So since the Feral Leo AU is canon compliant up to the end of the movie Leo doesn’t know Usagi yet, but what a great opportunity for a weird meet-cute.

Leo’s eyes constantly shift, even after he’s recovered. Most of the time when they’re out they stay alert, but when he’s happy it’s easy to tell. It makes lying a little harder for him than it used to be. He can’t get anything past his family like he used to.

First

I am hopped up on cold medicine and it’s 1am but this ask about Hueso inspired me.

Leo’s memories are still pretty jumbled and he only gets quick messy flashes but the Bone Man brought pizza so he’s okay in Leo’s book.

Hueso remembers their first meeting well enough that he’s just relieved he can still see Leo is himself where it counts.
