Okay now I need to know what would happen if sori joined a different clan. What would he have been named what would his warrior name end up being, would things for his clan go differently , how would his life change?

Very long post ahead - I got carried away my bad

n ShadowClan scary names are meant to intimidate evil beings and show strength as a warrior. He might've still been named Leopardpaw just because it's an honorable name, but other names include Salamanderpaw- (for his bright coat) or Adderpaw- (for his normally kind demanor). Then as he's a scrappy cat, I can see it going into Salamanderclaw or becaue ShadowClan would be more aggressive about his origins, Addersnap because he's be snarky and insulting all the time.

He would defintely have fought the hell out of Brokenstar every step of the way and he probably would've been the one to put his pride aside and go ask ThunderClan for help. Let's say his name was Adderpaw here and he becomes semi-decent friends with Sandpaw while he stays with ThunderClan with Brightflower seeking help. He does return to ShadowClan when ThunderClan helps dethrone Brokenstar but he remains on friendly terms with her and Dustpaw who's absolutely heartbroken about the death of his brother Ravenpaw and the disappearance of Graypaw.

Graypaw who he finds camped out in ShadowClan territory covered in mud and frickin terrified. He agrees not to say anything about him being there and looks after him until Bluestar's sudden death in qhich he interrogates him. Graypaw admits that Ravenpaw confessed that Tigerclaw killed their deputy and when Graypaw was helping him escape, Tigerclaw ambushed them. Ravenpaw didn't make it but Graypaw was able to escape to ShadowClan where he'd been until Adderpaw - now Addersnap - found him.

Graypaw probably becomes a medic from this point having learned a bit from Spottedleaf and from experimenting or secretly speaking to Turtlepaw about herbs. Addersnap becomes deputy and acting leader while Nightstar suffers through the illnesses.

ThunderClan is under strict military control with Tigerstar making constant raids on the Shining Sun kicking off a war between the two. Addersnap appeals to Magpiestar who is wary about siding with ShadowClan but trusts him and agrees to stand against ThunderClan while RiverClan remains neutral until the last minute. Sandpaw now Sandstorm leads the rebellion against Tigerstar and when he dies, ThunderClan chooses her as leader.

Adderstar probably elected Littlecloud as his deputy, Applescratch is his executioner and his first-born daughter would be his heir. Sandstar takes over as ThunderClan leader with Dustslash as her deputy. Leoparstar is big chillin with Stoneswipe and Magpiestar eventually gives up the reigns to Deaddstar who elects Quietmelody as his deputy.

RiverClan defintely would've named him Leopardpaw- or Ladybirdpaw- for his coat. Because Leopardshine is there, if named Leopardpaw he'd have to practice twice as hard to be seen as capable and likely would get a name honoring his focus and dedication - Leopardbeam. If named Ladybirdpaw he'd more follow along just being a good warrior - probably prefers dry-hunting to aquatic hunting and definitely friendlier towards ThunderClan than his clanmates would like. Actually, he's so friendly that Ladybirdpaw would probably become Ladybirdtongue as a diplomat.

RiverClan probably gets the Sunnignrocks deal much faster considering Ladybirdpaw is willing to actually listen to them about why they need the rocks and isn't clouded by history. He consistently fights his clanmates about the need to broker peace with ThunderClan and is very vocal about his opinion on chasing out WindClan a second time even as his clan starves. The non-sense that happened with Brokenstar lasts a wee-bit longer but Bluestar takes action against him and temporarily occupies ShadowClan territory until all of the rogue stragglers are hunted down and imprisoned.

In fact, he's so deeply against driving out Magpiestar's clan he outright refuses to fight. In RiverClan, diplomats aren't necessarily meant to fight - and in some cases they're actually discouraged from figthting - but Ladybirdpaw outright refusing to assist his clan was more of a statement than anything. Stormstar sentenced him to constant tasks alone that he did without question and refused to change his mind - when the patrol left for the attack, he tells them that when they return defeated, they'll know the stars were disappointed in them.

Stormstar gave him a lot of credit for now crowing "I told you so" when RiverClan came back after ThunderClan intervened. He did name him Ladybirdtongue though and promised to listen to him more - something that resulted in the rejuvenation of RiverClan after Ladybirdongue worked out a deal with ThunderClan. They later recieved refugees from ThunderClan caused by Tigerstar's lust for power and violence against anyone of non-clan blood.

Deputy Stoneswipe all but loses his shit when it's revealed that Tigerstar murdered Bluestar and claimed it was for the good of the clan. Ladybirdtongue is at Leopardstar's side for this incident as ThunderClan allies with ShadowClan in an attempt to strong-arm them into joining him after assassinating both Magpiestar and Deadfoot sending WindClan into political chaos.

