to the place. When she opens her eyes and lifts her hand, all Eda sees is blood.

Okay, it's impossible to predict what the writers have planned and where they're going with this amnesia storyline. So this idea for an angsty one-shot, that just popped in my head, is pure speculation. It's also canon divergence since I am going to ignore Eda's fake engagement to Deniz that's apparently coming, based on the second fragman for episode 30.
Let's imagine it going this way: some time passes and Serkan starts getting to know Eda. There are some situations where they're forced to spend time together so Serkan gradually starts falling for Eda all over again + he keeps seeing the flashes. Then Serkan and Selin's engagement party takes place and Eda shows up in her yellow dress. Serkan is assaulted by the memories from their fake engagement party. But they scare the hell out of him and after the party he tells Selin they should get married as soon as possible. They decide to do it in a week but don't announce until a couple of days before the wedding. Feeling defeated, Eda transfers her shares to Serkan and asks Engin to give Serkan the envelope with the docs, saying it's her wedding present. On the wedding day, Eda packs her bags and goes to the airport to go to Italy. At the same time, during the wedding, Serkan gets all his memories back. He chases Eda who's on her way to the airport (hello, episode 12 parallel).

It Shouldn't Be This Hard
Thank god Engin and Pırıl were at the wedding when it happened. They had made it a point that they didn't support his decision but they couldn't leave him completely alone, given that even his mother had refused to "take part in this farce" and watch him throw away his happiness and future.
So, when Serkan was suddenly assaulted by all of the memories, his mind on overdrive, head ready to explode, vision getting blurry, breaths becoming short, his friends were there to literally catch him, when his knees buckled.
"Abi? Are you okay, Abicim?" Serkan heard his best friend's worried voice that, however, sounded muffled and strangely far away.
Serkan felt two pairs of hands pulling him somewhere and then pushing him to sit down.
"Eda?... Where's Eda?" were the first words Serkan managed to utter.
"Eda? Abi, do you... do you remember?"
Serkan just nodded, the motion making him slightly sick.
"Oh, thank god!" Pırıl and Engin exclaimed at the same time.
"Abi..."
Something in Engin's voice made Serkan lift his head and he blinked, trying to focus on his friend's face. His vision was still blurry, so he was only able to see the outline of Engin's face.
"What is it? Where is she?"
"She's leaving, Abi. She's flying to Italy today".
"What? When?"
"I don't know exactly when her flight is. I think it's possible she hasn't left yet".
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go! But you'll have to drive, I can barely see your face".
The rest happened in a blur: getting to Engin's car, driving to Eda's house, frantically banging on Eda's front door, only to have Melo open it and tell them that Eda had left about fifteen minutes ago. Deniz was driving her to the airport.
Serkan and Engin got in the car, in the hopes they could still catch up with Eda. While Engin's car was whooshing through the traffic on the road, leading to the airport, Serkan couldn't help but remember his mad chase after Eda's taxi all those months ago. He would get to her on time again. He would be able to stop her and convince her to stay.
"Look, Abi! I think that's Deniz's car! Yes, I recognise it! It's definitely his car!"
Serkan urged Engin to drive faster to catch up with the vehicle. Engin started honking to make Deniz notice them. Luckily, he did notice them and soon pulled over at the quay, much like the one where Serkan declared his love for the first time.
Engin barely stopped the car, when Serkan was already pulling the door open and jumping out. He basically ran to Deniz's auto. Once he reached it, Serkan pulled the passenger door open and practically fell to his knees in front of it, relieved.
"Eda!"
She was looking at him with wide eyes, confused.
"Serkan?..." she asked tentatively.
"Yeah... It's me... It's me, baby. I'm back" he whispered and reached out a hand to cup her face.
When Serkan's right palm came into contact with Eda's cheek, all breath left her and she closed her eyes. She didn't stay long like this, however. She pulled away and turned to Deniz. They exchanged a few words in hushed voices and then Eda was moving to climb out of the car. Serkan sprung to his feet and backed away.
Once Eda was out of the car, she looked over him, her eyes guarded.
"Is that really you?" she asked in a whisper.
Serkan started nodding frantically and took a step forward, closing the distance between them. He took her face in both of his hands and leaned his forehead into hers, just like on their wedding day. Only this time it wasn't a goodbye. It was a hello and welcome. It was them finally reunited after all this lost time.
