Dear LGBTQ+ friends,
1) I love you. Your full whole self.
2) I would not change anything about you. Not a hair on your head.
3) I see you. I value you. I want you to be your authentic self. I treasure the courage it takes to be exactly who you are.
4) I am proud of you. I am proud to call you my friend.
5) I want to know you. Wherever you are on your journey (because we’re all on one, aren’t we?)
6) I am here for you. I will do whatever I can for you to be yourself. For you to have the choice to marry who you want, (or if you choose not to- that’s cool too!). I want you to be able to have children (If that’s what you want).
7) I know it can be hard to trust me. I am safe in my status as a cisgender heterosexual person. Just know I will do what it takes to earn your trust. All you have to do is ask. Or tell me what to do. I am willing to learn. Please let me know if I make mistakes as an ally. I will correct them to the best of my ability. I want to use my privilege to boost yours.
8) I apologize for the harm Christians have done to you. I believe God created you just the way you are. I believe Jesus loves you just the way you are. If you don’t believe in Jesus, (especially the Western version)- I don’t blame you. I would like to apologize on behalf of Christians that have treated you poorly or expected you to make yourself smaller to fit some kind of mold. I apologize for Christians that have used the Bible as a tool to beat you up. I don’t believe that is how God intended his love story to humans to be used. God is a creative creator, and I believe you were created out of pure love for a reason. The God/Jesus I believe in have room for you at the table- exactly how you were made- beautifully in the image of the divine.
As one of my favorite people says, “a rising tide lifts all boats.” There is room for all of us at the table. So, this pride month I want you to know I’m here for you. You are beautiful, exactly as you are.

The hardest part about throwing out my back is the patience to get better before going full tilt back into everyday life. It’s taking every amount of self control I have this weekend not to pull out the pickaxe and shovel and work on the front flower bed. . Someone asked me a few days ago what my hobbies are and I said “CrossFit, Food, & Work” (yes I realize the irony of considering work a hobby) but I really should have put gardening on the list. At least right now. If I’m not daydreaming about which vintage mirror to put on what wall, I’m daydreaming about how to design my own Edwardian garden. . Vote onto what Civilization 5 Complete Edition & Beyond Earth Rising Tide to publish first?
Greetings, I have been seriously pondering between a couple of options for the first playthrough to play and publish in ~8 years (soon celebrating my 9th anniversary of my first Civ 5 video on my YouTube channel next month around August 10th)
As such, I thought it would be a nice idea to ask you all what you would prefer considering how divisive my options were and still are.
*paths meaning that there is enough room to go from one hemisphere ("north" side or "south" side) to the other but not too much, making world congress diplomacy harder, more interesting and overall slower in most probability instances.
The first two will emulate the two other terrestrial / habitable planets in 16^12 that are in the same stellar system than Angora/Venera is. While the Beyond Earth Rising Tide one focuses mostly onto the first colonizable worlds in Stellaris, either in the style of a Stellaris' "Deneb" situation or literally connected to Stellaris, either before the starting date or even during the early game but always before it reaches mid-game (Marauders, Great Khans, other mid-game crises).
It is good mention I am still doing all of them, it is simply a matter of what I initially publish / share with you all. And any of your suggestions are very warmly welcome on my end so feel free to comment / reply / reblog / respond what you would prefer in any case what-so-ever granted.

Funny true story, while playing at the beach, my brother and I made a deep fortress at low tide, and then tried in vain to defend it from the encroaching rising tide.
