↬ Acorn Wedding Earrings

The Diamond Oak Leaf and Acorn Earrings were a wedding gift to Catherine from her parents who commissioned them for her wedding day from London jewellers Robinson Pelham.

They feature diamond-set stylized oak leaves which were designed to compliment the 'Scrolls' of the Cartier Halo Scroll tiara worn by Catherine on the day.

Dangling from the leaves is a pear shaped diamonds set drop having a pave set diamond acorns suspended in the center. The acorns were incorporated in the design as they appear in the Middleton Coat of Arms.

The then Duchess of Cambridge attended the ANZAC service. Jewels from Princess Diana were present - The Collingwood earrings.

These diamond and pearl drop earrings are ultimate classics: absolutely timeless, perfectly versatile, and endlessly useful. The earrings feature a round diamond stud, from which is suspended an additional round diamond and a bell cap set with three more rows of small diamonds. The Duchess also wore a new brooch, suspected to be a piece from Robinson Pelham. A jeweller who also designed the earrings Catherine wore on her wedding day.

Foreverinthepagesofhistory challenge day 2: Ball outfit

For a tiara i choose the Fife tiara. It was owned by Princess Louise the oldest daughter of Edward VII of the UK, who got it as a wedding gift. The tiara is thought to be a work of Parisian Jeweler Oscar Massin.

For a dress I chose a dress worn by another of King Edwards daughters, Queen Maud of Norway. The dress was made between 1905 and 1910 and I don't know who made it.

For earrings I chose The Princess of Wales' wedding earrings. the oak leaves and acorn diamond earrings were a gift from her parents, they were made by Robinson Pelham. For a necklace I chose the George VI festoon necklace, which was commissioned from Garrard in 1950.

For other details I chose the three-strand pearl necklace designed by Nigel Milne in 1988 for Princess Diana, now worn by The Princess of Wales. And a simple one-strand pearl necklace choker, worn above by princess Diana. As for choose I don't have any pictures but i would wear choose of the type worn in the 1920s.

The then Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined Tom Cruise for the London premiere of Top Gun: Maverick.

With the dress, Kate wore a sparkling new pair of diamond earrings from one of the Middleton family’s favorite jewelry firms, Robinson Pelham which were made of gold and set with diamonds.

From the Tsar Star Collection. Star-shaped studs and drop earrings rendered in 14K white gold embellished with brilliant diamonds, which cost over £11,000.
