She sighs and has her gaze downcast , “Of course the people matter but if I am blocked by each and everyone one with title or any say ? How successful can I or will I be ? I mean if they all knew .. if any of them knew what I went through besides .. what father put me through and exposed me to ? I’m dirty , broken , not the perfect anything ..” it was her true insecurities coming forth .

“I’m sorry .. I just cannot expect much from people , I want to though .”

‘Him !’

She thinks in a hiss in her thoughts as she catches sight of her brothers serving boy trailing her through the woods .

None of them trusted her she knew that but this was ridiculous — stalking her ? Had Arthur sent him ? Or had it been his own idea ?

She suddenly stops in her journey and sighs .

“Really and truly you would think they’d send someone who could at least sneak !”

And with that she turns on him her eyes glowing .

At the mention of Sarrum she cannot help but to visibly clench , “I’m assuming she may or may not know of the history then ? Or has he suddenly reformed ? If he hasn’t I don’t know that I should be the one to approach . But a seeker does seem a good one to have on our side and have at our disposal . We can easily show the people how you are and who you are and I doubt they will give much care to who you take to bed in the end if it means their mouths are fed and other needs met .” It would give her something fun to tease him about though.

“I think rallying the people with the truth of what we can and will provide will be easiest and the smartest route in the end .” That she was certain of .

"Many." He could name a few. Like warming his bed being one of them. "Scandalous in nature." He grinned over to her. Arthur couldn't help it. Glancing over he saw Merlin's face grow two shades of red again. His ears matched his face.

"Too many are struggling to make ends meat. Many of their families are hungry. It wouldn't take much to sway them. They know I am good for it." Nodding, he agreed. "The Seeker would be a good person to get on our side. I heard she was the ward of Sarrum. Someone with strong magic. Those that don't help, would with her word alone." They would need everyone's help, that Arthur knew.

“And do I at least get to know what kind of color I will be wearing ?” She didn’t exactly like not having much say or control of it but she did appreciate the help as she was hyper focused on Merlin at the time for good reason too .

“The festivities and all for after don’t have to be too large , it’s not as if many will want to show for me anyhow and even less so if they hear I’ve settled for someone without a title .” It was known she had been disowned , that she had magic , that she was trouble so she wouldn’t expect many to simply rally behind her or support this .
