mc comes to ro's room at night quietly, lays beside them and wrapping their arms around ro's waist while whispering that they're sorry too, what would be the ro's reaction to this?

i'm gonna say this after an argument or else i'm gonna spiral asking myself sorry for what???

Adelaide: she wasn't sleeping, she rarely does, but she doesn't respond. she only huffs and cuddles closer to her pillow, trying to get as far away from the mc without actually getting out of their arms. after a while though, she realises she's not happy like that and she rolls over and cuddle mc instead.

Hayden: they hug them back and say that they're sorry too without hesitation. they simply want to put everything behind them and enjoy being back in the mc's arms.

Gabriel: without saying a word, he rolls over and engulfs the mc in his arms. he buries his face in their neck and just holds them close, refusing to let them go for any reason.

Jordan: they take it slow, hugging them back and talking about everything that happened. it may be the middle of the night but they're going to have a therapy session right then and there, only going to sleep once they're both forgiven and feeling better about it.

Mavis/Maverick: listen they were asleep the second their head hit the pillow, they have no idea anythings even happening.

I was tagged by @pia-writes-things to post 9 of my fave film first watches of 2023, which is only easy as I watched a record low number of movies.

So without further ado:

Marcel the Shell with Shoes on (#1 by a country mile): OMG OMG OMG. If you have not already seen this, go find it on a streaming platform immediately. I was sobbing from like the 2nd minute in--truly an incredible concept, and such a great examination of community, grief, etc. It goes without saying, get the hankies ready.

Femme: opposite end of the spectrum, a revenge fantasy about a guy that gets gaybashed, and then decides to make his attacker fall in love with him. Dark and thought provoking, and probably quite difficult for most people to find online.

Talk To Me: this gets a shoutout mostly because I saw it at a secret screening and it was a cool concept, very well paced, not too many jumpscares (though certainly violent), and with a decent ending (which is hard for the horror indies to nail).

Tar: I doubt I need to say much--I am sure this is a lesbian Tumblr darling. A film that says, hey, women can be cunts too, you know--except unlike men, they'll pay the price for it. (okay, it says a lot more than that, but you already know).

Barbie: I felt such a sense of joy coming out of the theatre, one that I hadn't felt in ages--also I just loved seeing so many dressed in pink for weeks around all the cinemas.

Next Goal Wins: only just snuck this into 2023, a very entertaining comedy based on American Samoa's football team. If you watch Taika Waititi's films, you know what you're getting.

Spiderman Across the Spiderverse: another Tumblr favourite, so no more needs saying--I do think the animation is absolutely sublime and I love how dark they went with it.

Air: aka the Nike Michael Jordan story. I know Ben and Matt are not Tumblr's favourite people (except for memes that is), however the movie is both a fascinating look into Jordan's mother, and her sheer belief in her son's brand and skill--and it's also a really interesting look into Nike. It's also just a damn solid, well acted film.

Glass Onion: another Tumblr favourite...

Tried to actively stay away from talking Ros and Sophie films, or any that I've already blogged or reblogged gifsets of. I could do a few more shoutouts but they sort of fall into a similar category as some of the above.

a few more Beyond era characters, some more overhauled than others:

Sara Stewart is...basically just an OC, but along the lines of Lara, in that she’s got a few existing characters in her DNA. She’s the daughter of John Stewart and Lyla Michaels, so similar to Diggla and Lyla’s daughter/son (time travel bullshit) Sara, who’s replaced by John Jr. Reversing that, Sara was born under the latter name, but goes by Sara as an adult. She’s a metahuman with a direct line to the Green Emotional Spectrum, which gives her some light physical enhancements, but more significantly the capacity to generate a bow and arrows she’s able to mentally control to a variety of effects.

Next is Kai-Ro who’s basically a direct lift from canon. His older sister is Curare of the League of Assassins (which shockingly is also canon?) and he’s the Justice League Unlimited’s main Lantern.

Harry Jordan is...an odd addition? So, there’s a Hal Jordan who’s the grandson (?) of his namesake in Countdown Arena who’s the Lantern of Earth-12, ignoring Kai-Ro completely. I wanted to play with that idea little, so he’s Harry instead of Hal here, but instead of Hal’s grandson, he’s an experiment by Mosaic scientists to create another Aya-class AI capable of channeling green energy...with the personality of Hal Jordan. While the experiment technically worked, Harry lacks a lot of the texture and depth of the original Hal, so he’s much more childish and impulsive, driving Kai and Sara crazy having to put up with him.

ROs reaction to MC absentmindedly playing with the ROs hair? like the MC and RO are just chilling and suddenly MC has a hand in their hair.

Adelaide: she's a little unnerved because she's not used to people just touching her for the sake of touching her, there's always an ulterior motive. so she tenses up and doesn't relax until the mc is just playing with her hair absentmindedly.

Hayden: they thoroughly enjoy it. they can't think of or focus on anything else, they simply relish in the feeling of mc's fingers in their hair. honestly if they were a cat, they'd be purring their head off.

Gabriel: he is taken completely off guard, he's not used to people touching him so gently. he loves it though and he loves himself in the feeling, almost falling asleep in the process.

Jordan: in all honesty, they don't love it. they can tell the mc is just doing it mindlessly so they won't say anything about it unless it gets too much for them to handle. they also tell them how they feel about it for future reference

Mavis/Maverick: they feel giddy and loved and wanted. they never want the mc to stop and even lean into, stopping everything they're doing to focus on the moment at hand.

#TH1RTE3N  is  a  group  verse  based  around  original  slasher  lore.  if  you  want  to  know  more  or  you’re  interested  in  joining,  please  read  the  CARRD.

the plot follows a slasher in two different timelines, targeting a group of friends who all went to school together. the first timeline takes place in the summer of 2009, following graduation leading up to the first six victims being killed. there was a thirteen year gap, where most of the survivors fled town and moved on with their lives. the second time line picks up in the summer of 2022 with kill #7, when first hale came back to hell and ended up being the first kill of the new timeline. the killer used the funeral and threatened family members and friends to lure the other six names on the list back to hell. the original six victims are available to be written in the 2009 timeline. to make this plot work best, we need other citizens of hell, ohio too. think of the characters in your favorite slasher films. cops, classmates, siblings and cousins, exes, anyone that could spice up the plot through dynamics. you are welcome to make another character affiliated with any other existing character in the plot, as long as you discuss it with the mun of the character you are affiliating with first (i will check, don't be weird.)
