I love Waddle Dees! I just wish they were a bit crunchier.

Name: Sectra Dee

Debut: Kirby: Triple Deluxe

Sectra Dee is exactly like a Waddle Dee... but it’s a bug! Isn’t that grand? Yes! It is! And you agree. For a little while, I was disappointed these were not called Waddle Bees, but I’m over it now! Sectra Dee is, thematically, a good name, especially since it facilitates the naming of variants, as well! And there are so many variants!

The most straightforward is Parasol Sectra Dee! Parasol Sectra Dee is exactly like a Parasol Waddle Dee... but it’s a bug! Isn’t that grand? Yes! It is! And you agree. Parasol is one of my favorite abilities for how whimsical it is, and it’s even more fun to see a bug using it! This insect can’t fly, but at least it can glide jovially.

But these variants are not all merely Sectra Dees with different props! They are so much more. Kirby is not in Dream Land anymore, no no. He is in Bug World! “Buzz buzz!” -the bugs

Sectra Burt is the one Sectra variant blessed with the miracle of flight! Bronto Burt is already vaaaguely bug-like with its particular style of wings, but this one goes above the ambiguity and is oh so bug. It even has a pointy stylet on its face! I know it will slurp some liquids! I hope not yours or mine!

Then there is Sectra Knight, a bug redesign of Lanzer, a spear knight enemy! This one is especially funny to me. It looks like it’s wearing a mask with a bug face on it! Is it a fraud? Is that a non-bug under there? Or is that its real face, and its cuticle is just shaped in such a way it looks like a mask? I will assume that it IS a mask, and it has the exact bug face underneath. I’m a silly one!

Sectra Shooter is a bug who will shoot you! Imagine being stung by a bug, only to notice the bug is feet away from you, and just shooting you with arrows out of spite. I’m glad that doesn’t happen in real life, both because it would hurt, and because people would use it to hate bugs even more. But Sectra Shooter is a cool creature! Very cool compound eye shades, and I like how the top of its head kind of evokes a hat, with its antennae like feathers!

Finally there is Sectra Gordo, who we have talked about before! The most different in style of all of these, and also one of the funniest. Just a levitating and indestructible beetle. Magical beetle!

But this post is about Sectra Dee, and I got sidetracked! They have only appeared in Triple Deluxe and Blowout Blast, only having story significance in Triple Deluxe. But it’s kind of vague! All we really know is they inhabit Royal Road, the realm of Queen Sectonia, and probably serve her. But that’s all we get! I like to think they really are just like Waddle Dees, little guys just living their lives, not truly meaning any harm but maybe sometimes getting roped into bad crowds.

At least, we get some Sectra Dee Content in one of the manga, where they are serving Taranza just like Waddle Dees serve Dedede! Cinematic parallels. Are those eyelashes on the one in the back? Awesome! a Girl Bug.

meet atlas, a friendly and excitable puffball from the planet sectra star! atlas is a puffball with incredible strength, who wields an axe about five times his size. he loves a good adventure and friendly competition, earning himself a bit of a cocky streak. it's all in good fun to him, though! of course, if his loved ones get hurt, that's a different story entirely.

after landing on the planet's surface as a baby, he was taken in by the bug-like inhabitants and raised as one of their own. during his young teenage years, atlas was chosen as the wielder for the sacred sword galaxia, and spent most of his years afterwards saving others and going on heroic missions with her.

but after years and years of fighting, years and years of losing loved ones, atlas came to realize he wasn't built for it. galaxia, who had never cared about her prior wielders, had watched atlas grow up and developed a fondness for them. she told them to leave her elsewhere for a new wielder to find, because she didn't want them to end up like her older wielders. after doing so, atlas returned home and took up the position of forge master alongside a close friend of his, and began creating weapons for the queen of sectra star's army and himself.

nowadays, atlas resides on popstar with kirby and his friends, staying with his boyfriend meta knight and his crew in the battleship halberd.

