I don’t think I’ve mentioned this before, but I really enjoy watching Saito Naoki’s videos ✨✨✨
He has a series where people submit their art and ask him to make corrections for parts they’re struggling with - it’s very informative in helping one understand where they’re going wrong with a drawing, but my favourite part is how positively Saito always frames his thoughts and criticisms. He always takes time to compliment the illustration’s strong points like “the colour expression is great!” or “the sense of movement has been captured well!”
So on top of being instructional, they’re just really uplifting to watch!
He has more pure instruction videos on how to draw, and Q&A videos to address various artist issues that have me going “yeah, I was wondering about that!”
Just a fun time all round.
He unfortunately lost his YT account not long after I originally started following him, but his new channel is steadily rebuilding as he uploads old videos and adds new ones.

if any of my followers are artists struggling with learning how to draw better, I recommend Saito Naoki.
dude's a major inspiration and releases really good content with accurate English subtitles.
Plus he's a Pokémon card artist :D

i couldn't find any HQ versions of these so i tried to enhance Naoki Saito's artwork of Red w/ Charizard & Blue w/ Blastoise for the first volume of the Pokemon Center Trainers Collection
EDIT: there's finally an HD version! uploaded by the official Pokemon twitter!
