I did not draw what I wanted to/planned to last night but I did enjoy drawing younger versions of these two! So it’s lore drop time!
Both Devious and Sergei were part of (Russian) intelligence forces both from ages 18 but neither met properly until after a mission on a large ship went wrong leaving those two the only survivors. Devious saved Sergei after they were stuck in the ocean before being rescued. Devious was just going to dip and leave Sergei at the hospital but not before informing family and that’s who he found our Sergei had none so guess he’s gonna keep an eye on him. Thus they became friends. Even tho Sergei acts likes an ass sometimes.
Tumblr media
Buuut when Devious was attacked by his own higher ups and framed Sergei managed to find him and join him helping him become the villain boss he is today wiiith the hell of others that I shall introduce properly later too!
Devious went from not being overly ambitious in career placements to being fuelled by spite to be a very powerful person so he can’t sit people on their ass if they try coming after him again. 💀

MWW Artwork of the Day (11/3/23) Grigory Gluckmann (Russian/French, 1898-1973) Daydreams (c. 1939) Oil on board, 71 x 89 cm. Private Collection
Gluckmann's exquisite talent stems from his technical skill and his unique artistic vision. Although a master of various media and suited to render any image, he is best known for his elegant oils of the female figure in a wide range of settings —- at the ballet, on the stage, in the dressing room, at the theater, at the race course. In "Daydreams," one of his most successful works from this series, Gluckmann captures a private moment between two young girls seated at a table. The artist's delicate and intricate brushwork conveys their radiant beauty, while the teacup and rose serve as props, emphasizing the exaggerated perspective of the composition.

I'm enlisting Tumblr for help expanding a playlist of mine on Spotify.
It's called "No English, Just Vibes" and the only rule is...right there in the title. But right now it's a little heavy on like, three artists in particular, and on just a couple languages.
Here's where you come in! Tell me your favorite songs that aren't in English. While I prefer rock, I'm polyjamorous and will take anything into consideration.
Playlist below for anyone who wants the existing vibes to see what we're working with.
(When I queued this, I didn't realize it would be Wrapped day, so honestly this is perfect, please tell me your songs)