I like to give Galacta Knight the lines around the cheeks like classic Kirby's dimples, though since I picture Galacta as fairly old, they kinda end up being like wrinkles on him for me

I have really old Kirby character headcanons I wanna post to keep here a bit before I go n rewrite or revise them to make newer hc sheets

this is one I made for both Taranza and Susie as I decided to do a shared sheet for em

Taranza -Full name is Taranza Willows +Hair is not a wig. It is in fact very real. No touching. -Sectra kind, a Floralian Parasi male -One of the taller members of the group, kind of scrawny looking in comparison. -Not very physically strong, focuses on magic. No spidey strength. -Somewhat blind, needs glasses to see with main pair of eyes. -Yes he has 6 arms. -Knows how to cook, clean and serve all at the same time. -Master multitasker. -His fangs can secrete venom but only enough to dull someone's senses or temporarily numb them. They don't hurt much. -Has chest fluff typical of his kind. Same color as his hair. -Thumbs act as stingers. If it ever comes down to close combat he can use them to stun opponents. -Polishes and cleans his horns daily. Sometimes shudders in pain at seeing Magolor's own cracked or broken ones. -Born to a bloodline of servants made to assist the rulers of Floralia. -No longer lives in the castle since the Petal sisters have taken it. Lives in a quaint spot in Fine Fields. -Specializes in gardening as do most inhabitants of the sky islands. One of the best florists. -Tends to the Dreamstalk. Basically safeguards it -Very well groomed. Always makes sure to look good in any kind of appearance he has. -Can communicate with normal tarantulas and manipulate them. -Blood is light blue. -Certain parts of skin are covered in fuzz or fluff. Wrists and shoulders tend to be covered in it along with neck. -Can play a variety of instruments, especially all at once. Literal definition of a one man band. -Has a sweet tooth. Favorite kind of dessert is donuts (much like in the manga) -Can move his eyes in different directions simultaneously -Probably occasionally drinks. Just on occasion. -At first a kind young soul, after Sectonia's corruption he grew bitter and cruel towards others much like she did, losing hope that the Sectonia he knew was gone. Over time he starts accepting her death and believes she is now at peace after a message she had given him as she died during the fight against Kirby. Starting to become compassionate once more and helped the Petal Sisters to rebuild Floralia before signing off to live somewhere quiet. -In the process of moving on. -Knows how to style and fix other people's hair or makeup. Pretty keen on fashion. -Decent singing voice, sometimes tends to do it when alone or playing an instrument. -Talks to plants daily as he tends to them. Will sing to them. -Overuse of magic leads to getting knocked out. -Gets along well with Kirby and the others. Feels slightly unnerved by Dark Meta Knight. -Likely gets called Spiderman by Magolor. He doesn't really know what that means. -Seems to gain respect for Dedede over time. -Interested in Marx's rosevine abilities. They sometimes talk about music, literature or gardening. Very cultured.