Eda let out a half-laugh that was half-sob and her hands moved to cover his on the sides of her face. But the second she rested her hands on his, her whole body jerked and she practically jumped away from him, as if she had been burned. Serkan looked at her, confused, his hands holding onto the air now, instead of her face. She looked horrified and he followed her gaze to his left hand, only to see a ring. A wedding ring sitting firmly on his ring finger. Serkan felt his own eyes widen.
No-no-no... Not this, please... This couldn't have happened...
"Eda, please, let me..."
He wanted to take a step closer but she backed away from him until her back hit Deniz's car. Eda closed her eyes, drew a couple of calming breaths through her nose and opened her eyes again to meet Serkan's pleading gaze.
"I can't do this anymore, Serkan" she said quietly.
There was no heat, no anger, no hurt, no disappointment in her voice or on her face. Only this tiredness and utter... defeat.
"What do you mean? What can't you do?" Serkan asked dumbly, knowing very well what she'd meant.
"This" she said, motioning between them.
"It shouldn't be this hard. This love... Us... What we get are just moments, snippets of happiness that are followed by weeks and months of heartbreak and this excruciating pain. And it shouldn't be like this".
"It's not gonna be like this. It's never gonna be like this. That's it, that's the last obstacle we had to overcome and we did. Nothing is going to come between us ever again".
"Did we? Overcome this?"
"Of course we did. I remember everything! I am here!"
"You getting your memories back doesn't magically fix everything, Serkan. I need you to come back to me, as you".
"I am back!"
"I need you to come to me as my Serkan, not someone else's husband!"
Her words rang between them and stung him more than any slap across the face ever had.
"This means nothing. She means nothing... Look!"
Serkan pulled at the ring until it was off and then just sent it flying.
"You can throw this ring away all you want but it doesn't change the fact that you're married now. You married her. And as long as you're married to her, there won't be us".
"I will fix it, I swear! Just give me time. Please".
"You have all the time in the world" Eda said and turned to the car.
"Wait! What... what are you doing?"
Eda turned to face him again.
"I'm going to Italy, Serkan. And I'm already running late for my flight".
"What? No! You cannot go. Please, don't go. Not now, not like this!"
"I have already given up on my chance to go to Italy once, for you. I am not doing it again".
Serkan knew he had no right to ask her to stay and sacrifice her dreams for him yet again. So he just asked, resigned:
"How long are you going for?"
"A couple of months".
"Months???"
"Yes, I will prepare my thesis and final project there".
Serkan just nodded.
"So... What will happen to us?"
"I will finish my education and you will take this time to heal and deal with your wife, whichever way you see fit".
Serkan flinched upon hearing Eda refer to Selin as his "wife".
"Come to me, when you're ready, Serkan Bolat. When you're truly you".
With these final words to him, Eda climbed back into the car.
Serkan knew he had no choice but watch his Peri Kızı fly away from him this time.

So, something great came from one of my conversations with @moodypetrichorlove . Here we were, just chatting about all things Sen Çal Kapımı when a fic idea came up and all of a sudden a beautiful partnership was born.
And now I am proud to present the product of our collaboration. Words cannot deliver what a joy it's been working on this together with you, @moodypetrichorlove! To say I am grateful is to say nothing because "grateful" is simply "too small a word"😊💓
A/N: A slight canon divergence where Efe doesn't leave and Eda continues working with him. After having learned the truth about her parents' death she, however, stops coming to the Art Life office and works remotely. A month later, Eda and Serkan see each other at a business lunch. What happens next helps to break the wall that is now standing between them... Or does it?
A Thing So Small
“I don’t blame you. How can I blame you for something that wasn’t your fault? I can’t. And I won’t. But the fact that you hid the truth about the most important thing in my life from me? That I cannot forgive. Not now. I cannot even look at you right now . ”
“Serkan? Serkan! Are you even listening to me?” Engin’s loud voice pulls Serkan from the dark corners of his mind where the echoes of Eda’s last words to him are too real and too sharp.
“Huh?”
“Are you alright, Abicim? You don’t look very good. Maybe we shouldn’t have agreed to this meeting. I have a really bad feeling about this,” Engin keeps rambling into Serkan’s ear.
“Don’t be ridiculous. I am fine, Engin.”
“You sure? Because you haven’t seen each other for a month. Your only line of communication with her has been Efe. You cannot stand the guy! And I know that him being so close to Eda has been driving you crazy.”
Serkan shifts uncomfortably in his seat upon hearing Efe’s name. He can feel that a vein on his right temple is about to start pulsing so he nervously rubs the spot with his fingers.
