I was feeling really anxious this morning so I hopped on the exercise bike and now I feel WAY better!!!!

Honestly being in a dome of wildlife that will literally kill you was a great experience! It was great to hear Sam and Janine back together again!!! Sam casually mentioning that a few of the draws at Abel are being stuck together with marmite genuinely made me laugh!!!

Although, I fully imagine my arachnophobe of a Runner Five was internally freaking out and trying not to panic whenever she saw a spider. Like that is one of her nightmare situations, being in a room with full of spiders. However despite her wanting to get out of that place ASAP, I reckon Janine’s mention of Sara Smith made her smile as much as it did with me.

I’m looking forwards to the run tomorrow! Breaking into Sigrid’s private computer is going to be *FUN*!

Hi 👋🏻

On September 12, I ran 2 miles in the afternoon. It was a pretty warm day but not too hot. Fall finally showed up and I was feeling good.

I listened to Zombies Run season 2 mission 43.

Spoilers below the picture:

Wow that was an emotional mission. Runner 8 turned out to be the hero and runner 3 was the actual traitor.

I love R8 so much and am so sad she’s gone; she was such an intriguing person who stuck to her principles and did what needed to be done.

It was a tearful moment for me as I re-listened to this mission.

As for R3…. What a shame. It’s hard to believe he was so desperate to live forever that he would poison the entire township.

I bet Janine was devastated because of reasons…

So you’re telling me Abel has a Moonshine and Strip Poker Friday night, that Sam was nowhere to be found after that same night because he was “busy doing patrols for the Phantom of Abel” which was debunked btw, even if everyone in Abel KNOWS to search the comms shack first try if they needed Sam Yao the Radio Operator???

And that this is the same night Runner Five—who is literally born ready according to Sara—woke up from so underprepared that they wore their shirt inside out in a rush to go out on this mission??? This is literally the first time Runner Five showed some type of flaw and it’s their shirt being inside out which only means they took it off the night prior . And picked it up again bc it’s most likely the closest (probably on the floor) . Bc OTHERWISE any person would just search the drawers for something else

“Oh but neeks this can just be pure coincidence!!! Your shippy brain is reading too much into it!!” Okay maybe but listen . LISTEN . It COULD be just a coincidence and i COULD just be full on delusional but you know what validates this theory??? Yeah??? Here you go:

Sam noticeably gets more protective of Runner Five in the next few episodes—hell, in this same one, he kinda scolds Jamie and Isabel for going on a mission to “indulge their obsessive love for a Kid’s TV show and risking Runner Five’s life”; even if he eventually adds on Jamie’s life, the pause made me think it was some sort of a follow-up or afterthought

Then in the next mission, Sam goes out of his way to reassure Five before they do their part with the gate opening thing by being the distraction. Sam always does this and he notably looks out for Five all the time but the way this one was said is so??? Tender??? Like??? I don’t fucking know something about it is DIFFERENT it JUST IS

Anyway tl;dr: That man was doing perimeter patrols on something else and it’s not Abel Township I can tell you that much

Ooooookay so we know that the Links are all very athletic right. They fight enemies and use swords and frequently run through monster hordes and do other hero-y things.

But how *fast* can they run?

So: the Links (from the main story) all have to run a 400 meter dash (approximately 1/4 mile), a mile, and a half marathon. Who finishes each race first, who finishes last, and approximately what are the times of the first and last person to finish each race?

Brought to you by, someone who realized the fastest mile ever run was done in under four minutes and suddenly felt deep pain for the DLinks who have to track down Realm even when his earrings are in place

(But is also wondering who would win each race, since a short sprint is a very different game than distance running)

You made me research olympic track records for this. I hope you're happy.

The 400m dash: Gen wins, because he's not great at distance but Din can that boy sprint. He clocks in roughly at the 50 second mark, and there's a good five seconds of space between him and the next finisher. Realm finishes last, at about two hours and thirteen minutes, because he got lost. This skews the results horribly. Nobody is willing to try it again.

The mile: Lore wins, somewhere around 8-and-a-half minutes, because he just started jogging and then... never stopped. Mask and Dusk are close seconds. Realm finishes last, roughly ten hours later, because he got lost. At this point everybody just mentally removes Realm's time from the list.

The half-marathon: Realm wins by a landslide when he comes in at twenty minutes. Apparently, he got lost. This, at some point, seemed to clash directly with the amount of distance he was trying to travel. Everyone else decides to mentally remove Realm's time from the list again, albeit for completely different reasons. Last finisher is Steam, who does his best but just isn't used to running everywhere the way his siblings are. He comes in at a little over two and a half hours.

(If all modifiers were removed, the winners would be Gen, Realm, and Realm again, respectively. The loser would be Steam, every time, poor boy. With modifiers, such as a wolf, a Goron, a bunny hood, pegasus boots, etc, it's an all-out free for all war and nobody actually sees who got first through all the dust they kicked up.)

On September 3rd I did a 1km warmup run on a mini soccer field. I was made assistant coach to a soccer team and we did some cardio to get our HR up. I think the team made me assistant coach because I always bring food, not because of my soccer knowledge.

Anyway, I also listened to Zombies Run season 2 episode 42.

Thoughts and spoilers below:

I am amazed at how well-connected Van Ark is to Abel. He has runner 8 and another informant working for him, the person that actually switched the formula.

I could feel my body burning because of Van Ark’s injections, at least I imagined it while I was running. It was intense and very scary. I really thought I’d turn into a zombie in this episode.

Let’s hope the weird chemicals VA put inside me won’t have grave consequences later on.