By the end of it all, Sorrelshine becomes Sorrelstar, Sandstorm defeats and overthrows Tigerstar and becomes Sandstar again albeit with Ravensnap as her deputy; Raven having faked his death after revealing the truth to Bluestar. Bluestar sacrificed herself for him and he wants to be a good leader for her. Grayplume is clumsy and bit naiive but Ladybirdtongue likes him well enough - they're mates on the low and complain about their idiot clanmates always wanting to fight good-naturedly. ShadowClan is mostly fine; Scorchstar takes over with Lizardstripe as deputy.

WindClan would be the most interesting - in this instance he'd probably be seeking out his father's mate. Magpiestar would name him Copperpaw (since Hraye means "copper") after his father. Copperpaw would probably experiment with being called Firepaw. Flashpaw and Cyclonepaw before settling on Coppertempest as a warrior. He'd likely be an escort and when Magpiestar retires and Deadstar takes control, he becomes WindClan's new deputy and the first Escort deputy in recent WindClan history.

He fights pretty damn hard when they're driven from their home and makes good friends with the ThunderClanners who bring them back. He harbors a deep distrust for ShadowClan - understandably so. Magpiestar retires early as Brokenstar tried to murder Copperpaw and he took the blow from him + all the hunger had him die a couple times. Copperpaw becomes Coppertempest when he absolutely destroys a rogue ambush patrol led by Brokentail.

Most of this AU would be Coppertempest dealing with the complaints of him being an escort who knows nothing but camp politics and being leader. The other stuff with Tigerstar is certainly important but it wouldn't be the main focus as he's struggling to get a handle on the civil war arising. His clan eventually settles down and accepts they may be wrong about him - and of course he is the best option as deputy. Coppertempest gets along well with ThunderClan who has always rushed to WindClan's aid; when Bluestar is attacked, she managed to escape and takes refuge in WindClan as Bluedawn and explains what happened even as Tigerstar claims that she was abusing her power at the next Gathering.

Supporters of Bluedawn are killed off or sneak away to regroup in WindClan as well with the intent of taking back their territory. It's a hard battle but they do succeed - Bluedawn retakes her title as leader and names Longtail as her deputy because he was a mole for her and her supporters during all of this mess.

Personality

Hold on, Salamanderpaw! Stop running and just sit there for one second! Salamanderpaw’s a new apprentice and kind of a mess, but that doesn’t stop him from getting into anything he can get his tiny paws on! This apprentice is full to bursting with energy all the time and is insatiably curious about everything, from why the moon changes shapes to where birds go at night. The other Woodclan warriors were a bit apprehensive at who’d get such a wild troublemaker as their apprentice, but so far, Duskfire seems up to the task; Pheasantstar hoped that Duskfire’s calm, patient demeanor would rub off on Salamanderpaw... but so far, no luck. 

He means well, but his mouth runs so much he gets a little annoying, and sometimes he doesn’t know when to stop, resulting in some unintentional insults. He’s shaping up to be a good bird hunter, though, as long as Duskfire can shut him up long enough.

Backstory

Salamanderkit was found on the edge of Woodclan territory as just a tiny kit; it seemed that his mom had abandoned him for one reason or another. Well, such things happen, and Pheasantstar was eager to take in a new cat right in the middle of a slower kit season than normal. Hazelheart agreed to nurse him, having given birth just the day before, naming him Salamanderkit for his black-and-orange marks.

The only kit in their litter, Saltkit grew up alongside Spiderkit, even well into their apprenticeship. Spiderpaw and Saltpaw were mentored by Paleswirl and Snowpoppy, the past medicine cat. Spiderpaw admired Saltpaw for their skill in herbs and Saltpaw admired Spiderpaw for her hunting abilities and her skill in battles. Saltpaw was known to be the snappy medicine cat, often berating apprentices for being injured in the caves, while Snowpoppy was kind. Despite this, Spiderpaw knew that Saltpaw cared about their Clanmates deeply.

Spiderpaw became Spidereyes, and Saltpaw continued their long training. When Saltpaw became Saltsnap, the two cats decided to become mates. Spidereyes excelled, becoming one of the best warriors in CaveClan, and Saltsnap was proud, but with all the apprentices their mate was getting, it became clear that Spidereyes had no time for them.

Seasons went by, Snowpoppy passed away, and Saltsnap and Spidereyes were getting older and more distant. Spidereyes became deputy and Saltsnap got their own apprentice in Dovepaw. Saltsnap began feeling weird. It didn't take long to realize: they were pregnant. They had taken care of plenty of queens to recognize the signs. When they told Spidereyes, they were shocked by the reluctant look in her eyes. Spidereyes explained that she wasn't ready for kits; Duststar, the leader before her, was getting older and it was nearly time for her to become leader. Teary eyed, Saltsnap asked what she was supposed to do, and Spidereyes said that she must raise the kit on her own. Saltsnap promised her mate that she'd do so.

Dovepaw helped Saltsnap with her birth. There was only one kitten. Dovepaw had said they looked like a salamander, which Saltsnap agreed with, naming them Salamanderkit.

Saltsnap watched Salamderkit grow up, happy to see her apprenticed to the deputy, Specklestone. Salamanderpaw became Salamanderspots, and Saltsnap and Spiderstar silently decided they were no longer mates.

