#TH1RTE3N  is  a  group  verse  based  around  original  slasher  lore.  if  you  want  to  know  more  or  you’re  interested  in  joining,  please  read  the  CARRD.

the plot follows a slasher in two different timelines, targeting a group of friends who all went to school together. the first timeline takes place in the summer of 2009, following graduation leading up to the first six victims being killed. there was a thirteen year gap, where most of the survivors fled town and moved on with their lives. the second time line picks up in the summer of 2022 with kill #7, when first hale came back to hell and ended up being the first kill of the new timeline. the killer used the funeral and threatened family members and friends to lure the other six names on the list back to hell. the original six victims are available to be written in the 2009 timeline. to make this plot work best, we need other citizens of hell, ohio too. think of the characters in your favorite slasher films. cops, classmates, siblings and cousins, exes, anyone that could spice up the plot through dynamics. you are welcome to make another character affiliated with any other existing character in the plot, as long as you discuss it with the mun of the character you are affiliating with first (i will check, don't be weird.)

i think its already clear that im obsessed w tate BUT i am simply thinking ab tate being this poor kid who lives in the trailer park and is known to be a petty criminal and known to get violent (and threatened casper w a gun even if that doesnt become super super public knowledge, i imagine there’s a bit of gossip ab it bc cassie is certainly not happy ab it) like?? 

the way he so easily becomes a suspect w the writing on the wall but Especially when the murders happen bc he’s still actively ending up in fights and the whole casper thing happened and i am just thinking ab this poor dude who’s just as scared and confused as everyone else (maybe not as scared as the ones on the list but yknow) and just the fact that he’s so easy to pin it on and fits the bill so well that they probably barely think twice just. take him into custody on suspicions of it and declare that they’ll hold him until another murder happens (if another murder happens) and how he’s just sat there terrified, probably not treated great bc they all think he did it, and then even when number four is found (and Yes tate does ask ab faye bc he has that list Memorized and he knows that faye came before #4) and he’s let go people probably still either think he did it or just think?? less of him in general?? esp those who already looked down on him a lot (lookin @ the rich/suburban parents) and just??

faye cassidy. resident enigma party girl, living life like she’s going to die tomorrow. doesn’t take anything too seriously; school, the murders, people and their opinions. gas station queen <3 skips frequently, lots of connections, you can find her under the bleachers smoking if she’s not at a party or your dad’s house. when she dies, no one except caspian really notices. when they find her, her body’s rotted with neglect and since it’s the third murder, she doesn’t attain nearly as much attention as the other two prior along with other contributing aspects such as her general status and reputation in the town/among people. the fourth murder on the list occurs before they find her, and it’s likely she wouldn’t have been found if they hadn’t noticed the list was out of order.

HELL, OHIO  was  the  last  place  trystan  wanted  to  be.  ever.  but  especially  at  easton’s  funeral.  she  hadn’t  been  back  in  this  godforsaken  town  in  thirteen  years.  they  were  on  the  run  for  thirteen  god  damn  years  before  easton  got  homesick  and  decided  to  tempt  fate  . . .  and  fate  was  waiting  him.  it  felt  like  a  nightmare  when  izzi  called  her  that  night.  it  didn’t  feel  real.  it  felt  like  she  was  living  a  slasher  film,  and  this  was  the  sequel.  no,  not  a  sequel.  the  movie  never  ended,  did  it?  she  took  another  swig  of  whiskey,  then  pushed  it  into  the  pocket  of  her  leather  jacket.  

trystan  hated  funerals,  but  she  really  fucking  hated  this  one.  she  didn’t  want  to  be  there,  but  how  could  she  be  anywhere  else?  it  was  a  small  town,  and  only  a  fraction  of  the  population  dared  come  anywhere  near  the  funeral  of  one  of  the  cursed  thirteen.  easton  deserved  better  than  this.  they  all  deserved  better  than  this.  she  couldn’t  avoid  everyone  even  if  she  tried,  so  when  she  spotted  a  familiar  face  at  the  funeral  home  she  didn’t  run  away.  she  was  so  sick  of  running  . . .  “hey  stranger,”  she  said  after  an  awkward  moment  of  silence.  “long  time  no  see.”

NO.  this  was  supposed  to  be  a  dumb  joke.  it  was  a  stupid  senior  prank.  that’s  what  they  told  themselves,  because  it  was  easier  than  admitting  the  truth  :  that  some  sicko  was  targeting  a  bunch  of  teenagers.  they  could  pretend  it  wasn’t  real.  until  it  was  in  black  and  white,  on  the  front  page  of  the  hell  herald  . . .  and  on  every  god  damn  news  channel  in  ohio.  it  felt  frighteningly  real  now.  she  was  losing  her  mind,  looking  over  her  shoulder  around  every  corner  like  some  sociopath  was  going  to  skip  numbers  two  to  twelve  and  off  number  thirteen.  were  any  of  them  safe  anymore?  fuck.  finally,  she  saw  a  familiar  face.  someone  she  could  talk  to.  she  walked  briskly  toward  them,  arms  folded  over  her  frame  like  they  could  somehow  protect  her  from  whatever  the  hell  killed  makena.  “did  you  see  the  news?”  she  asked  expectantly,  suddenly  realizing  she  didn’t  want  to  be  the  one  to  tell  them.

i am once again sobbing ab tate. thinkin ab him trying to shift his image after hes held in custody and just trying to be a Good Kid but he never quite manages to be good enough for the adults around hell like. Tries to get a nice job but no one wants to hire him bc a) his history of Violence and b) he was suspected of murders that are Still Happening and i am simply picturing him managing to scrape together enough money for a cheap second hand suit and he looks So Good in it but the rich adults just see right through him and see all the imperfections and its just Never Good Enough no matter what he does and he truly thinks that he'll never get the chance to be any more than the violent kid from the trailer park But Then he follows benji off to college and learns he has a chance to reinvent himself and just. People give him a Chance and thats all he ever asked for and hes so happy to just finally be offered the opportunity to change and grow. Probably enrols in a local community college and gets a job and just. Gets to do these things that he Never thought he'd ever be able to do and that he'd never be able to do in hell and just. When he gets back to hell years later no one even really recognizes him because hes so different but really hes still The Same Guy just w a more put together outside than he used to have
