Biography: A long time ago, a queen ruled over a land with peace and love in her heart. The land never fought, and always made sure to keep friends with every nation they could. However, one day, vikings came to the land and pillaged. Many died, as they were not ready for war. They took over - and the land became the slaves of these horrific people. The viking king took the queen as his own, and they had a child. A girl. Simone. The viking was not proud he had a girl, and continued trying for a boy to take the crown when he passed. Meanwhile, the queen tried her best to teach her daughter of the love she had ruled the land with. Simone saw that her land was suffering under her father and grew angry. Her people were being wronged every day. So, she decided to kill her father and the other vikings - so that her land could return to the peace it had. In the night, she took her father’s sword and slew him with it. Simone was captured before she could kill more and sentenced to be hanged. Before she was hung, she cursed those to wield her sword to end all those who would wrong others as her people had been wronged. Fast forward a few thousand years. A young orphan boy wandered in a woods and found a sword covered in vines and brambles. Covah. He took the sword, and princess’s ghost came forward. Simone took the boy under her wing, teaching him to kill all those who did evil. He was to be judge, jury, and executioner. He listened to her - as she was the most mother like figure he knew. Mother knows best, right? He became a martyr of justice. All who wronged others would fall under his sword. The curse of the sword gave the boy an extended life - only allowing him to die if he was to be killed for his crimes. But, as Covah grows older, he finds that he questions Simone’s teachings more and more. And their right to kill others without trial or even a chance to change themselves. Simone grew more abusive, verbally and physically abusing Covah when he questioned her. She had already been verbally abusive, learning it from her father and mimicking the act. Eventually, Covah finds himself with a choice. End the reign of Simone by destroying the sword she possesses. And loose his only friend and family. Or let her continue to order him around. Abuse him. And keep killing as he always knew.

Appearance: They both usually wear purples, as it’s a “royal” color, and wield the same sword; a sword that looks much like Rose’s Sword (from Steven Universe) Simone usually covers her extra eyes and mouth with her bandanna.

Personality: Covah is quiet, and reserved. He keeps to himself and has no friends, as he was never taught social skills. Simone is a leader - giving out commands and expecting them to be followed. She is easily angered, and has a more nasty and biting personality to those who are against her or her mission. Those who are for her, or good people, get a more honeyed Simone. Kind. Catering.

Favourite & Least Favourite things: Covah enjoys yoga, nature, swords, standing up for those who have been wronged, chewing on things (oral fixation) Covah hates people wronging others, abuse of any kind, has scorophobia after his and Simone’s story ends Simone enjoys quiet environments, more “traditional” people (mom, dad, 2.5 children), the sea, those who take the time to care for others. Simone hates disobedience, injustice, evil, anything that goes against her mission, those who would question her, collars/chokers, boats, birds (will never say why).

Strengths and Weaknesses: Covah is a very obedient man, willing to follow the words of anyone in authority. He is a very impressive fighter and sword fighter, with practice since he was seven. Simone has a powerful presence, and a silver tongue. But, she’s easily frustrated and throws almost tantrums when things don’t go her way.

Additional notes: Covah is non-verbal, signing to communicate.
