If you got to put Anevay into WoW, how would you handle her?
Give her a Post-BFA story involving her disassociation from the Horde. Make her a character the player can interact with to a level not seen before, but also make her difficult to get along with or empathize with.
If you did, however, then at the end she'll challenge you to a duel in Tirisfal Glades. Just a 1v1 bout. And this would be WoW's equivalent to Lingering Will. An extremely difficult fight that pushes your class to its limit, and changes depending on your class (because Anevay has experience fighting everything at this point).
You could re-challenge it any time you wanted at no cost, no durability loss, and with your cooldowns reset every time. Just go to Tirisfal Glades and try again.
The first time you beat her, you complete her story and she gives you a cosmetic weapon transmog from her collection (she's been around a lot and collected quite the arsenal of deadly weapons) based on your class that, when equipped or transmogged, has a cosmetic effect on one of your abilities.
Death Knight - Shadowmourne (HD Version)
This horrible mourneblade was crafted by the Knights of the Ebon Blade to wield against Arthas. Anevay was chosen to use it against him, and afterwards kept it in her vault to never be touched again.
Effect - Lichborne will cause the Forgeborne Reveries effect for 24 Hours.
Demon Hunter - Death-Touched Warblade
One of Anevay's many warblades, this one was blessed by the Banshee Queen herself. Anevay replaced it with Tal'Zaram, but kept it for sentimental reasons.
Effect - Fel Rush and Infernal Strike use death effects, and cause the player to have Banshee tendrils for 24 hours.
Evoker - Chromie's Locket
Chromie was a dear friend of Anevay, though like most of Anevay's friends she drifted away as Anevay became increasingly bitter. Their friendship ultimately shattered due to Anevay's continued tormenting of Teldrassil's survivors. Anevay seems almost eager to give this locket away.
Effect - Soaring will have Bronze Dragon sand magic effects.
Hunter - Livewood Longbow
This bow was carved out of one of the last pieces of livewood, wood taken from Thas'alah, after the Fall. It still possesses traces of the Mother Tree's power though there are hints of the Scourge's corruption within. It's not nearly as powerful as Thas'dorah, it is still one of the most expertly carved bows you've ever seen.
Effect - Steady Shot and Auto Attacks will have nature tints to them, while Aimed Shot and Cobra Shot will have death tints to them.
Effect (Blood Elves Only) - Several bow attacks and Disengage will use Sylvanas' unique bow animations.
Mage - Vial of Sunwell Water (Off Hand)
Taken from the Sunwell before it's poisoning, it's among the last remaining relics of the original Sunwell. Because of Anevay's distaste for the Sunwell, it is unknown why she kept this.
Effect - Fire Spells are now blue.
Monk - Lorewalker's Staff
This staff was gifted to Anevay by Lorewalker Cho, who she developed a close friendship with in Pandaria. Anevay has not seen Cho since, and like most of her friends she has largely avoided doing so.
Effect - Zen Flight will play one of Cho's stories if you fly for longer than 10 seconds.
Rogue - Sidearm (Dagger with identical 1H variant)
This dagger is of Pre-Fall Thalassian make, painted green and gold of the Farstriders. It was standard issue for Ranger Captains, and the paint is chipped in places. It also carries the unmistakeable scent of Blight.
Effect - Shadowstep animation has a ghostly flash step effect
Paladin - Ranger's Warblade (2H and 1H Variants)
A standard issue Ranger's warblade, this weapon is balanced to be wielded in one or both hands. As part of it's creation, it was blessed in the Sunwell's waters. It's been repaired and maintained quite extensively, and is one of the last weapons remaining to have been blessed by the Pre-Light Sunwell.
Effect - Light effects on several attacks and healing spells are replaced with Arcane effects.
Priest - Tome of Prayers to Belore
Before the Sunwell became a beacon of Light, the Priests of Silvermoon prayed to the sun, calling it Belore. As the Blood Knights lost their faith, they discarded many of their holy texts. Anevay preserved this one for posterity's sake, though she was never a spiritual woman herself. She saw the worship of the Naaru to be Alliance assimilation. It was said she quite enjoyed speaking to the Tauren about the differences between Belore and An'she.
Effect - Spirit of Redemption takes the form of an Elven avatar of Belore.
Effect - Levitate will grant wings of sunlight for 24 hours.
Shaman - String of Grisly Trophies (Off hand with Shield Variant, but appears around neck)
Anevay was particularly ruthless in combat, and often took trophies from high profile kills. This grisly necklace contains ears taken from Amani Trolls, Humans, and Night Elves. It's unsettling, though not surprising. Anevay was vocal about her detestation of the three.
Effect - In Ghost Wolf form, the spirits of Anevay's prey will ride on your back and talk about the fights that killed them.
Warlock - Singed Bough of Teldrassil
This scorched bough of the World Tree was recovered by Anevay and fashioned into a walking stick. The bough is a testament to Anevay's utter lack of remorse for the Burning of Teldrassil.
Effect - Fire spells will have ghostly effects and Kaldorei screams added to them.
Effect - Tyrande Whisperwind will react to the staff with absolute disgust.
Warrior - Tal'Zaram (Identical 1H and 2H variants)
This Warblade is crafted from Saronite and Titansteel. It is extremely sharp, extremely durable, and has felled more deadly enemies than every other mythical weapon on Azeroth combined. It was a gift from Warchief Sylvanas Windrunner for Anevay's loyalty in Gilneas and is teeming with death magic.
Effect - Intimidating Shout causes a Banshee's Wail and causes the Warrior to sprout smoke tendrils from her back for 24 Hours.