Susie -Current CEO of the Haltmann Works Company. -Stays in Popstar after Planet Robobot's events. Seems to research and occasionally test on those there. Over time learns how to live there. -Finds most inhabitants interesting. Wears glasses, they're necessary due to damage from the first Star Dream incident. -Didn't intend for Haltmann to die. Feels guilt over the event and is currently trying to get over it by fixing the remains of the company. -Her mother died during her birth. -Ice cream is a comfort food and she tends to eat it when she gets stressed. -Makes sure to exercise though. -Will wear her golden hair clip with any clothes she has. Is never seen without it. -Can and will binge watch drama shows whenever she has a break or time off. -Possibly one of the hardest working ones in the group, analyzes what teams should be formed and which moveset matches with another person's. -Teams up with Magolor a lot, finds him pretty interesting due to his knowledge on ancient technology. -She assists him in making a Virtual Reality attraction in his theme park. They're good mechanic partners. -Starts trying to learn more about different cultures rather than simply assimilating them and mechanizing places. -With Kirby and Meta's help, she still continues the idea of a mechanization force but built to stabilize dying or destroyed planets instead. -Still a bit obsessed with both of their power and capabilities as members of an ancient race. -Currently researching links between science and magic. -Can scan for information and lock onto targets with her visor. -Very resourceful. Can make anything if she puts her mind to it. -Unfortunately has trouble connecting her mind to technology as her eyesight and something in her inner wiring was damaged during the Star Dream incident. Hence the glasses and being unable to control Star Dream via the helmet. -Needs specially tailored glasses and visor in order to properly use the technology or see. -She is a luxury few can afford. -Even though the hatchet is buried between her and Meta, she is thrilled to find out about his dark doppelganger. Tries pestering Dark into letting her test on him but he always declines. -Not too fond of certain animals but seems to like birds and doomers. Asks Magolor to help communicate with them. -As hard working and busy as she is, she'd never say no to a gift. What's the point of working if no one's gonna spoil you a bit? -Accepts anything from sweets to flowers. Sometimes has trouble doing the same in return and tends to just gift money. -Extremely stubborn. She's not afraid to fight those in her way. -Can and will incorporate cute designs onto any mechanical armor she has. -Runs on few hours of sleep all of the time -Karaoke queen. -Always wears business casual or business formal clothes. As stylish as possible.

dyna blade: afraid of pissing dyna blade off. she cleaved a fully grown tree in half by flying. do you want to piss someone like her off? if you see some kid trying to piss her off you'd beat them up to avoid her killing everyone too honestly

great cave offensive: you kinda just. showed up and started beating the shit out of everyone. after you brutalized the hell out of that first knuckle joe who was just training everyone became terrified of you and your insatiable lust for treasure

Morpho “Valfrey” Gamble Reappette

they/them (occasionally talks in 3rd person on accident)

Age: ???. immortal, and what they say their age is(somewhere in the 30’s) is usually unreliable because it usually suits their needs. Is known to be one of the youngest deities in the Gamble Galaxy however(only older than their successor)

Height: 5'00 ft/150 cm

Species: butterfly. specifically, a whole lot of butterflies given godly power. often just calls themself a reaper or a butterfly-sectra however

Morpho, despite being a god, is far from mature and a tad astray from benevolent. They’re more akin to a playful child if anything, often holding grudges over little things and being rather impulsive, though they usually mean well. It’s rare to see Morpho acting how one would expect a god to act, but when they do? run.

Morpho is the Monarch Reaper of the Gamble Galaxy, which means they are the first and leading reaper. That specification never really mattered until they got a son successor though. They are also known to be the patron deity of the Sectra species and other insects.

As a reaper, Morpho has the ability to judge, ferry, and reincarnate souls. They also have the ability to traverse through both Deathrealms(Paradise and Underworld). They rarely do any reaping however, often doing something else whenever they can. Nobody’s truly sure why... 

Morpho was well known amongst the gods to be very involved in mortal affairs. Specifically because they were also one of the Heroes of Yore. However, the names of the heroes have been lost to history and only titles remain. Morpho’s is known the Knight of Doom due to their tendency to appear whenever disaster strikes. Despite quite literally being unable to hurt anyone due to their incompleteness, Morpho was a skilled dual-swordsman and a wondrous magic user.

Ever since a certain event, Morpho’s relations with the other gods have been... estranged, to put it simply. There are the few that feel bad for the reaper, but they all know what Morpho did in that certain event was very very wrong. Before that, Morpho got along somewhat with most gods. Necrodeus and Dark Nebula used to treat Morpho like a little sibling due to the closeness of their elements, Nova and Ricia were on very good relations with Morpho(if yknow what i mean), and Papi was their adopted and very loving son. Now... it’s very complicated.

After that event, Morpho was deemed unfit to be a god and was cursed to be stuck as a swarm of butterflies. over the centuries, many butterflies were killed. Thanks to an old friend they were able to return, though simultaneously weaker and stronger than before. The other gods probably won’t be too happy to learn they’re back.