“I knew it was a bad idea! There! You’re doing the thing!” Engin exclaims.
“What thing?” Serkan asks, confused.
“The rubbing your forehead or temples thing! You always do this when you see Efe near Eda.”
“I... I don’t. I told you I am fine.”
Engin opens his mouth to protest but clearly decides against it and goes for silently studying his best friend instead.
Serkan wonders what Engin sees. Does he see the exhaustion brought on by sleepless nights? Endless nights where he lies awake in his cold lonely empty bed. He’s not restless, there’s no tossing and turning. He just lies on his back and stares into the darkness. But darkness is not what he sees. It’s her. Always her. Her face in that moment when she finally learned the truth. How her eyes filled to the brim with disappointment and hurt. He had, however, seen both in her eyes before. It was the look of utter betrayal that became his undoing. And now it comes to haunt him every night. It stares at him, mocks him through the darkness.
Can Engin see the weight on his shoulders? The weight that never lifted even though the truth is out.
Serkan is actually curious to find out what it is his friend sees on his face and in his eyes, but he never gets to ask the question because Engin’s attention switches somewhere behind Serkan. And Serkan doesn’t need to turn to know what, or rather who, Engin has noticed.
“This was definitely a bad idea,” Engin mutters under his breath yet again and rises from his seat to greet two people approaching their table.
“Hello, Efe! Welcome!”
“Thank you, Engin! Good to see you.”
Efe comes into Serkan’s line of vision and gives him a cold nod, “Serkan.”
“Efe,” Serkan’s responds shortly while he hears Engin say, “Edacım, I am so happy to see you!”
And that’s when he hears her , “It’s good to see you too, Engin.”
Serkan’s eyes close on an exhale as he tries to soak up the sound of her voice. Because it’s like the living water, like balm to the wound, like all the best music pieces wrapped in one.
And then... then he sees her. She walks around Efe to take a seat next to him and opposite Serkan.
God, she is divine.
Her dark silky hair is down, its soft waves framing her face. Her face is almost free of any makeup (it’s not like she needs it anyway) save for some mascara on her naturally long lashes and a nude lip gloss. She’s wearing a black jacket with a plain white shirt underneath.
She’s lost weight, he notices and his brows furrow in concern.
She avoids looking at him and focuses on pulling some folders out of her bag.
Efe’s voice pulls Serkan from his entranced perusal.
“Eda and I finished our part of the project. The rest is on your team. Our drawings and plans are all here.”
Efe takes the folders Eda has taken out of her bag and hands them to Serkan.
“Shall we order something? Discussing business on an empty stomach is never a good idea,” Engin suggests with forced cheerfulness.
While Serkan appreciates his friend’s attempt at relieving some of the tension, it doesn’t really help.
“Why not? Good idea. What do you think, Edacım? Are you hungry?”
Serkan cringes internally at the sweetness in Efe’s voice. And what’s with the “Edacım”? Yet again? What kind of closeness is this?
“Err... No, not really,” Eda mutters. Still, she picks up her menu and scans it distractedly. She has yet to meet Serkan’s eyes. She’s been effectively avoiding looking in his general direction so far.
A waiter comes up to their table and asks if they’re ready to order. Serkan’s watching Eda while Engin and Efe are placing their lunch orders.
“And for you, Miss?” the waiter asks Eda politely.
"I'll... I’ll have a smoothie.”
Serkan snorts at that in amusement because only Eda Yıldız can order a smoothie while at a business lunch.
Eda’s eyes zero in on him. Finally. He’s got her attention. Even if her eyes are throwing daggers she’s looking at him and that’s all that matters. He feels like he can breathe again for the first time in the last month.
“Can I have the one with strawberries?" she asks pointedly, all the while glaring at Serkan. "What’s its name?”
“Tropical Paradise?” the waiter asks.
“Yes, that one.”
The waiter turns to Serkan.
“What can I get for you, Sir?”
“I’ll have the same as the lady, please. Only, do not add strawberries.”
"Yes, of course.”
Just as the waiter leaves, Engin whispers into Serkan’s ear, “A smoothie? Serkan Bolat ordering a smoothie at a business lunch? Really?”
“Yes, Engin, really! And what’s wrong with smoothie? It’s healthy!” he whisper-yells in response.
