I'm very excited to announce a streaming cooperation with the European Musical Theatre Discord server I'm lucky to be a part of! We're watching the 2014 St. Gallen pro-shot with English subtitles.

Artus Excalibur is loosely based on the legend of King Arthur and his sword Excalibur and features Patrick Stanke, Sabrina Weckerlin, and Mark Seibert in prominent roles.

I must admit that I don't stan enough non-euroshow actors to have interesting out of left field todolf ideas... 😂😂😭😭 I think Máté and Fritz are pretty perfect together, as are Uwe and Andy...

Ooh one pretty interesting pipe dream todolf opportunity would be Marjan Shaki (probably as Rudolf, idk how she does with "exceedingly pathetic meow meow" because women generally don't get many parts like that, but 😂) and - bear with me here, it's not just because she's blonde - Wietske van Tongeren!! 👀👀👀👀👀👀 that would kind of slay especially if they were as weird with it as the original productions are (there is a Sabrina Weckerlin and Roberta Valentini concert Schatten but it is not gay and violent enough for me AJJDKFLFLF).

Ooh and also, Miiko Toiviainen as Tod and [some Finnish twink actorguy] [💀 idk i'm giving newcomers an opportunity to prove themselves] as Rudolf 😌😌 Manifesting this 🙏🙏🙏🙏 I think Miiko would've been a great Rudolf when he was younger but he's def more a Tod type now. I hope Finnish city theatres see how popular he is as the Emcee rn (deservedly!!!) and put Elisabeth on as a star vehicle show for him. And he's even blond a lot of the time already, so xD

On a purely acting level though - because I don't know how these people would approach the roles - the ones from my prev answers would be pretty perfect in a production with their respective peak interpretations though (Máté and Andy, Uwe and Lukas, etc.)

Well the pre show is for another hour and I just read that for sure Alex Klaws and Sabrina Weckerlin will sing or something (no clue who Sabrina Weckerlin is, but the other is like a musical actor) And Frank-Walter Steinmeier is here so he has probably a reason for security and a few different people

It wasn’t her fault — her doing , it was her mere existence . How could you blame an infant for that ? A child ? An innocent who didn’t ask to be brought into this world ?

Her mother hadn’t survived childbirth , strike one . The second had been when he took a mistress — well her Mother , the Queen was deceased but he didn’t marry her — she produced the long wanted son .

And again it became her problem , her fault . He took his anger out on her as he couldn’t simply say Arthur would take the throne . Beatings became daily , mental lashings besides physical ones . He would eventually send her away so he could marry his mistress and legitimize the boy .

He would punish her in all ways he could possibly think of and manage to for all sins that were his . For she would never know that it was his own doing her Mother’s death .

He had made a bargain and a deal , long before and it would come to cost him the love of his life .

He had swore he’d never marry or love again and he hadn’t , at least in the later . His desires for his new Queen were only carnal and he only gave her title for the sake of his lineage as when the daughter he scorned and sent away returned he would disown and disinherit her . He threw her in chains and became the cause of her hatred for men after events he began transpired .

If she ever had learned or known her fathers tale , all that lead to her existence she would see that she had always been doomed , cursed , fated to a life of misery at the hands of an unhappy man , a man who couldn’t lie in the bed he made . Not without dragging others down along the way — he had created his own hell but would never see it that way .

Magic .

The root of all evil . And she had it besides .

That was a deep down self loathing in the end . A feeling of betrayal from his own parents in giving him something he never wanted in his genetics , because it came from him .

The true root of it all was him .

And she wouldn’t rest until he was gone , not simply from her life but from this world .

Uther Pendragon would cease to breathe .

Because none of it justified any of it .

They weren’t her sins .
