Notes: I am so sorry this took to long, but here it is, I am not sure if it is any good so I am sorry if it's not, but I hope you like it. I also wasn't sure how else to write it, but I tried :D

"-And most of the desert will end up as a giant hole" Grian explained as he pointed at the map, "with hope we'll take a life or two"

"And if not we hunt them down" Scar grinned, putting his hands on his hips.

"sounds like a solid plan to me" Scott gave a nod, "Me and Jimmy will supply the potions, fire resistance, harming, speed, that sort of stuff"

"Great, because we'll need it" Grian's wings fluffed a bit before settling back down.

“Who’s going to be in the bunker to pull the lever?” Jimmy asked, worry carved into his face.

“I was thinking you and Scar in the bunker, you both are on your final lives, it will be safer in there than out on the field where me and Scott will be” Grian nodded, before looking up at Scott, “we might lose a life out there”

“That’s fine, whatever ends this so we can go back to our peaceful life” Scott said, moving to hold Jimmy’s hand tightly, missing how Scar’s nose twitched a bit at the motion.

“Alright, as long as you are aware of what can happen” Grian sighed a bit with a small shrug, he snapped his fingers, “Jimmy, I want to show you everything in the bunker, I don’t want you messing with the wrong stuff”

“Right” Jimmy nodded, pulling from Scott slowly, just before he did though Scott kissed the side of his head.

“Scar, why don’t you show Scott where any extra stuff can go” Grian suggested as he used one of his wings to push Jimmy towards the bunker buried in the sand.

“Yeah, works for me!” Scar beamed, he seemed completely trained on the interaction that Jimmy and Scott shared, but moved swiftly to grab Scott’s hand, holding it tightly, and started to lead him in a different direction.

“Grian set up these chests in different areas so we’ll have to check them out” Scar hummed out, smiling at Scott.

“Alright, sounds good, I’ll be sure to make enough potions to spread them all out so we aren’t caught off guard.” Scott nodded as Scar led him around the mountain, stopping at where the creeper farm was.

“This is where G is currently keeping everything” Scar said, opening the chest that had some gunpowder in it, “it was more full, but tnt” he chuckled.

“Alright, because of how close it is to the bunker I’ll probably put some speed in here” Scott nodded, putting his free hand on his hip, “maybe some healing for you and Jimmy, just in case”

“I actually wanted to ask you something” Scar cleared his throat, “about you and Jimmy”

“Oh?” Scott raised an eyebrow, “alright, what is it?”

“Are you two actually together? Or is the husband thing a bit?” Scar asked, tilting his head.

“Well, it’s complicated, we said we would talk about it properly after the war” Scott said, “Why?”

“Oh, no reason just… curious” Scar said, holding up Scott’s hand and kissed the back of it.

“For some reason I don’t really believe you” Scott snorted lightly, watching Scar closely.

“Aw, you don’t?” Scar faux pouted before shooting Scott a grin, “why not?”

“So many reasons” Scott laughed, a sound that Scar just wanted to bottle to listen for the days to come, shaking his head.

“Such a shame” Scar sighed dramatically as his eyes trained onto Scott’s face, he couldn’t help but wonder if he could-

“Alright, so, where is the next chest?” Scott asked.

“Mmm, hold on” Scar said, softer than some of his other words before.

He had one chance at this.

He wasn’t going to mess this up.

Because this one chance could lead to so many more things.

Scar cupped Scott’s face and quickly kissed him.

Maybe with this, Scott would be in a relationship that wasn’t ‘complicated’ and would be with someone that actually communicated how they were feeling and not just bits and pieces.

He could only hope.

I made a series of card designs based on the canon and fanon curses from the life series!

The Canary Curse:

Based on the tale of miners bringing a canary in a coal mine to test the air. If the bird dies, the air is unsafe. This player will die first.

The Widow Curse:

This player is fated to final kill a close ally, friend, or partner. They make close connections that ultimately are betrayed, purposely or accidentally.

