I know the scarlet heart ryeo fandom is as dead as hae soo but I’m gonna need someone to get on a gif set or edit or SOMETHING of sosoo and hozier’s new song Francesca it is just yet another perfectly heartbreaking version of their story

So, apparently, it took seven years, but the Moon Lovers scriptwriter has actually managed to get a publisher for her entire unabridged script and it's going to include the DELETED MODERN DAY MEETING/ENDING BETWEEN HAE SOO AND WANG SO aka probably the perfect ending we were robbed of. Naturally, the script is in Korean.
Talk about blast from the past!
In other news, the buyers get the by now famous handkerchief Wang So gives her in the modern day with the last words we heard him utter at the end of the final episode when he wiped the makeup away and vowed to find Soo no matter where she was.

Doesn’t that remind you of anything ?
So the characters don't really have fire and water powers, but they are symbolically associated with its elements. Wang So is a prince from the Goryeo era with a scar, put aside in consequence, and Hae Soo is from the modern world, which following a drowning accident is found in the body of a girl from the Goryeo era, sister of the wives of one of Wang So's brothers. This ship may also remind you of Reylo. Go for it if the concept please !

The one negative when it comes to watching asian dramas that were based off of novels is that often times things won't make sense and you just have to accept that.
Due to budget or time constraints or censorship laws, etc etc etc, things will inevitably have to be changed, modified, or left out, and often times things that would have made perfect sense in the novel will either be left unexplained in the drama, or be modified in such a way that it no longer makes any sense.
Probably one of the most obvious/well-known examples of this would be in The Untamed, when Wei Wuxian asks Lan Wangji to lend him his headband to use as a blindfold.
I don't think I need to explain why that sounded absolutely ridiculous to drama-only fans (myself included).