The next fifteen minutes or so pass in a conversation revolving around their current project, with Efe and Engin doing most of the talking. Eda makes several comments here and there while Serkan... Well, Serkan just revels in her presence. The waiter comes and goes, bringing their orders. Serkan barely registers that his smoothie has been placed in front of him. He picks up the glass without even looking at it, his eyes following Eda’s every move instead. He takes a sip. It tastes a bit strange but he shrugs it off and continues watching Eda who has now raised her glass to her lips. Her brows furrow after she swallows a bit of the smoothie. She runs a tip of her tongue over her upper lip and Serkan’s mouth suddenly goes dry. He grabs at his glass blindly and gulps down the rest of its contents. It doesn’t help, though. Instead his throat feels even tighter. He lets out an uncomfortable cough and Eda’s eyes fly to him. There’s something in her eyes that makes it hard to breathe. Serkan moves to pull at his tie. He sees Eda hauntingly look at the glass in her hand, then at his empty glass and his next breath gets stuck in his swollen throat. It registers that he cannot feel his tongue and his vision blurs. He does notice, however, how Eda’s eyes widen in panic.
“Serkan!”
“Abi?”
“What’s going on? What’s wrong?”
“Engin, call the ambulance, now!”
He feels a soft warm hand on his face when everything goes dark.
________________
He comes to slowly. His eyelids are heavy and, while he’s struggling to lift them, he registers a subtle medical smell, the monotonous beeping of a heart monitor, weight on his right arm, and on his left, a warm touch of someone’s hand.
He manages to crack an eye open and tries to get through the horrid feeling that his mouth is full of cotton wool in order to mumble, “Water.”
There’s immediate movement to his left and he hears his best friend’s voice, “Oh, thank god, Abicim! You’ve given us quite a scare!”
The weight on his right arm is gone and his mother’s excited exclamation fills the air, “Canım benim, you’re awake!”
Serkan opens both of his eyes fully and sees two happy but still concerned faces hovering over him.
“Water?” he croaks out again.
“Oh, of course, canım!” his mother exclaims and disappears from his line of vision.
In the next moment, there is a straw at his lips and he takes a sip through it.
“Eda?”
“She stayed here the whole night, refused to leave your side. Only in the morning did we manage to convince her to go home, take a shower and change. She left about fifteen minutes ago, promised to be back soon,” Aydan says with fondness and squeezes his hand.
“She saved your life there, Abi. Pulled out an EpiPen from her purse and injected you before the ambulance even arrived. It could’ve already been too late by the time they came.” As Engin is telling him all this Serkan can hear a tremor and lingering worry in his friend’s voice.
“I’m... fine,” he tries to reassure both Engin and his mom.
“Yes, you are, canım. Thanks to Eda. God, I don’t know what we would do without her. She’s our guardian angel,” Aydan says with so much love that Serkan’s heart swells.
He feels warmth spread through his whole body at the knowledge that Eda still secretly carries an EpiPen with her even though they’re broken up; even though it felt awfully final when she had walked away from him after having learned the truth about her parents’ death.
Can it be that she still loves him, misses him, thinks and worries about him? Wonders about the way he loves her oh so deeply and misses her so desperately? The way he thinks about her constantly?
“When... when can I go home?” he barely manages to finish the question and starts coughing.
His mother quickly offers him some more water, “Here, drink this, my dear.”
“I’m going to go get the doctor and he’ll tell us if you’re ready to be discharged,” says Engin and leaves the hospital room.
The doctor comes and informs them all that Serkan is okay, but that it’d be better to stay under medical supervision till the next morning. Not a big fan of hospitals, Serkan, however, insists on getting the hell out of there. He’s ready to sign all the necessary papers and leave within the scope of his personal responsibility. The doctor agrees to release him on the condition that he will stay at home and in bed, with someone to look after him. Once that’s settled, Engin and Aydan Hanım leave Serkan to change into his clothes.
_________________
The three of them get into Aydan’s retro car. Engin is behind the wheel, Serkan takes the passenger seat and his mother gets comfortable in the back. When they’re on the road Serkan pulls out his phone, opens his call log and his thumb hovers over Eda’s name. Engin glances at him and asks, “Want to call Eda and tell her not to come back to the hospital?”
“Oh, dear, no need to call Eda,” his mother chimes in from the back.
“What? Why?” Serkan questions with a hint of fear.
“Because I have already called her and told her we’re bringing you home. She’ll meet us there.”
“She... she’s coming?”
“Of course she’s coming!”
