SEMI-HIATUS NOTICE

k so these last couple days have been busy to say the least, yesterday my paternal grandmother passed (still weird to think that i dont have any grandmothers anymore) making 3 family deaths total this year alone. today my grandfather is having surgery to replace his pacemaker (so far this have gone well, hes out of surgery and such and gets to head home in a bit) and i will be staying with him for two weeks to make sure he gets on alright and to drive him places if need be since he will be unable to for said two weeks. depending on how emotional/mentally drained i am will decide how much gets done here (not that im high activity anyways lol) but yeah. im not dead, just busy and Tired lol

I'm going to Florida 9-17 of April. I will put my blogs on a semi hiatus through the dates I'm going to be away. I'm not bringing my laptop. I will have my phone. I only have three more weeks until I fly out.

PSA RE: book release deadline semi-hiatus

//hey, Blood Ties is coming out very soon! (May 23rd!!!) and I have many things left to do before it's ready for release. I've got six weeks to my deadline (today's April 4th), so I'm gonna be really busy with that so my activity will be very much diminished.

i'll try to pop in once a day to check messages, gather threads, lurk etc. but I won't be doing a whole lot of writing. In short, I'll do thread replies and asks and such when I'm feeling up to it. I may also choose to focus on doing only asks or threads, to try to find a balance. I'm really not gonna stress about it.

SEMI-HIATUS NOTICE.

as you guys might probably notice, my activity had dropped drastically for the past month or so. i've been assigned a big chunk of responsibility at work due to a coworker quitting. that had caused me to become extremely stressed as of late. i've been exhausted and overwhelmed. my writing muse is almost non-existent because of this. with that said, i think it's warranted that i put this blog on an official semi-hiatus. i'm still not sure for how long ( it's mostly until my company can find a replacement to handle the work i had been handed last minute. ) for now, it'd be indefinite until further notice.

i'll still pop in and try to write from time to time ( as writing is one of my main sources of destressing ) but other than a few things here & there, i can't promise much ic content on my end. thank you for your patience & understanding.

hi, this is a small little semi-hiatus notice -- my exams last until february 16th, and i can't reliably say how much i will be here before then. whenever i have time to write, writing will go in the queue which is now adjusted to posting one time per day.

Just a heads up that I may be pretty quiet here until about April 19th. My best friend had to go to the ER this weekend, so I'll likely be spending the majority of the free time I have with them for a while. Once they're feeling a bit better and work calms down (it's the busiest time of the year), I'll get back to doing replies and posting those starters I owe!

i'm gonna be entering a period of low-activity more than normal. i love you all, but it's a bad time of year for me with a lot of trauma anniversaries.

while i wasn't here in 2020, a lot of really, really shitty shit happened.

i'll be trying my hardest to get to replies from here, till march 7th.

in about a week, it'll be 4th anniversary of my friend's murder, and them finally finding her body after she was missing since october. and it sucks. it sucks that i cant open my snapchat, and see her with her friends, and text her to have fun. that we're not in school doing bloody zombie makeup together.

the same day, my friend went into a coma, and a month later, when i was trying to have a good day on my one friend's one month anniversary of her being found, i went to visit him in the hospital, and he died the second i walked in the door.

later someone that was basically my mom growing up died the same day as him, and they didn't find her till three days later in her house. she brushed my hair, baby sat me, fed me, i came out to her, she understood a lot and never judged me.

this time of the year never gets easier since all of their stuff kind of happened at the same time-ish, it all just blends together. and not to help, but it's usually around the time of year that i end up inpatient, and im off my insurance, and have none of the meds i need to keep me stable.

im struggling pretty hard right now. but i'm trying. im trying to keep my head above water.

Life is hitting me with a lot of stuff right now. RP doesn't fit in at the moment, but I miss it, and y'all, every day. I hope in a month, maybe two? (gods I hope not that long) that things will be more stable.

Current Schedule for today, just so people know where I’m at as far as focus goes. Not as heavy or busy thankfully but still a lil… yeah.

Another important thing is I will still be quiet if only cause I’m dealing with a lot irl and in personal life— plus that on note, holidays are always kinda wonky pfff. This, I feel, is important to mention, or more or less warn in advance, but I do have trauma from an heavy incident that happened on new years so the closer it gets I will likely get quieter and my activity will grow more sporadic until it passes. Please keep in mind if I do so it’s not me ignoring mutuals on purpose or maliciously. Communicating and existing gets hard for me that time of year and on top of all my work for commission deadline crunches, I am gonna be busy. But I am still here, will try my best to catch up on things and respond when I can. Thank you guys for your patience.
