favorite thing: in a meta-sense, she really is the missing piece of my BPR. adding her in helped round out the plot for the first three generations, added a lot of worldbuilding stuff, and gives Vino more to do. character wise?? for all her struggles with living a morally good life, she really sees through to the truth of people. she’s awful at being like… good and honest and kind, but she’s perceptive.

least favorite thing: in the RP, my least favorite thing is that it took her a really long time to get where she is, character-wise. in general? she refuses to accept when she’s been wrong, and will dig herself into a deeper and deeper hole. every. time.

favorite line: i asked @glimmerstonesims what to pick because i don’t know!!!!!!!!!!!! 

“I'm not a good person. But I'd like to be.” is what I’m settling on, because it encompasses her. It’s the single most Gemma statement ever.

the second is probably “They should listen to me, when I speak”--she’s always doing a lot of double-talk in RP. she doesn’t lie. she just skips parts of the full truth, you know.

random headcanon RP to BPR change: Gemma Watts is the half-blood illegitimate daughter of muggleborn Allegra Watts and pureblood Vikram Joshi. She struggles to reconcile her blood status with her pureblood supremacist ideals. This translates into berries as a raw berry….. with a glaring birthmark. 

unpopular opinion: she’s my favorite character of all time, I think. more than Maddy Moon. really!

👀 Dead End Drive!

Oooooh! Thank you Sam! 💚 This is a really good one! Especially fits the spooky mood I’ve been in recently. :D

Building that house took soooo long. So, so long. 😑 And then it didn’t even work well for the gameplay part of the challenge. I had to move everyone to a smaller house just so they’d talk to Agatha!

But since it’s been so long, when I get back to it my plan is to do some slight updates to get everyone’s cc up to date and retake some of the opening shots before reposting the intro. I may also replay up to the first elimination although I have another idea on how to handle that.

And since it’s been so long since I talked about the story, I’m just going to keep going - There are so many people with so many hidden plans in that story! I LOVE IT! Especially Agatha. She’s got some really interesting plans considering this competition - including the fact that here at the beginning, she has no intention of spending the rest of her life with any of the contestants!

I assume you didn’t mean to ask twice but I’m gonna answer twice I have too many thoughts in my head 😂

BPR!!! Generation!!! 3!!! Or otherwise known as the ghost gen. I don’t know why I took the “the world is a scary place” thing and made it ghosts but you know, I don’t question it.

Casper has a big part in this gen, actually. He helps out the heiress, Petunia (it’s a holder name, I just know it’ll be a flower), quite a bit. After all, how could someone named Casper not be a big help during ghostly gen?

It starts when Petunia is a teenager, but I’m its current state has plans for plenty of flashbacks to her childhood. As much as I’d like to explore that part of her life to its fullest, I want to be able to actually get through the generation, because most of it happens when she’s a teen.

What does happen when she’s a teen? Murder mystery! Not some recent murder either, but an old murder with many theories surrounding it that people have been trying to solve in the many years since it’s occurrence. Did the police really have no evidence? Was it just a cover up, or something more? What is the true identity of the culprit? Find out next time!

I haven’t quite ironed out the edges yet, but I’m very excited to be able to work on it. One day. One day..

favorite thing: he really loves his friends at the end of the day. especially Kabi & Maddy. and I think that’s important--that at the end of the day, even when he’s angry or upset or whatever, he’ll put it aside to take care of the people he cares about

least favorite thing: wishy-washy boy with a quietly mean streak! make up your damn mind Orange, or at least be kind about it!!!!! 

favorite line: anytime he calls Kabi “K-Cup”

random headcanon: he was never the worst in school, but he’s kind of a dorky class clown, so he was never really the best either. he becomes a police officer as an adult.

unpopular opinion aborted arc: depending on where everyone’s storylines traveled, he might have ended up dead :/ that particular plot path has been eliminated for Lunacy (its an unpopular opinion because anytime I mentioned the idea, people “in the know” would react BADLY I promise I will not kill OJ Zest off for drama)

Hi Sam!!!!

So... Awhile ago, I was looking at the founders of my bpr, and thinking, wow, I made them 2 years ago (3 in Plum’s case), my sim style has changed so much. So, on a whim, I gave them makeovers. Not to say I don’t like the original sims, unless it’s Casper, but I really liked how they turned out! Plum looks... Nearly the same, he’s a sim ahead of his time. This ended with me thinking, you know, I really liked the intro to my bpr, but I also don’t. I liked the general idea I had, but I didn’t like how I actually portrayed it, and a lot of ideas I had changed partway through so it wasn’t quite as good as I had wanted it to be.

So. Why not redo it? Not the whole thing I don’t have the heart and soul for that, just the intro. With the makeover sims. It just works better that way. Maybe. I’ve already got most of it laid out and some of the scenes done, so there’s that!

Some changes to come:

Casper’s family, namely his mother, is actually part of the story now, whereas originally they just didn’t exist whatsoever. There’s also subtle references to someone who wasn’t part of the story when I was writing the original intro, because when I was writing it, I had no idea what I was doing. Just generally more on Casper’s family and how they’re really the ones who run this rodeo.

Coconut’s mother has changed quite a bit. Instead of being strict for the sake of being strict, she has her reasons. One being that her husband spoke up against Casper’s parents, and was never heard from again. He was pretty useless in the first place, I didn’t know what to do with him, but now look he serves some sort of purpose.

There is more emphasis on the kind side of Casper, in which it’s actually seen. Just little things sometimes, reading books quietly by Coconut painting, bringing her art supplies, letting her use his phone. My original plan was not to have him part of the story after she runs away, so originally his only personality was jerk. He’s still a jerk at points, but now he’s someone that Coconut can’t bring herself to hate.

For set-indulgent reasons there is so much more gasper. I have a problem.

Anyway so if anyone wants to tell me to stop starting projects I haven’t even finished the one thing I should be working on, that would be great
