Fic: New Beginnings, Part 2 (Kaya/Suna - Yali Capkini)
Pairing: Kaya/Suna
Rating: R
A/N: These two got me into the show, and I was so disappointed to see their scenes were cut in the new episode. Grrr…. so I decided to write their wedding night scene for myself and fill in some of the gaps.
Summary: As Suna struggles with her past on their wedding night, Kaya is there to offer her comfort.
Note: Posted this on AO3 already but didn't do it here. In case anyone's interested.

Part 2
Suna closed her eyes for a moment, taking a sharp breath.
“Want me to stop?”
She shook her head ‘no’. It wasn’t painful, not like her first time was – no, she refused to think of that monster now – but having Kaya penetrate her was uncomfortable. But within seconds the discomfort subsided.
“This feel okay?” Kaya murmured, his breath humming her skin.
He dropped kisses on her eyelids, the tip of her nose, his mouth trailing down to the oh-so sensitive spot on the corner of her neck – oh, she liked that, a lot – whilst moving inside her in a slow, rhythmic motion. Instinctively, Suna wrapped her legs around his thighs.
“You feel so good, love. I’m going crazy here,” he whispered in her ear.
Oh god, oh god, oh god. Soft moans escaped her. Suna couldn’t speak, couldn’t think, all she could feel was Kaya inside her. Pleasure coursed through her blood, flowing from head to toe, desire electrifying her.
That same pressure from earlier built again, hurling her towards the inevitable. With each thrust, her cries grew louder, she wanted to scream with joy. But what if everyone heard?
As if sensing her thoughts, Kaya covered her mouth with his hand.
Her eyes met his. And the same emotions she was experiencing were reflected back in his gaze, connecting them together. No one had ever known her so intimately before, it was dizzying to think that only he would.
He kissed her so sweetly, in direct contrast to the wicked things he was doing with his body. The rhythm of his pumps grew more frantic, speeding up the chaos inside her, taking her higher and higher until she was close, so, so close – and, just like the first time, everything hurled toward an urgent climax and ecstasy washed over her.
Except this time she wasn’t the only one who gave into that exhilaration. Kaya’s hands, intertwined with hers, squeezed hers so tight, his muffled groans buried in her neck as he came shortly after.
For a long time he lay on top of her, their bodies all tangled up together, breathing in unison. In a strange way everything about Kaya felt like home, even though the concept of home being warm and comforting was so new to her. The sensation of his hand on her naked body, his breath on her skin, the way his body fit so perfectly with her own – small moments of pleasure she’d never experienced before. After tonight, she didn’t think she could live without any of them.
He shifted, sliding out of bed. Disappointment swept through her. “Are you leaving?”
Naked, and not even remotely shy, he looked over his shoulder at her. A seductive smirk played along his lips. “I’ll be right back.” He went into the ensuite bathroom. A few seconds later, he returned with a wet towel.
Like so many times tonight, he surprised her by gently cleaning the wet cum between her legs. His touch was tender but assured, and she was overcome with shyness at how intimate the gesture was. “You don’t have to do that-” she protested.
Kaya didn’t stop. “I don’t mind. I don’t want you to be uncomfortable.”
Relaxed, she watched him. Occasionally he would glance at her, giving her a playful smirk, and butterflies fluttered in her stomach every time he did.
Soon he returned to her side, and this time he pulled her close to his chest. Cuddled together, they rested in each other’s arms in silence. She thought it would be awkward for them, in so many ways they barely knew each other, yet there was this kinship that existed between them that was unexplainable. It was tenuous, barely held together by a thread after she overheard him saying she was pitiful – but then he came to her, earnest and beautiful, pleading with tearful eyes as he promised her vengeance against all those who did them wrong. And it was that promise that made her say yes to his offer, that deep understanding of what she needed even before she’d verbalized it to herself. Yes, she wanted revenge. But more than that, she never wanted to be a victim again, of her father or anyone else. And it was Kaya who recognized that.
Head nestled on his chest, she could hear his heart beating. It was calm and steady. Peaceful. Unlike the seductive strum of his fingers on the small of her back, caressing her skin.
“Suna?”
She looked up at him, her head nestled on his chest. “Yes.”
“My mother won’t make it easy for us. You know that, right?”
Suna nodded. “I know.”
“She’ll work overtime to ruin things between us.”
“I won’t let her.” Suna realized she meant it completely. Never would she be a victim of any one else’s manipulations again.
“We won’t,” Kaya emphasized. “I meant what I said when I proposed. We’ll take down all those who hurt us.”
Yes, they would. She believed that completely. Feeling warm and sentimental all over, she moved to rest beside him and started running her fingers through his soft, wavy hair. He closed his eyes, inhaling her in.
“Will you promise me something, Suna?” His gaze was piercing,  an abyss of emotions, drowning her in them.
She nodded her head.
“Don’t be alone with your father.”
A painful sigh escaped her. “You’ve seen how he behaves. Being around people wouldn’t stop him from beating me.”