The warm feeling is back and a subtle smile pulls at his lips. He’s impatient to get home because the sooner they get there, the sooner he sees Eda. Serkan’s patience is tested when they get stuck in a traffic jam. It takes forever to get to Serkan’s house and he fears that Eda has already arrived and is forced to wait at the door. Or worse – she just left when she saw that no one was at home. So he gets anxious when they finally make it to his apartment and there’s no Eda waiting at the door.
“I should... we should call Eda. Somebody call Eda. Mom, call her, tell her we’re here, ask her where she is.” Serkan knows that he’s practically spiralling but he just cannot help himself.
“Tabii, canım. Calm down. I will call Eda. But first let’s get you comfortable. Remember what the doctor said? You need rest.”
His mother ignores his grumbling and makes him settle on one of the couches in the spacious living room. Aydan Hanım and Engin start fussing over him and Serkan is just about to lose it when they hear a knock. He’s ready to jump and rush to the door but his mother beats him to it. She greets Eda with excited squeals and hugs. Once Aydan Hanım lets go of Eda she comes more fully into his line of vision. The second he sees her, Serkan feels his whole body relax. He starts breathing more easily now that she’s right there, coming closer and closer, looking at him with soft and worried eyes.
"Eda," he all but whispers because he's afraid that if he raises his voice she might actually disappear, like an illusion.
"Serkan. How are you feeling?"
"I am fine. Thanks to you."
She shrugs it off as if it’s not a big deal.
“I am glad you’re okay. I was... I was worried,” she confesses softly and her eyes get clouded with the said worry.
“I am alright. I promise. And the doctor said there’s nothing to worry about,” he reassures her.
She nods and then lifts a box that Serkan just now notices in her hands.
“I’ve got you something. Should help your body regain its strength. Also calms the mind.”
“Another one of your magic teas?” he teases with a small smile.
He’s relieved to see her smile in return and nod. She moves to the kitchen area and busies herself with preparing the herbs for his tea and he... he’s just watching her. He’s so entranced and enchanted by her that it takes him quite some time to realise that they’re alone. He looks around and asks in confusion, “Where... where are my mother and Engin?”
“They left about ten minutes ago. I started making your tea and they said their goodbyes. Did you not hear them leave?”
“I... I guess I got a bit distracted,” he mumbles, ears lightly tinted red with embarrassment.
Eda looks at him as if she wants to say something, but clearly decides against it as she shakes her head. She takes a steaming mug into her hands and silently moves towards him, joining him on the couch. She arranges the cushions around Serkan and once he’s settled, she offers him the mug. For the next few minutes they just sit in a surprisingly comfortable silence, with Serkan sipping his tea and Eda watching him from the corner of her eye.
It’s Serkan who breaks the silence, then, “Can I ask you something?”
Eda looks at him for a moment, nods, and says, “Ask.”
“If you had known that I’d be okay in the end, that I wouldn’t die tonight, would you still be here?” asks Serkan, his voice tinted with all the vulnerability in the world.
“I knew you’d be alright.” Eda’s reply comes swift and determined.
“Öyle mi? Nasıl bu kadar emin olabildin?”
She looks around the room, unsure whether she should carry on the conversation, and slightly afraid. However, because she’s Eda, she then breathes in deeply, stares right in to his eyes and says, “Because how can you die when there is still so much left for us to talk about? So many places to explore together? So many beautiful homes and gardens to make together? How can you die before we even get to the part where we make an entire life for you and me, together? Before we’ve loved each other to death?  Mümkün değil. You cannot die before we’ve lived forever together. Ben sana deli gibi aşık oldum, Serkan Bolat. You can’t leave until I say so.”
Her long lashes are wet from tears that are steadily dripping down her face, while Serkan is stunned into a silence he doesn’t feel like he can break. Or that he wants to break, really, because it’s not the sort of heavy silence that feels like it’s crushing him. It’s the kind that surrounds him in all its soothing calmness and warmth; the kind of silence that promises peace and happiness. The kind that is so full of love it makes him feel he’s about to burst at the seams, but his shoulders have never felt lighter. And it’s the best thing he has ever felt in his life.
So, he just nods silently, unaware that he too has tears sliding down his face, and opens up his arms for Eda. Always for her. She embraces him, fits in his arms like the missing piece of a puzzle and he feels complete, like never before. And then in a gentle, soft whisper – soft because he doesn’t want to break the tranquil silence and oh-so soft because it’s meant for Eda only – he says, “Seni her zaman çok seveceğim, Eda Yıldız.”