The oldest medicine cat in the Clans, Saltsnap was about ready to retire to the elder's den. Dovepaw, now Dovepoppy, knew enough about herbs and being a medicine cat now, just a few moons older than Salamanderspots. Dovepoppy wouldn't be happy if her mentor retired, still worried she wasn't ready to be the only medicine cat in CaveClan. Saltsnap's heart swelled when Dovepoppy announced that her and Salamanderspots were mates. They reminded them so much of her and Spiderstar.

PLOT(ISH)

winchesters were kittypets until house cuaght fire, killed(?) merry, boys became street cats and the kids had john change their names

main angel cast are in one clan, woodchuck and darkshadow are AWOL

naomi is the head of the family, being the mother of woodchuck's oldest (the archangels) and burningfang is the "second in command"

lightfall banished after he and burningfang had a violent spat that ended in goldenhawk "dying" (he faked his death and became a rogue named loki), rootwhisker and burningfang "fighting" for dominance

fallencrow has trouble sticking to the clan's strict rules and devotion to starclan

stag runs away to a city group where he meets jess, stays for a few moons before going bakc out to find john

dune saves stag from a few dogs and is chased into clan territory where he's saved by a patrol and ultimately fallencrow. his arrival was prophesized so hes initally seen as a good sign

stag is stressed out of his mind trying to find his brother, eventually dropping out of bobby's range of communication for a while in a fit of desperation and stress

stag's psychic powers are more so prophetic dreams until they die off by the "season 3 premiere" era, sometimes has some but they're fuzzier now

there's ghosts and sometimes minor deities, other monsters are just cats out of their minds or other predatorial animals

fallencrow's more willing to bend the rules after meeting dune

dune is the OPPOSITE of what the clan expected their righteous man to be and resent him for turning fallencrow soft

burningfang isn't evil more than he is just trying to keep his family from crumbling after his father disappeared and two of his brothers were exiled or "died". hes just very stressed and now more prone to snapping and being aggressive but he's really just doing what he sees as right. hes an antagonist for a while, yes, but he's not a villain

jack comes in at some point i just have to decide when/where argh

stag and dune reunite after dune heals enough and bails, though he hates leaving fallencrow behind

"i will see you again, won't i, dune?" "...we'll see, 'crow." "i look forward to it, then."

stag is estatic to learn clan cats are real, but less estatic when dune recounts his experience with them, calling them "dicks". stag wants fo meet fallencrow and dune feels bad for having to leave him behind now that the clan is mad at dune for "fucking up" fallencrow's moral compass

and thats all i have right now argh!

Okay here's the story of how Salamanderpaw became Salamandersplash!

So as you know theres a code that states that no warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan. As time has gone on many warriors began to pick and choose which codes they wanna uphold and this particular one is often ignored for the sake of weakening a clan and keeping clan bloodlines pure. And so on one particular day a patrol of windclan cats discovered a drowning kit in the lake but rather than immediately jumping into action they began to discuss amongst themselves whether or not they knew the kit and if it'd be beneficial to rescue it.

Salamanderpaw was out gathering herbs for his mentor Bluestripe when he was drawn in by the commotion and upon seeing the kit he IMMEDIATELY dropped everything and dropped into the water from the ledge he was standing on. This caused a pretty big splash which got the attention of the patrol who had still done nothing. Now, despite being a riverclan cat Salamanderpaw was very afraid of large bodies of water but at that very moment all he could think about was saving that kit no matter what.

Salamanderpaw did manage to save the kit and the patrol caught up with him, teasing that riverclan should do better in teaching their kits to swim. To which Salamanderpaw responded with: "Oh I don't know who this is!" And proceeded to carry the kit back to camp.

And then he was named Salamandersplash

@riflekind heya, thanks for the ask! could you elaborate further on which character(s) you’re talking about (i have two trans boys on the blog right now.. but i assume you mean hawthornpaw) and also what those “traditionally feminine” features are? if this is in reference to his long eyelashes, i hope i make it clear through my art that i give all (ok.. 99%) of my characters eyelashes as a stylistic choice and i do not believe that they fetishize/effeminate.. salamanderpaw has them as well. if this is because he has a flower .. i also just love flowers and those aren’t inherently feminine to me (plus, as he is a healer i think they make sense). cis masculine cats on the blog in the future will have flowers and eyelashes as well.

given a sample size of, 3 cats on this blog, i can see that it is possibly alarming that one of the trans boys has the longest eyelashes and a flower? but i’d like to say that i have many, many more trans ocs that do not have “feminine features” in the slightest (i guess except eyelashes) and i hope it becomes apparent that my trans characters can act/be anywhere they want on that spectrum and i do not intentionally draw them with “feminine” characteristics, most definitely not for the purpose of fetishization

feel free to send me a msg if you would like to further elaborate your point as, again, i’m not really sure what comes off as traditionally feminine. thank u!