Kaya’s jaw clenched with agitation. He gripped her face, pressing his temple to her. “He won’t touch you again. I won’t let him! But if I’m not there and he tries, you have to fight back. Punch him, kick him, knee him in the groin – I don’t care. But you hit him and you run away. You run to me! And we’ll take care of him together.”
She stared at him, wondering why it never occurred her to fight back against her father. All the beatings and the violence and the pain he caused her and her mom and sister – yet they never fought back. It was sickening, all that societal conditioning they had internalized so they were always the victims.
“Promise me, Suna.”
“I’ll fight back.”
“He’s not a good man. He’s weak and pathetic, and the only way he can exert power is by bullying others. But you stood up to him today, Suna.”
“Because you were beside me.”
“But you did it. You! And if he’s like all the other weak men I know, he’ll do anything to take that power back from you. Maybe he’ll ask for forgiveness and plead with you he’s changed, or he’ll try to get you alone and scare you back under his control. Whatever it is, don’t fall for it. Because men like him never change.”
Suna saw the desperation in Kaya’s face and realized how much he cared. This was important to him, she was important, and she needed to value herself as much as he did. She placed her hand over his on the pillow, squeezing his grip for comfort. “I’ll never let him touch me again.”
Finally he looked a bit relieved, like he could breathe again. A small smile broke out over his lips. “You’re not wearing your wedding ring.”
“I removed it before taking a shower. It’s in the bathroom.”
“You don’t like it?”
She smiled. “It’s beautiful, but I told you I like the leaf one better. Too bad the leaves will shrivel up and die.”
Kaya pressed a soft kiss on their adjoined hands. “Then you’ll get a new one. Every week. I'll make it for you.”
The thought made her smile. “Really?”
He grinned. “Yeah. My wife will get everything her beautiful heart desires.”
Mischief lit her eyes, a wicked smile curving her mouth. She sidled up to him, her face tantalizingly close to his. “Maybe what she wants right now is you.”
He pulled at her bottom lip, tugging it between his teeth, teasing her playfully.
Soon, she was screaming with pleasure again.

Turkish dramas 🦋
Tumblr media
Okay, alright, as someone who truly believes that the world is filled with so many entertaining stories and shows that all need to be explored regardless of whether they're in different languages or not ( and I think that if you don't watch something because you're reading subtitles, you're missing out) I mean there are so many pros to exploring other cultures and languages.
Now that I am done with my little rant todays focus will be in Turkish dramas I recommend.
The difference in Turkish dramas compared to the rest of the other dramas I’ve watched like ( k dramas/ Korean dramas, Brazilian-dramas, telenovelas and more …) is probably just how entertaining they are without further ado my top recommended Turkish dramas
1. Hercai
The drama was recommended right smack in the middle of lockdown, so let's just say it saved me from boredom! In my opinion, this is the best Turkish drama I've ever watched. The storyline was amazing and filled with plot twists and crazy storylines. You'll never get bored watching it for a moment. You end up falling for the characters and getting caught up in Hercai's world. 10/10
Tumblr media
summary
Miran is seeking revenge for his parents death so he plans to marry daughter Reyyan from the family who was responsible for that. unexpectedly he falls in love with Reyyan.
2. Adim Farah
Tumblr media
alright running second is Adim Farah is the most recent drama, I've watched and oh my soul it's amazing its got action, comedy and a beautiful love story and if you're a big fan of a bit of mystery as well. 10/10 ( second season coming soon)
summary: farah is a 28 year old Iranian woman who works illegally as a cleaner in istanbul and witnesses a crime commited by the mafia her life takes a huge turn
3. ask 101(love 101)
Tumblr media
Someone said summer, yeah, this is the one. This show is two seasons and is a gripping story of friendship, love, and coming of age. 8/10
summary: love 101 ( ask 101) is a Turkish teen drama, that follows a group of 17-year-old misfits who set their mind on keeping their favourite teacher in town through a whole lot of scheming.
4. midnight at pera palace
Tumblr media
It's so good, I binge-watched the whole series in one go. It's giving mystery, it's giving suspense, and it's giving what it needs to 9/10
summary: a young journalist, Esra’s encounter with the legendary Pera Palace Hotel in Istanbul. When Esra is assigned to write a piece about the hotel, she accidentally discovers that one of the historic rooms is a portal to the year 1919. Thrust into the past, she lands in the middle of a political conspiracy against the founder of modern Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Together with Ahmet, the quirky hotel manager, Esra must protect the course of history and the future of Turkey. But Istanbul in 1919 is a dangerous place, and when Esra meets Halit, the handsome and mysterious owner of Istanbul’s wildest club, she realizes that in the Istanbul of 1919, nothing is as it seems and no one is who they say.
5. Who were we running from ( Biz kimden kaçiyorduk Anne)
Tumblr media
Another thriller packed drama, with a while lot of mystery overall you will not regret watching although trigger warning things can get intense. 7/10
Summary: mother and her young daughter Bambi are on the run, away from someone, staying in luxury hotels, keeping on the move, leaving a trail of bodies behind…
Alrighty folks that’s just the few of my fav recommendations !! I hope you enjoy 🙂
There’s many more recommendations 🤭to come