Later, once he’s back to his sharp self, Serkan is going to wonder how he got here. How he got so fortunate to be back to a good place with Eda, exactly where he wanted to be. How something that could very well kill him, ended up saving his life by bringing his peri kizi back to him. And he’s going to think how a thing so small as a strawberry held so much power. Who would’ve thought Serkan Bolat would ever be thankful for strawberries?
Translations!
Öyle mi? Nasıl bu kadar emin olabildin? / Is that so? How could you be so sure?

A post episode 31 one-shot at a lovely anonym's request. I initially planned something more angsty but after having seen fragman 2 I'm feeling really hopeful. It will definitely not go like this but one can dream and fantasize 😁.
I don't own Sen Çal Kapımı or any of its characters. They belong to the writers, production company and FOX channel.
___________________________________________
Beyond Any Words
Ever since that cursed day when Eda and Deniz set the date for their wedding, Serkan hasn't been able to quell the burning in his chest. It feels like it's ready to explode. When it first started, Serkan thought he was having a heart attack, or suffering from a freaking pneumothorax, or that both his lungs had suddenly collapsed, or that he was just simply dying... He called his family doctor who came to examine him, only to say that he wasn't dying and he'd simply had a panick attack. And now Serkan has to live in the state of constant panic attack.
What's even worse is that his hand tremor is back and he hasn't been able to finish any of his sketches. He thought it was due to all of the distractions during the day. He stayed in the office after everyone had left.
He's alone in the office now and has been trying to work for hours but all his attempts have fallen through. There are dozens of papers with messed up sketches that he's thrown around the room. His tremor seems to have gotten worse and now there are also painful spasms shooting up Serkan's arm, right into his shoulder.
Serkan cracks his neck and rolls his shoulders, ready to give his sketch one more - last - try, when he hears clicking of heels and a voice. Her voice.
"I know, I know... I will be there soon. I just need to grab my notepad. All of my notes are in there, I will need to look at them before the meeting tomorrow morning".
Eda walks through one of the panel doors and freezes when she sees Serkan. He's already looking at her intently.
"Serkan? What are you still doing here at this hour?" she asks cautiously.
"I'm sorry, since when do I need your permission to stay and work in my office?" Serkan snaps at her suddenly.
He sounds almost whiny and childish, even to his own ears. He knows he's being a jerk and bites his treacherous tongue when he sees Eda flinch.
Before she can say anything, Serkan adds hustily:
"I am... I'm sorry, okay? I don't know what's come over me. It's just been an awful day. It's not an excuse, I know. And I apologize. But I've been working on this damn sketch and I cannot finish it for the life of me".
Just as Serkan's saying all of this, he sees Eda take in the state of the office, with all the crumpled and torn papers, pencils broken in frustration.
"Oh..." she utters softly.
She doesn't ask any questions but Serkan feels compelled to tell her:
"I've been mostly fine physically after the accident. But from time to time I'll get these cramps and tremors in my right hand and arm... So, sketching has been a bit of a problem".
Serkan doesn't understand why he's sharing this with her. He hasn't told anyone else about it. But with her here, in front of him, the words just tumble out of his mouth and he feels such relief...
Serkan sees Eda's forehead crease with worry. She gestures with her hand at the sketch before him and asks:
"Can I... Do you want to me to help you with that?"
Serkan's nodding before his mind is even done processing the question.
Eda comes to the table and pulls one of the chairs. She puts her purse on the table, sits down and rolls her chair closer to Serkan. Serkan's eyes widen when Eda's small and soft hand closes around his own, holding a pencil. She doesn't have to say anything, he just instinctively relaxes and lets her hand guide his movements. He's not even looking at what their hands are drawing, staring at her face instead. Serkan's eyes drink her in greedily. He doesn't know how much time passes when he's pulled out of his trance by Eda's voice:
"Here. What do you think?"
Serkan tears his eyes from her face and looks at the sketch. He blinks several times.
"That's... that's... wow... How... How did you know what I wanted to draw?"
Eda just shrugs as if it's not a big deal.
"I don't know. I just looked at you and knew that's what you had in mind. We... Well, it always used to be like this with us. We didn't even need to talk, one look was enough for us to understand each other".
She suddenly snatches her hand away and rolls in her chair, effectively putting some distance between them. Serkan immediately feels cold and opens his mouth to say something, anything, but Eda's already out of her seat. She takes her purse and says:
"I have to go".
She moves to the other end of the table, grabs the notepad she's come for.
"Good night, Serkan Bolat".
She's gone before he has a chance to respond.