The Red Insanity Curse

This player will go insane once reaching their final life and gain a bloodlust that reaches beyond anything in their previous lives. They become reckless and completely unhinged.

The Enchanter Curse

This player gains an unhealthy obsession with enchanting tables to the point of life loss, endangering allies, and losing everything.

The Coal Miner Curse

Also a reference to the canary in a coal mine. This player will die directly after the canary

The Isolation Curse

This player will die alone away from anyone else, or to an act by their own hand.

The Allies Blessing

Rather than a curse, this card is a blessing. Allies or players who have landed themselves in good graces with this player will come to win a season in the near future.

The Winners Curse:

The final player of a season, the winner, will die after winning. To their own hand, or by other means.

Some curses are now broken! I still wanted to draw them despite that lol

To Scar, appointed villain by the universe, who kept trying to make friends. Who was finally given free rein to form alliances and bonds, only to play every group against each other. Who found an ally willing to die for him in the end, only to turn on her the second there was no one but the two of them left.

For those who don’t know what tf this is, it’s a custom gem art I ordered online (with artists permission) like the ones u can get at (insert art store name).

This is also 3ft (97cm) long. For reference on how fucking big this thing is there’s is a picture of me holing it up and last I checked I’m roughy 5’4” (pic at bottom so this post ain’t so fucking long)

But yeah I’m absolutely in love with this and still need to slap some mod podge over this behemoth. My next project is a little more reasonable and I’ve already got permission from a new artist to use her work!

Scott idly watched as the enchantment table's book floated up and down.

Somehow, someway he and Pearl got a hold of it once again, and at this point he was just waiting to hear Impulse and Grian in his walls to take it back.

He'd place diamonds on them showing up at this point.

They always did whenever he got his hands on something important.

"Oh Scottt!" A sing song voice of someone he knew far to well, "My diamonddd"

Scott could help but to giggle at the pet name used by his one and only lover, who happened to be Scar.

"Yes my ruby?" Scott asked, turning around to face the stairs of the underground bunker that he found himself spending most of his time in.

Scar hopped down a few steps, letting his purple cloak flare around him for a moment before settling down once more, "I heard from a birdie that you got the enchantment table" he grinned widely.

"Any chance I could... Mmm... Borrow it?"

"By borrow you mean take it and hide it in your little tower right?" Scott said with amusement.

"I don't hide it away" Scar gasped dramatically as he placed a hand on his chest while taking big strides to Scott.

"I don't know..." Scott hummed out, leaning his head back as Scar wrapped his arms around his waist, his thumbs rubbing into his side, "I'd have to ask Pearl" he gave a small shrug with a sly grin, "we are a duo after all"

Scar pouted with a chuff, "Oh but my dearr"

"I meann, if you are willing to give me a life then maybe I can think about it" Scott's grin grew as he ran his finger down Scar's chest.

Scar gasped at that, "a life, now you are talking crazy" he thought for a moment, "how about a kiss instead? I need all of the lives I can get you know, you remember 3rd life"

"I do" Scott chuckled lightly, shaking his head, before letting out a small hum, "a kiss and dinner"

"a kiss and dinner" Scar repeated with his own grin, "well who am I to say no to such a deal from such a pretty flower of mine" he said before grabbing Scott's hand and kissed the back of it before trailing the kisses up Scott's arm, making their way over the fae's jaw, the corner of his mouth, under his eye's, the tip of his nose, before finally Scar stole a kiss from Scott's lips, pulling in the other tighter as he just left the cyannette breathless.

"does that seal the deal?" Scar had a cocky grin as he stared down at Scott, who's face was flustered and small flowers popped up in his hair.

Scott chuckled, "that it does my love" he said, getting up from the enchantment table he sat on.

"Yeah!" Scar cheered, quickly grabbing the magical item "thank you my diamond" he said, stealing a short kiss from Scott before he scrambled up the stairs.

"your welcome my ruby" Scott chuckled shaking his head as he hovered his fingers over his lips with a giddy smile.
