Grubbs/ Slamanders

The Grubbs, (also known as Slamanders by old forum sites) are a race of bipedal amphibians native to the rivers of Western Mudos. Grubbs possess brown and green skin, long salamander like faces, and small fins located along their back. The Grubbs lived within sprawling villages and ancient cities along the Mongo River.

Over the course of many years the Grubbs had developed a rich fishing culture along the Mongo River. Erecting massive cities and villages and culturally cementing there symbiotic alliances with creatures such as the aquatic scuba toads and powerful Steef along the Mongo River. Despite this the Grubbs would soon encounter hardship as there Steef protectors were quickly hunted to extinction by unforeseen industrial forces. Said industrial forces would go on to construct Sekto Springs, immediately cutting off the Grubbs most precious resource.

Soon, some Grubb tribes began to take notice to their swift oppression and thus formed a series of violent revolutions across Western Mudos hoping to preserve what was left of their fallen society and corrupted land. Eventually with the help of an unnamed Steef hero, the Grubbs managed to reclaim the city of Last Legs and destroy the dam once and for all, returning the valley back to its former glory.

Sekto or Oktigi anatomy

I made a little diagram for the maw of an Oktigi, taking into account that they’re mind-controlling hematophagous ectoparasites. I have a couple of headcanons but in this version I settled on their diet being strictly hematophagy and prioritized a spacious and deep maw so that they can comfortably engulf a host’s head, like Sekto.

Feeding: At the very axis there are four cuspids that pierce the skin so that blood flows out and the oral sucker can suction from the wound to feed, similar to leeches. Their saliva contains anticoagulants and analgesics.

Mind control: I settled on a retractable needle made of sturdy chitin-like material which has muscles behind it that let it do a spring-load action strong enough to penetrate through a skull towards the brain, in the hollow inside there would be a minor needle that is then pushed out when the tissue attached to it is irrigated. Inside this also hollow minor needle there would be a nerve cord that acts as an extension of neurons coming from the brain that can in a very sci-fi way make a synaptic connection between the Oktigi and their host.

Yo who is Sektos uhh business associate

Oh he's just an OC, I like how Oktigi look and I wish we got to see more of them so I made a few for fun, and of course to pair up with Sekto. They don't have names or anything, they're just other rich Oktigi around his same social and economic circle, guys in high positions he meets through associates, parties and gatherings. Lorne doesn't give me more Oktigi to ship Sekto with so I had to make my own and come up with stuff myself >:[

This guy is a succesful C level executive who's also an avid and luckily smart investor. Unfortunately he invested in Sekto Springs Bottled Water Company which didn't turn out so well in the end.

And this guy is the owner of not only his own but also a couple of other big livestock companies and cattle farms. He also likes poaching.
